Second best poboys in town after Peter’s Poboys. Is open more hours than Peter’s though. They put tons of shrimp on the poboys. Fast service. Order at counter.

Best Olive Salad I’ve had in a long time. Solid mirepoix, fresh, crunchy…
The muff was okay. The bread was not great and the meat was too thin to stand up to a great olive salad. I’d still order it again, but it’s not up to New Orleans standards. Still. Great olive salad.
I got a side of fries. Don’t do that. They’re the kind you find in an elementary school cafeteria in a wax paper bag. Frozen and disgusting. Honestly, just a bag of Zapps would have boosted my rating. Those were clearly an after thought.
The oyster PoBoy, was perfect. Flaky New Orleans style bread with the right amount of chew and pull. The oysters were perfect. A solid crunch that didn’t get into the way of the briny oyster flavor. I got mine dressed and, (this is not a slam) I added a little more heat. That’s a personal call. Even the tomatoes were firm and we’re a few months out from tomato season.
These guys care about their food. Just dump those fries and stack the muffs like you want them to be remembered.

Very casual lunch or dinner place with excellent tasting of food! They mostly serves all kinds of poboys and fried sides. You never sorry to come to this place. My fave picks have been always half shrimp poboy or half steak bomb poboy with gravy cheese fries on the side! The best.

15 years of eating at this restaurant and I’ve never had a bad meal… The muffalatta is the best in a hundred and 50 mile radius… Specialty bread, it is huge and two meals by itself.
The Steak Bomb with fried shrimp is another can’t miss sandwich. Beer battered onion rings and wedge cut Po-​taters are available for sides.

The hammerhead is awesome! Forget Subway and get a real po boy from Po Boy Express.
With two locations in Hattiesburg, it’s convenient, quick, reasonably priced, and tasty. I’ve never been disappointed.

We were in Hattiesburg near the university and looking for a good po boy. Checking Unilocal lead us here, and we wern’t disappointed.
It is located in an old strip center, ordering is counter service. All bread is baked fresh throughout the day.
There was a menu of many options and the employee described several po boy sandwiches and finally describes the Hammerhead po boy w roast beef, ham, provolone n brown gravy. Ok… sold, lets give it a try.
We were one of a few dining at a picnic table, surrounded by local football memorabilia and SEC football helmets, although during the regular college session, I am sure they are quite busy.
The home made, thick-​cut potato chips were cooked when ordeded, crunchy and tasty. The Po boy was tasty and fresh and drowned in gravy… enough said!

This is a basic po boy shop that serves very good po boys at low prices. Their large po boys are huge (about 12″) and very filling. The large ones are 9.95 each and a lot of food. I think their best one is called the steak bomb. Interior is plain with picnic tables to eat on. Regular fries are frozen but the po taters are really good and their homemade potato chips.

I always order the shrimp poboy, it’s usually okay. I have not been here in a while, the staff are pretty young and immature.

My sis ordered here so I thought I would eat here since her poboy, patatoe logs and jalapeño poppers were good.

This place has an amazing steak bomb sandwich which includes some shrimp on it. The staff was really nice, but the décor a little outdated.
I’m all about the food and staff so I will be back here. Also, they were inexpensive.

Delivery so fast, the delivery guy brought it directly to my office cubicle!

The best Po-​Boys I’ve ever had. They have a nice variety that many rave about: roast beef, shrimp, the steak bomb, muffaletta. My favorite is the Pizza Steak. Freaking delicous.
