Our new neighborhood pizza spot. Great pizza, crispy wings, and solid sandwiches. Especially like the red pie. Quick delivery even on a Friday night.

Unfortunately this restaurant had the worst pie I have ever had in my life. I love margherita piZZA but unfortunately it came burnt and completely soggy with no fresh ingredients. We spent 31 $ on a pie, chicken fingers, and a ceaser salad. Everything was completely bland. The ceaser salad had no cheese and was just romaine lettuce with 5million croutons and no dressing. Needless to say, I will never be ordering from nicks again.

Got menu in mail and decided to try this place out today, but not impressed at all, menu is deceiving, talking about homemade quality sandwiches and boardwalk style pizza?! The pizza was nasty, worst I have had in a long time, and the sandwich was bland and not good at all, wont be going back.

Just ordered takeout! What a joke! Slop is what we got and that’s being very polite. I would like to give no stars but Unilocal don’t allow it. My order took an hour food was cold and so far from what we even ordered. When I called I got a rude owner and not even so much as a I am sorry? Being I am a first time customer you think that they might want to make it right? Well to save yourself a headache and food poisoning go somewhere else.

The manager is a jerk and the wings are the size of ur pinky finger; not meaty at all. As a first time customer, my order was short changed and I received a smaller size pizza but still paid the larger sized price. When I informed the restaurant of the mess up they were closed and the girl(Name?) advised me to call the manager and they would make it right. When I called the manager he could barely speak or understand English and gave me a hard time. He gave the phone to a different girl named Toni who apologized and said she would talk to the manager and have the order redone right. She called me and confirmed that the order was being made. After 45 minutes and no order delivered, I called and spoke to Toni again who informed me that the manager told her NOT to honor the order and NOT to worry abt calling me back … Very unprofessional and the pizza sucked too

I really want to go 2.5 stars here. This place is hit or miss so 50% of the stars would seem adequate as a rating. The pizza more often than not is burnt. When you get lucky and the pizza is cooked appropriately it is an acceptable and modest pie. We have also tried the buffalo chicken quesadillas and I have to say not bad. Something I probably would not have considered ordering from thus establishment had it not been mentioned in a Unilocal tip. The power of Unilocal

Bad bad move for the new owners. Ever since this place changed owners, it has gone down hill. Bought two large pies last week and the bottom was completely burnt. I am a man of second chances and this week… burnt again. Either get someone who knows how to cook a pie or resell back to the old owners. Truly yours, A havertown native.

So hopeful and yet so disappointed! I’ll start with the positives… 1. The staff were super friendly! When I called they were very personable on the phone. When I picked up my order the woman at the register was very nice. Once I gave my name for the order another guy behind the counter greeted me by name as well. Very impressed with their customer service. 2. I ordered a garden salad. It was very fresh and delicious! It was well topped with a variety of veggies(roasted peppers, Greek olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions). Just delicious! However the pizza… which is why we got dinner there… Is where it all fell apart. We wanted a margarita pizza which we couldn’t get at our usual pizza place so we decided to try somewhere new. That’s when we saw the great ratings for Nick’s(which is super close to our house too). There was even a Unilocal review on how good their margarita pizza was specifically, so we thought we made a good choice. When we got home and broke open the box we came to see a pizza that was basically all sauce. There were a few small piece of cheese or basil but maybe one on each slice and it was tiny! Definitely not enough topping. The crust was all uneven and the majority of the pizza was burnt. If I hadn’t been so tired and hungry I would have gone back and returned the pizza it was so bad. We couldn’t eat half of it because the crust and the bottom of the slices were burnt to the point they were crumbling. We were so disappointing. My husband and I are both big fans of local pizzerias and not big fans of chain pizza places. However we would have both preferred chain pizza over this one. We agreed that this was probably the worst pizza we had ever had. With the good reviews for this place I’m hoping the bad pizza we got from here was a fluke. I’d like to try one more time and maybe get a different pizza from here to see if it might be any better.

