The End Zone

The Zone has been a landmark in Hattiesburg for decades. It used to be much smaller in after the fire several years ago it was remodeled and lost some of that quaint dive bar appeal.
Make no mistake, this still is a dive bar. The food is much better than it used to be, and the beer selection is decent for this type of establishment.
I dislike the Sonic Drive In type of ice when drinking whiskey because it waters down your drink immediately.
The crowd is a mixture of college age students and older adults, so it is a nice place to stop at any age. Be sure to wear some old shoes as the floor is nasty and extremely sticky. It feels as if it hasn’t been mopped in years. There is also one toilet which seems to always have a line and the bathroom is not very clean.

Been coming here for years. The food is awesome. Enjoy watching people see the portions for the first time. Great atmosphere and good times.

They have decent food. i usually got the chicken tenders or chicken tender poboy with fries. but the cooks look shaggy all the time and don’t wear gloves

Not a fan at all. Watched as they put already done burger (precooked, non-​seasoned, pretty sure previously frozen) burger on open fire to heat it up and I’m sure give it a grilled flavor. Not my idea of cooked to order and fresh. And workers don’t abide by cleanliness rules.

Visiting Hattiesburg for a football game, and we came to the End Zone before and after the game. Large place, ultra-​local scene, with friendly service and welcoming attitudes from the staff and locals alike. It is the college student hang-​out for the Southern Miss crowd; our group had a wide range of ages and we all enjoyed ourselves. Saturday afternoon the crowd wasnt overwhelming; late Saturday the place was jammed. I would recommend this place a highlight of Hattiesburg, and since there isnt much else to the town, I’m giving it 4 stars.

Best hamburgers in town. Great bartenders. A fun place for lunch or supper. I have never been to the pool table room late so don’t know about it.

The endzone is like my second home to me. I love the staff and the food is amazing. Beer is very cheap and the atmosphere makes the endzone unique. I highly recommend this bar for someone who is looking for a great sports bar.

Even though the beer prices went up from $ 1 to $ 1.50 a couple years ago, you still can’t beat the End Zone’s draft selection and prices. The food is top-​notch on the bar food scale, and there are plenty of TVs showing whatever sport you want to watch.
