Arty’s Roast Beef & Pizza

Childhood favorite, you can’t get much better than Arty’s. The fring has been an order staple in my house! It’s the only thing that keeps everyone happy! The roast beef is freaking awesome, the subs are daaaank. Really good lunch specials too.

The food here is very good. They have the best roast beef ever! Their pizza is really good too. But the reason for the three stars is that they no longer delivered during the day. Also, the past two times I have called, they have someone that doesn’t speak English trying to take orders over the phone. This makes trying to place an order unnecessarily stressful. But if you just going to place the order yourself, I am sure you’ll be happy with the food.

Love this place. Love the deals and the food is great. Every worker there has been very friendly. Never had any issues with any orders including pickup or delivery.
So do I recommend this place. Hecks Ya!

I’ve gotten pizza from here twice and both times it has been delicious. I had a craving for sweet sauce pizza and searched in the Amesbury/​Merrimac/​Haverhill area. The sauce is very sweet and delicious; just what I wanted.
A large (18″ or so) with one topping and two 20oz drinks came out to ~$ 14, so you can’t beat the price either.

I’ve ordered here 3 times so far and have been pleased with what I got.
The $ 5 pizza night is what brought us in and has won my vote for best in Haverhill so far.
I consider myself a spoiled pizza snob, having grown up just outside of Boston and had the best pizza’s around there. Tonight we tried the sweet pizza, and besides the crust, it was very near the taste of Bianchi’s Pizza on Revere Beach.
The roast beef sandwich I had last week was good but, I have a favorite place I would rather travel a little longer to get my roast beef fix. The fries were the thick steak fries in which I did enjoy with my mountain of ketchup.
As far as service goes, we have not had any issues.

Found this place on Unilocal so we ordered delivery pizza. The MeatLovers & Eggplant with sweet sauce were really good and delivery was fast. Will definately Oder from here again.

Quick delivery, order was right. Got greek salad (it was huge) and the sweet sauce pizza. Yum. My parents love it here so I checked them out a couple other times. I’ve had better italian subs & chicken parm, but not too shabby! I may go back

I went there on a saturday with my son after reading the good reviews. The place was pretty dead. Service was very slow, the place didn’t seem very clean and the food was disappointing. I probably wouldn’t go back.

ordered for delivery and it came in 20 minutes. Great taste. Sweet Sauce Eggplant Pizza. This place is a front runner for best pizza in Haverhill. The pizza is huge and reasonably priced. I will go back for more!

located in a former Dunkin Donuts (newer DD located next door) and offers sweet and traditional sauce pizza (12″ & 16″). Grande Cheese is used on the pizza.
This shop also offers roast beef sandwiches, burgers, salads, pasta dinners, seafood, fried foods, chicken, steak tips, brownies, cookies, and Coke products. The cutlets are homemade. A kids menu and lunch specials are offered including a large beef, chips, and soda ($ 5.75).
I decided to stop here to try out the sweet sauce pizza since I do enjoy my pizza with a sweeter sauce once in a while. I ordered a 12″ Eggplant (Sweet Sauce) Pizza ($ 6.99 plus tax), which was ready in about 10 minutes. They were not kidding about the SWEET sauce! The sauce was indeed very SWEET and tasted like a familiar banana ketchup I’ve used with Filipino food. The crust was good, soft doughy and firm outside, though the slices were not cut evenly. The pizza was topped with a generous amount of thin breaded eggplant slices for the ultimate sweet taste all around. I could’ve ordered pineapple topping to be even sweeter.
