I really liked this place because they do a really nice job. The problem is that my nails would always break even the day after just getting them done. I thought it was just me but i refered my step dughter there and she had the same issue. She got her nails done and every day for a week after one nail broke. I’m not talking about doing anything hard that makes them break. One of the times i was toweling dry after a shower and it popped off. So i think they must use really cheap powder. I’ve done my nails at other places that were maybe a dollar or two more pricey and had none break at all. So i guess you do get what u pay for.
Two stars cause I do like the pedicures.

I was originally heading to Cerritos Nails and Spa, driving down Norwalk Blvd. and then this place caught my eye. I parked and went in just to ask how much they charge for eyebrow waxing. The guy said $ 5 and I was sold. Usually they lead you to a room because that’s where they do the eyebrow waxing but Nancy just led me to a chair in front of the nail station. I was like, ok weird? But after getting my eyebrows waxed, I was very happy! Nancy did a great job and she didn’t rush doing my eyebrows even though there were customers waiting to get their nails done. I’ll definitely come back again!

Okay so first of all let me mention that there is new ownership and I’m so glad Nancy is managing it now. I love getting my facials and eyelash extensions from her! I don’t get it from anyone else but her. She is the BEST!

The first time I came here I loved it so much! Fantastic job on my nails, took a long time for my nails to fall, over 300 colors to choose from, n the best part wonderful customer service

Nancy is amazing at EYELASHES! she did an awesome job on them! She was friendly, efficient, quick and made my eyes look amazing and natural! There is no one better!!! I also had a quick fill done by Lee, and my nails looks equally amazing! Prices are beyond reasonable and for the quality unbelievable! They can consider me a new and reoccurring client! Thank you Nancy and Lee!!!

Be prepared to wait. To get a pedi it took them 45 min to get to me. I don’t recommend gel here because it chips soon after but a full set will last forever. They have a moderate selection of polish.

I decided to try out a new place in my area since my old manicurist moved far away. I requested for a person who was popular among the customers, Nancy. She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere of the store was welcoming. She told me that they renovated the store, and it looks much so better honestly. I got what I came for, and I’m very please do. I would definitely come back. Remember to ask for Nancy!

Just wanna put out there that this is an entirely NEW and REFURBISHED management. It has affordable prices for everyone with great deals and sales here and there. If you’re looking for a luxurious spa, this might not be the place because it’s more of a friendly family-​oriented enviroment, making it very cozy and comfortable. The workers are very kind, especially one of the workers/​managers, Nancy. If you really want good service, I recommend her. They’re fairly quick and the shop includes, a spa/​massage room, flat screen TVs for your entertainment, and refreshments for sale if you ever get thirsty. I always go here for a quick pedicure and gel nails. You might have difficulty speaking to the Asian workers but they do try their best to give you the best service they can. Don’t hesitate, try it out!

This place is getting a bad rap on Unilocal.I was skeptical heading here reading the reviews but I went with my better judgment and tried them out. Nothing fancy, and I hope you didn’t expect fancy for a $ 15 full set. 5 pedicure chairs, 6 hand stations and 3 women working. Everyone is seated and patiently waiting, the women getting the pedicures by the time it was their turn they looked like shriveled prunes! No glits no glam but a polished manicure and pedicure for under $ 20 well that’s a deal not a spa retreat. I had the full set white tips done. I didn’t ask for pink and white but in the end my manicures added some pink clear-​ish polish on top and it would of looked great but it was done kind of sloppy. Other then this I did not have a bad experience. With so much competition out there I don’t think I will be back but it’s a go to when low on funds and you still need a manicure.

I wish I could give this NO stars! First of all, I had an appointment & when I got there they told me to take a seat. I waited for about 20 min. When they finally called me over, all she did was take off the nail polish I had on my acrylics & then she went to help another customer for about 15 min. She didn’t ask me if I wanted them any shorter so when I told her to cut them, she got mad. Umm, HELLOOOOOO! She was being very rough & cut me twice! & she was still going back & forth between me & her other customer. So neither of us was satisfied with the customer service. That’s just rude! I was sitting in there for about 3 hours when all I needed was my filling… Not going back

I live right up the street from this nail spa, thought i’d give it a try today since its local, right up the street why the hell not?
FYI i do love getting pedicures and full sets, I’m a real critic when it comes to nail salons and a real honest one. All i have to say is DO NOT COME HERE!!!
if you have really low standards then hey i guess you might like it. Anywho heres my story.
i went in today to get a pedicure and full set. first thought that ran through my head was i hope they used clean tools for my pedicure cause to be completely honest i don’t think they did !!! it looks so unsanitary in here !!! i couldn’t wait for my pedicure to be over.
anyways moving on to the best part once the lady started my full set
i knew it was going to be a disaster she didn’t even know what she was doing !!!
she didn’t know how to shape my nails the way i wanted and got mad when i told her i was not happy with my nails!!! they tried fixing them and didn’t know what they were doing ! They had to remove all of the acrylics off and asked if i wanted to get a fresh start. I said NO THANKS and only paid for my pedicure, which is usually priced at 12 dollars but i was only charged 8 because from the looks on there faces they knew they messed up pretty bad !!!
prices are real cheap, but you can guess why they honestly suck here!
BEWARE ENTER IF YOU DARE

I wish I could give this place 0 stars!!! This is the absolute WORSE PLACE for eyelash extensions!!! First of all the method is VERY unsanitary! My eyes burn so bad, and I feel like tiny needles are poking my eyelid. But the worse part? I CAN NOT SEE!!! I am having trouble typing this!!! My vision is blurred I am freaking out!!! KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

DO NOT GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS FROM THIS PLACE. I got my eyelashes extended about 2 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. the first day I got the extensions they burned my eyes and made me tear up. I just assumed it was the glue irritating me. they hurt my eyes every time I closed them, made it difficult to sleep, etc. now, almost two weeks later, my eyelashes look like crap. they are all mangled and falling off, but they won’t come off. I tried to get one off and it ripped out all of my natural eyelashes.
this might be the worst service I’ve ever received. my eyelashes will never be the same again. it was $ 25 down the drain, that I will never get back! I do not reccomend this AT ALL, please do not get this service and end up like me, with messed up eyelashes for life.

Name change SELENA NAIL &SPA new ownership. The girls are so sweet here. When I was a first time customer they treated me nice and made sure it was quick. NOW Unfortunately I need to change ny rating because now that they are busier they made me wait 2hrs. And when I had got my lashes done here they were only pretty for three days :/​then that’s when my lashes fell out. I’m not going back I regret giving them such a high rating building business for them now that they are busy they can’t take care of my services

I love my lash extensions! Thank you Nancy! She is very gentle and it didn’t take an hour to do! Let’s see how long they will last.

Just so you know: You can complain about these types of business to the Barber and Cosmetology Board of California. I did that and recently, received a letter from the Board, letting me know that the business had been inspected three different times and fined for infractions.
