Great attentive staff. A lot of regulars sit and chat. Truly a neighborhood coffee shop!

I came to this Starbucks from out of town and ordered a grande caramel mach with whole milk and extra caramel. My usual go to.
The older lady at the register seemed nice enough. You can’t expect minimum wage workers to smile at every patron, so I’ve learn to ignore the customer service aspect of my ratings when it comes to high volume stores.
The drink was okay. The caffeine aspect of it was not strong enough. It almost seemed too milky and not enough expresso. I paid almost $ 5 for a mediocre drink, it wasnt bad but also wasn’t good. Satisfactory for a Starbucks.

When I’m in the area this is my go to Starbucks. The staff is friendly for the most part. Lines are surprisingly short and there is lots of seating inside. And great parking. It’s in a nice big shopping center. It’s not so clean here and they seem to get my drink wrong each time I order but they are nice and friendly enough to correct it. I’m usually in the area at night so most of the time there out of pastries and sandwiches.

Apparently the line of demarcation that splits the good Starbucks Stores and the bad ones is the 405 freeway. The lattes are not poured to the rim when made with no foam. They are about two inches short in a Grande sized cup disguising it’s true pour size as a little more than a tall size drink. Not sure why the barista poured so much out of the cup then put the cover on. I asked for it to be fixed and it was, but the taste just is NOT the same as in other stores. Not sure if it’s the water or the way this store’s particular baristas are trained, but I have noticed this trend of underpouring and funky tasting lattes in other Starbucks stores east of the 405 in the South Bay, particularly the ones on Rosecrans. I have learned my lesson and will only be visiting the stores west of the 405 in the South Bay from now on.

I saw some harsh reviews of the staff here but I’ve been a few times now and have no complaints. I always go at night so maybe that’s it.

Baristas are quick & friendly.
Line is typically short at night.
No drive thru.
Plenty of parking.
Lots of seating inside and outside. Plus leather chairs!
Store & patio cleanliness = B
Bathroom cleanliness = A
The best thing about this Starbucks is that they still have the comfy leather club chairs. Not the hard chairs Starbucks is putting in the new locations to get you out quick.

I love this Starbucks. I come to this Starbucks all the time I work close to it so I’m here often. I’ve been a customer here for two years and I’ve never experienced any problems. The baristas know me and they make everyone feel welcome they’re super polite and cool idk why all the bad reviews. Maybe people are super picky about everything I suppose.

By far the worst Starbucks you can go to. Slow staff, rude customers, seems like everyone is always standing around in a bad mood, not enjoying a yummy coffee and socializing like it should be. Stay away!

This starbucks is right by my house. Basically across the street. But I skip it because every time I think I should give it another chance I leave the place feeling angry and disappointed. Today was no different (hence the Internet retaliation).
just skip this Starbucks. they’ll screw up whatever you order and they’ll be incredibly rude to you even if you’re intentionally kind to them.

I had the worst experience at this location last night.
I and 4 of my girlfriends are walking in about 9:45pm, we don’t get a ‘Hello’ are greeting Was” I thought we were closing, I guess not with all of them.” I really should of said something to her but I didn’t, her comment was just unnecessary. To my understanding they are open until 10pm. To make matters worse she makes are drinks in the worst mood throwing the blenders, rolling her eyes, I asked her a question and she shuts me up by saying «I don’t hear you» by this point I was done with her! I got her name (Raquel) and called the manger. I did feel bad for the nice Cashier that had to deal with her poor attitude.

Why the bad reviews on the barista’s and cashiers?
Came here earlier today and ordered a mango black tea (I think it’s called that, I know it has SOMETHING to do with mango and tea) LOL. Anywhoo, the cashier was a pretty lightskin girl who was SO nice and was even able to clarify the ingredients in specific drinks for me. She didn’t say hello upon welcoming, but literally, that isn’t something you NEED upon entering, her welcoming attitude once you talk to her is ravishing.
The Barista made my tea well, I asked light on ice although they specify that it’s not allowed due to Starbucks regulations, he didn’t necessarily did «light on ice» but he did do his best to not give me the whole arctic in the cup.
One thing I would recommend is when calling out to pick up the order, call out the name that was asked for when you pay for it. It causes mistakes, I damn near drank some ladies’ tea when the barista yelled out «mango black tea» & we all know people don’t like when you mess with their caffeine!
Like c’mon, I try hard to make a simple name so you guys can have an easy time writing it and yelling it out. But nonetheless my experience was uplifting, would go back if I am near the area again.

I enjoy Starbucks daily, but this location. Lord the staff here is ridiculously rude. I never get greeted with a hello, everyone there looks like they don’t want to be there. The only person that is cheerful is gentlemen, which I think is the manager, everyone else wow. If you don’t like your job quit I’m sure there are happy people out there that would like your job.

Nice guys. Same drinks as all the other Starbucks. Although the frapps here are always made too watery.
I ordered a frapp dammit not chocolate milk.

When I say there is a starbucks on every block near me, I mean LITERALLY there is a starbucks on EVERY SINGLE BLOCK near me. That aside, this location is my favorite one to go to. Every one that works here is awesome. I have never had any issues with my drinks being wrong. They have a lot of seats and tables (as well as an outdoor patio). What makes them my favorite is that they have 2 (maybe 3) large square tables. When I come here to study, I usually grab one of the larger tables. All the other starbucks have the little itty bitty round tables that just barely fit your laptop and nothing else! Internet here is the same as any other starbucks… spotty

There’s no worse way to start your Saturday morning than with a rude barista. If you don’t mind an attitude, than by all means… Come to this Starbucks.

I don’t normally write reviews, but if I’m going to pay five something for my coffee. I expect it to be correct. Normally this location gets my order right, but today it was horrible.
I ordered a grande ice caramel macchiato with a pump of raspberry and extra caramel. I’ve ordered my drink many times. so I know what my drink is suppose to look like. I asked the barista if there was a pump of raspberry in my drink. He said yeah. Uh huh. more like a squirt.
I like the location, but next time if that guy is working. I won’t be ordering.

Super nice fellow helped me tonight using all my gift cards on a variety of starbucks product. This is my go to starbucks because there’s usually parking and even a table to sit at… Nicely laid out space too.

This barista here never smile. Never give a receipt to their customers .

Here is why I am giving this store 5 stars: this store is tailored to the customer who is short of time, needs to get in and out and and will get a smile at the same time.
Other thing, this store has a good history of Managers that will truly listen to your concern or suggestions.

I live 6 miles away from here but i don’t mind the trip to this Starbucks. Cause they don’t mess my drinks.
Plus i haven’t drink enough caffeine for the day. hahaha
So far best Starbucks in the area city of Hawthorne.
