Out of all the sub shops in the area I would rate Giovannis as the best. Always get it right. Never unsatisfied. The staff is very friendly and polite. They deliver fast. There’s not anything bad I can say about the place. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I give this place two stars because other than their pizza is not exactly the kind I like or love at all because I’m a fan of REALNY style pizza and well my choice ultimately is cheese only and it has to have a balance of cheese and sauce not caked on cheese and not enough sauce and the dough I’m not a fan of… The other thing that’s a downer about this place is that whenever I order from them they always and I mean ALWAYS forget about my appetizer which of course by the time I get them it’s cold and soggy and they charged me for it making it really their fault they should be making it up by redoing the appetizer or give me my money back.

Been coming here for few years now. Good food and great service. Good choices on menu. I normally order buffalo chicken Calzon, it’s very tasty and good size. Plenty of parking, service is fast and accurate. I am definitely a regular here.

Usually order from the River st one. Made a mistake and ordered from main st. Had to clarify my order multiple times. Was not confidant I’d get the right things. Took an hour to get our delivery and the food was cold. Called to express displeasure and was told they would refund the order. 20 minutes later get a call from them stating they can’t refund the $$ girl who answered the phone was new. No wonder I got the wrong items on top of it being cold. Was also told we call to complain to often and she started arguing with us. I tried to explain we have never ordered from main st so how could we call and complain. Regardless was treated very unprofessionally and rudely. Won’t be ordering from main at again and if it’s the same owners on River they won’t get my business either!

We order a half tray of chicken parm and a half tray of chicken, broccoli and ziti Alfredo for Christmas Eve every year. It comes with garlic bread. All of our guests love the food. It is always packed well, and the service is great.

This is my husband and I’s go-to place for takeout pizza in Haverhill. Nothing fancy for sure but it hits the spot if you’re in the mood for some seriously cheesy pizza!

We had been ordering from here for a while and the food was always pretty good. My husband ordered a steak bomb and it was more like a GREASE bomb. We called to let them know, and did not think it would be a problem to get another sub. Instead, they argued with us and said that is how the sub it always made– this is coming from the Supervisor. We will definitely NOT be giving them our business again– their customer service is TERRIBLE

First time coming here they burned my steak sub and it was very messy. The curly fries were great so I decided to give them another try, BIGMISTAKE! The manager keeps touching money and taking orders with his ONE glove on then goes to make food using only ONE glove! That is disgusting and he needs to be talked to! I get their veggie wrap when I go here. I ask for it with the steamed mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, and peppers only in the pita bread as I’m a vegan, and they’re very accommodating. I’ll order the wrap over the phone or once I get there. Either way, they get it out to me fast. Frequently, I’ll arrive early when I call in an order, and it’s already prepared. The people who work there are friendly too.

Giovanni’s has the best pizza in Haverhill. I also adore their roast beef sandwiches. Their eggplant parm pizza used to be delicious but then they started serving the eggplant soggy instead of crispy, but really that isn’t much of a complaint. Overall I prefer Giovannis to any other pizza/sub joint in Haverhill.

I got a sub late nite here and it was very yummy– they had a good take on the grilled veggie sub, which was refreshing!(broccoli, spinach, mushroom, and peppers, with swiss) However, it was made terribly. more like a cyclone mess than a wrap. I had to eat it with a fork. The Mr. got a chicken finger sub which was also decent but messy. they made the subs to go when we wanted to eat there, but they were about to close so I understand. Overall a yummy date.

LOVE their chicken kabob salads… have them almost once a week, particularly on the nights when we don’t feel like cooking. Great homemade-like dressing with a ton of chicken.(And the take out containers are great for reusable containers) Their garlic bread is way to buttery. On a few occasions we have received grizzily chicken and the heart of the salads.
