Warning! I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but this experiance made me want to warn others I went in To purchase ink or get my cartridge refilled. I got an ink refill a few months ago from this location by the owner and when I asked for a refill the owner said they don’t do that. I told him he was the one to do it and then they said they have t done that for over a year. I wish my ink lasted that long then I wouldn’t go to a discount location. I showed him and the other employee my canon cartridge with the sticker he placed on it after he refilled it. They were rude and tried to make me seem like I was in the wrong. I was willing to buy a cartridge from them but they didn’t have it. He said maybe tomorrow and wasn’t willing to be any more accommodating. He said he put some ink in cartridge and I know that was a lie because of coarse it doesn’t work. They said the machines are mest up and the other employee said well we don’t make any money they loose money and those aren’t guaranteed be cause the censors can get mest up blah, blah. I believe he just played with my cartridge and mest it up. He refilled it last time and said how easy it was. I told him I literally had just taken it out of my computer. This time it was like I was asking them to climb Mount Everest. I will be ordering on Amazon and just getting the refil bottle myself. I really liked this place because it’s close to my house but just like all businesses they get money hungry and rude. Unfortunately I. told friends and family about this business and I will soon be giving them the latest update. This place was awesome a few months ago and ink was fine but I’m not gonna waste my time which is more important then wasting my money. If you no longer do something say that but don’t make up lies and argue with your customers and smirk and laugh.

i purchased a 74 and 75 cartridge for my hp. they stopped working after about a month of light printing(maybe 10 pages). i took them back and the asian guy at the desk was cordial stating«oh it sometimes takes 2 times before your printer recognizes them.» so he replaced them and i was impressed at the time. i installed the new cartridges and again they worked for about a month, light printing. took them back for return but was out of the 90 day refund window so no dice. my advice, if they don’t work, get your refund back. or just buy the real thing. lesson learned!

There aren’t too many places to filling cartridges nowadays. After a couple of poor experiences with Ebay vendors and learning Costco does not fill Samsung carts, I called Cartridge World. The person answered the phone was very polite and gave me the quote right away. About 2 weeks later, I sent someone there with my empty cart, and a filled one was already available to trade. Not sure if that was their stock item or they had it ready because I called. They charged exactly the price I was quoted, and the cartridge has been working well for a week since then.

First off — this place apparently changed owner hands recently. Prior to this back in May or so, I bought 3HP carts for my printer, C, M, Y. The M and Y worked but of course, claimed to not be HP by the printer but whatever — we’ve come to expect that. Eventually the third C took my printer down 2 weeks after installing it. Infamous«Ink System Failure». ‘So typical!’ I think to myself and even my original HP carts and every reset to man can fix it. $ 699 printer down the drain I think. Well I brought it back to the shop and was informed by the new owner about this changeover. He agreed to take the time to check it out. 30 minutes later to my shock, he gets it working again and shows me the prior carts that were sold to me were all bogus carts missing their IC chip, eluding to this was one of the issues with the old owners and by looking at the prior reviews, seems to have been a pattern. I eventually left with a working printer and I feel much better now going back to get my ink from them again and suggest all to take a look at their products either for the first time, or again.

The day I went in to this store, their system was down. Instead of simply telling me this from the get-go, the representative looked for the cartridge I needed drawer by drawer. Although this process felt like an eternity, it was probably«only» 5 – 10 minutes. He found one that he said«should» work. I compared it to the one I brought in, the one I gave him, and saw it was clearly different. I pointed this out and he said that I could try it and if it didn’t work I could come back. That’s when I asked him if he could look up the cartridge in a catalog or the computer, because if he wasn’t certain, I could try somewhere else. And that was when he explained his problem. One thumb down for wasting my time while the clerk hoped he could find my replacement with blind luck, and one huge thumb down for assuming I had the time to go all the way home to test his bad hunch on a cartridge that looked different and then come back to his store when his system was functioning.

This is the worst store I have ever been to, Nothing is done on time very lethargic people. The deliveries wont be done on time, the cartridges wont work properly the ink is not filled completely but they take the full pay. I would rate Paseo Padre Pkwy 5⁄5 but not this. Instead f gng to this store thrs another on Paseo Padre Pkwy I would suggest u ll to go thr but not here. Its my personal opinion though.

And this one star is only because I couldn’t rate it any lower. This place is managed in such an unprofessional manner. The ink that they refilled was so diluted that the text I printed seemed merged up. And the mess up was topped by such rude behavior by the staff that I would never get back to this place again.

Great! They can refill my cartridge where I can’t anywhere else! He was so nice, greeted me when I came in, said he would give me a student discount next time I came in & gave me a pice of Easter candy. I can I say it’s cheap ! Awesome. I will be coming back here for sure.

I am honored to be the first to review this place. To make this easy, here is the follow up email to corporate after complained about the clerk/Owner of this location. This is a follow up to my last email regarding the Hayward Cartridge World. I was able to get my refund, but the clerk/owner(same guy as last time who was giving me a hard time) was being extremely rude when he realized that I was the person who complained about him to corporate, so I am going to take my time to give you some valuable feedback. When I went to return my ink the first time, he asked if I was the one who wrote to corporate and I admitted it. Then he started giving me attitude and asked if I would be happy if he lost his job. I then told him that the reason I wrote to corporate because he was arguing with me the reason for my return last time and he replied with«I Do Not Argue with Customers!!» There he goes being angry and arguing with me again. I didn’t bother to get into details on what he said t me last time I wrote y corporate, but now I feel like you should know the details. The first time, I returned the ink I told him that the black ink bleed and the colored ink printed nice and clear which shows that there was a problem with the black ink/cartridge compared to the colored ink(which I also bought from Cartridge world) therefore it there is a problem with the black ink(I even showed him proof), he first looked at the proof and said«what’s wrong? The ink printed and it’s black ink, that’s what you bought» I then replied«Are you kidding me? The texts bleed together! It’s unacceptable» He then started to blame my printer even though the colored ink came out fine on the same print. I then insisted I didn’t want a replacement, I wanted my money back for the black ink and he said«You used it. I cannot resell it» and I replied«How was I supposed to know if there was a defect if I didn’t use it?» Fast-forward to today, he gave me my money back, but it was still a horrible experience having the guy asking me if I would be happy if he lost his job and was giving me attitude the whole time. My answer to his question is that I won’t be celebrating if he lost his job, I really won’t care. The important question is whether if he would care if he loses his job for being an asshole. He needs anger management training or better medical care to get his bipolar self checked!

I’m giving this place one star, though they don’t deserve any star at all. The guy that was working at the time was a horrible employee. He silent me when I ask him questions about refilling my cartridges. On top of that, when I finally took the cartridges out of the bag when I got home, the ink has spilled all over the bag! I will never go back to this place again until they teach their employees some common courtesy.
