Longggg Unilocal.When I was a young lad (and a tad hard to handle shall we say) my dear parents sent me off to Switzerland to be with my Uncle and his kin. What my parents didn’t know was my cousins were worse than me. My uncle had a lovely wine cellar stocked with weird names: d’Yquem, Margaux, Petrus… etc etc.
My elfish cousins would sneak me down there and open dear uncle’s wines… Now I was young and dumb… but I could tell these were not those jugs of carlo rossi. And thus began my life long affinity with wines and french wines in particular.
Belmont wine Exchange is a oenophile’s erotic dream. Not just having a bottle of this or that but depth of the good stuff. You want a reasonable 1999 Château Margaux… we got 16 (hell yes). Good selection of 80s, 90s and beyond.
