This by far is the worst organization to take your child to in Philadelphia. My experience started off three years ago when my pediatrician suggested I go here. After a 6 – 8 month wait, we were charged for an intake meeting $ 75 with no follow up… ever. My son continued to experience problems and we paid a lot of money to go to another organization outside of this one. They gave us a report and again we went to the pediatrician for support based on their report. Since it wasn’t from Child Guidance they wouldn’t help us and again put us back into the cycle of waiting. After a few months, they called us back and actually assigned us a counselor this time. They completely ignored the report we had and provided my son care we knew wouldn’t work. After months of poor care they finally came to the realization that maybe they should diagnosis him professionally with a real doctor. That real doctor took months to see and when they finally did see him, they completely and totally misdiagnosed him with a horrible, stigmatizing disorder. When I asked for help to even manage this disorder they would not support me. When I asked for what to do next or who to call they left me and my son completely out to dry. Since my experience I’ve learned that a lot of people have the same level of treatment at this organization. For the sake of your child… do not go here. They will take your money, not listen to you as a parent, and ultimately hurt your child by mistreating them and misdiagnosis.

This place is OK the therapist my son has is wonderful. The lady at the front desk on the left to be clear cause there are 2 is less then nice and nice is an understatement. She always has some kind of scowl on her face like she hates her job and every encounter I have with her which is every week she is Rude!!! It makes me not want to take my son there cause I have to look @that every time it’s exhausting. This is a place for children and the parents are going through enough. Give me a break it’s the first thing you see and the first person you meet. Lighten up lady. I question if you like your job. Nevermind their both rude. They act like their so bz just to ignore you.
