My fiancée’s company’s summer picnic was here and I finally made it out here. Last year, I had business trip so missed it. However, I am glad to have visited here this year. The weather was perfect and nice to see what a nice venue to have a company event. The pavilion shed was huge and provided nice shade. We visited the indoor exhibits and saw eagles and falcons through the window. Afterwards, we took a personal golf cart tour of the trails. Wren, an intern, gave us a wonderful tour of the grounds. We walked the trails afterwards and it was the perfect day. We got a beautiful view of the river and boats. In the end, we were satisfied with all the activities around the park. We will try to visit here again in the summer.

Privately supported nature center with great kids programs (birthdays are fun as is the spring maple syruping). Nice walkways and views of the St. Croix. Hard to find places like this that are entirely privately supported… go, enjoy, and then become a supporter!