Best mozzarella sticks in Havertown! I’m also partial to the tuna melts, which come open-faced with plenty of tuna and cheese on crisped bread… Yum! I consider myself a tuna melt aficionado and Nick’s had the best I’ve had in Havertown! Prompt delivery and pickup, and their staff is really nice to boot.

I ordered from here today for the first time. We had a LG cheese pizza, cheesesteak and wings. Although the food was very cold, after warming it up it was very good. I will definitely be ordering from them again

Absolutely the BEST boardwalk pizza in Havertown! If you are missing being at the shore and eating pizza on the boardwalk, order from here… you will NOT be disappointed!

In a town with so many pizza shops, Nick ‘s really sticks out! The pizza is delicious, as well as the salads, and the grilled cheese! I had a chicken sandwich the other day that was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly and the place is clean. I will definitely be returning again and again!

My new favorite crust in Havertown. There are a lot of pizza places in Havertown but most of them don’t make a real Italian-style crust. Nick’s calls their’s «Boardwalk Style». It’s crisp on the outside and crewy in the thicker areas. Service/delivery was super fast too. We are looking forward to trying some of their pasta’s and dinner items.

I live right down the street from Nick’s so the boyfriend and I order from here pretty often. We got a tomato pie from there once and weren’t fans, but to be fair, I’m really picky about my pizza. I have yet to have good pizza in Havertown(if any Unilocalers want to point me in the direction of good pizza around here, by all means!). But I digress. This review is about their salads and cheesesteaks. I constantly order the garden salad(with croutons). It’s absolutely delicious. Everything they use is very fresh, from the nice spring mix to the many veggies on top. They also put roasted green and red peppers on top which are delicious. They also include pita bread with your salad which is always a win for me. Boyfriend is a big fan of their cheesesteaks. I never tried one, so I can’t really tell you much about them, but he has never complained. If you’re not sure about stopping in here, you should. At least give it a try. The folks that work there are really friendly. And they make a mean salad. I really want one now.

There are so many pizza places in the Havertown area it’s difficult to choose which one you want on a given night. The spot where Nick’s is now has been a revolving door pizza joint, seemingly with a different name each year. My wife and I decided to try them out last night for the first time. The minute I walked in I noticed the place has been spruced up from the previous venture. It’s still not all that inviting, but it definitely looks a lot better than it did before. The service was great, and my pizza was just coming out of the oven when I arrived, approximately 10 – 15 minutes after I had ordered it(over the phone). It’s the classic thin crust style pizza that is prevalent in the area. I thought the crust was very nice, the exterior was a little crispy with some nice, plump air bubbles, and a soft-chewy interior, but without being too ‘doughy’. The cheese and toppings, including the sauce, were run-of-the-mill. Nothing will jump out at you, but it’s a decent pizza for sure. The price is in line with other pizza places in the area. Trouble is, with so many pizza places around, there’s nothing that sets them apart. I can’t imagine ever saying ‘I feel like having Nick’s pizza tonight.‘ Bottom line, it was a good pizza from a place very near my home. I’ll definitely try them again.

These guys opened yesterday! They are the little shop right next to the McD’s. It’s changed hands several times and now it’s Nick’s. Speaking of Nick, he introduced himself and seemed like a genuinely nice guy. They have done a major remodel on the place and it looks quite different. The previous owner had a beer license and that appears to be gone. It was a small disappointment but understandable as the expense is significant. I ordered the small(12 in.) white pizza for $ 7.95. Toppings were $ 1.50 each and I went with chicken, broccoli, and mushroom. It was cooked and ready quickly. Before I left I was given a large serving of complimentary fruit salad to go. It was probably something to do with their recent opening and much appreciated. Once I arrived home the lovely wife and I chowed down. The pizza was cooked properly. The amount of toppings was great. Most importantly, especially for a white pizza, it was not greasy. This was a solid tasty pizza that I would order again with no problems. By the way, the wife declared the complimentary fruit salad nice and fresh. So for a first visit I give these guys a solid A-OK and three stars. I’ll be back to try their other offerings.
