Foucault Greg Appliance

I Greg Foucault Appliance last week and then once or twice at least several years ago. They are always professional, courteous, prompt, and I have never felt that they tried to oversell me by drawing out a repair, adding unnecessary parts, etc. I will definitely shop where when I (eventually) need to replace my appliances. The $ 99 service call fee may seem a bit high, but when you get a 2 hour arrival estimate (versus 5 hours), the guy is on time, respectful of your home, and does a great job, well then it is totally worth it!

Phoned re replacement of stove control panel. Was told a $ 99 service call fee would be applied to repair cost. Serviceman arrived mid morning the next day. Copied down #s that we had already supplied over the phone. He made a phone call and told us the part has not been available for 2 years. Asked for the $ 99 we refused said he might be able to discount it to $ 79 again we thought this was unreasonable. He left the owner called late that afternoon was very rude and threatened us with court action if we did not pay. Finally ended call by giving us the evening to decide and he would call back the next day. He called back early afternoon the next day to tell us he had found the part. We had gone out that morning on the advice of his serviceman and bought a new stove. The owner asked us to cancel the order for the new stove we refused not having very much faith after our previous conversations. We told him we would give what we could each month because we now had new stove to pay for. He said his business was COD. Again he was rude and sarcastic referring to our age. We are elderly but refuse to be scammed by any one.

They’ve always been prompt and done a good job. My high review is because on one occasion the service man noticed an electrical problem with our dishwasher hookup that had a real fire danger and fixed it on the spot.
In general they do a good competent job. Their prices are typical, neither very high or low.

We ordered a microwave and dishwasher from here and you can’t beat the prices! The owner is a great guy and really does his best for his customers with prices and services. The delivery fee is beyond reasonable and he stands behind his products. I do have one complaint, however, and that regards the girl that works for him in the store, she is exceptionally unfriendly and rather rude. Her attitude takes so much away from the bussiness. But if you can look beyond that you will be satisfied.
