Nasty inside. Ketchup thing never works. Workers are weird. Hopefully they knock it down and rebuild and modernize it some. Hopefully.

By far the WORST McDonalds around your order is never what you order, the staff is horrendous, ignorant, unfriendly everything you would expect from a fast food employee I guess… it’s to the point where it is worth it for me to drive 10 minutes further down the road to then next McDonald’s where they repeat your order back to you to make sure it is correct. Save your self the aggravation and go to a different fast food place… side note it baffles me when they say cert isn’t items may take a few minuets to make… Maybe it’s just me expecting too much all around

Seems fine. I’m a drive-thru guy so I can’t really comment on inside. The drive/they has gotten better over the years. Haven’t had any real mix ups often enough to care. People are friendly. I think I had a birthday party here when I was a kid. What’s not to like? Oh, that drive lane in the front of the building is super tight. I always feel like I’m gonna hit something. Other than that, this place is fine.

11AM Sunday morning, when lunch starts I ordered 2 cheeseburgers in the drive thru. They told me they didn’t have cheeseburgers… I parked and went inside and ordered 2 cheese burgers… After standing there for 5 minutes I asked for the manager and said, «all I ordered was 2 cheese burgers» she gave me attitude and said they weren’t ready yet… Funny how for 30 years McDonald’s always gave you a problem for ordering breakfast after 11AM, and ironically I couldn’t get lunch after 11AM… I stood there another 5 minutes still no cheeseburgers. The manager didn’t care, and I knew at that point they just were not going to give me my order. Finally the poor girl at the register gave me a bag and I stormed out… When I sat down in my car and opened it was a Big Mac! I had to laugh. In the event anyone ever reads this, it was in November 2015 and was a Sunday… And the manager, well she was a jerk.

Do I have to give a star? Most disgusting mcdonalds I’ve ever been to in my life. I could elaborate but what’s the point. Every inch of the place is filthy.

Great service. They are very caring. I take my child there once a week and he is so excited to see all the employees and play in the playground. The service is fast and the food is alway above expectation. The other day my son dropped his hamburger on the floor and be gain crying the manager(a young male) was so kind to give him a new burger.

I have a friend that divides restaurants into four categories; Fuel, Food, Dining and Cuisine. MickyD’s is fuel. They are beloved by millions and reviled by millions more. This one gets the job done but just barely. It’s not always clean and the fuel(food) is not always hot. Like most McDonalds it has a drive-thru. If you are in the mood for some fun, here are some hilarious little twists to the typical drive-thru experience. 1. Drive through the drive-thru in reverse and let your passenger order. 2. Order a cup of water and two napkins. That’s it. 3. When they hand you your food, hand them a bag with the trash from your car in it. 4. When asked if they can take your order, say you are just window-shopping and drive on. 5. When asked if they can take your order say, «Why, can I take yours?» Try #1 and #2 together. The employees will be talking about it for weeks!

McDonald’s food is the same everywhere, so there’s no issue with that(aside from the fact that I eat it at all, that is). The restaurant itself is awkward and disgustingly poorly maintained. I still shudder at the thought that my kid actually played in that Playland out front(the one with the Alcatraz bars and the lovely view/sounds/aroma of West Chester Pike) when she was younger. But the main issue with Havertown’s McDonald’s is the sheer incompetence of the staff. We generally try to avoid McDonald’ses, but every once in awhile the day gets away from us, it’s late, and we’re too tired and/or lazy to prepare actual FOOD and too hungry to wait for delivery of anything decent. So, despite knowing better, we find ourselves making the short trip to this McDonald’s. I’d conservatively estimate that about 60%-70% of our visits to this McDonald’s involve at least one(and often all three) of the following: (1) Employees getting order wrong (2) Getting to the second window of the drive-through and being told to «just pull up there while we finish your order…»(the«there» in question is just ahead of the drive-through lane, immediately to the right of the squalid Playland [circa 1970 – uncleaned and unupdated since 1970], and perilously close to any traffic leaving the back parking lot and/or the drive-through) (3) Employees giving wrong change For the most part, the employees seem to be high school kids – some of them are friendly, at least, and a good deal more of them have the smart-ass, can’t-be-bothered thing going on(which is fine – we’ve all been there). But, seriously, even given that this is a McDonald’s we’re talking about, the level of incompetence is startling. Really, it’s almost IMPRESSIVE how consistently awful the service here is. You’d think that random chance alone would let these guys achieve a higher rate of getting orders right…
