Every time I am there they mess something up. No cheese on sandwich. Coffee was awful. Oj watered down. Awful.

If you happen to be driving along Rt 17 South towards Hudson County and have an appetite you have to stop at the Golden Arches. This is the only Mickey Ds I’ve seen remodeled. There’s an Internet Café with plug outlets, the Seats have Leather and the Men’s Restroom has granite counter tops. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the Restaurant. The only gripe I had was that this specific McDonald’s didn’t have Pricing for a 20 piece McNuggets Meals.

It’s McDonalds. Consistently mediocre is their hallmark. If your expectations are no higher than that, you won’t be disappointed. Open at 6am and one of the closest«restaurants» to the Holiday Inn. The hotel has a shuttle, but you can walk next door to this place. If they’d open at 5am, I’d consider giving them another star.

This McDonalds looked pretty cool, I’ve never seen an «internet café» thing going on in a McDonalds, ever, but this place has one– okay, nice. The staff is pretty weird here, it took a very confused looking manager and a slack-jawed cashier to put our order together. Anyway, whatever, it’s McDonalds.

They did a nice remodel on this McDonalds. There’s an Internet area with electric outlets, if your so inclined to want to hang out at Mickey d’s and surf the web. The place has a nice modern look and I liked the airplane photos… Teterboro airport is a few blocks away. I just can’t get over the fact that my hamburger is heated up in some kind of contraption and not cooked on a grill. I just started noticing this recently… they put the patty in a small cubicle to cook… is it microwaved? I have no idea. At least FiveGuys and even White Castle you can see your burger being cooked. I still eat here but only out of convenience.

I’m sorry, but this is going to be the stupidist review I’ll ever give(I hope). The sausage, egg and cheese McGriddle breakfast sandwich is one of the best fast food morning fares in the world. I just love them. Especially when they are on sale for 2 for $ 3.00. Then if you want to get crazy get the strawberry/banana smoothy to go with it. You’ll never have a more rewarding $ 5.00ish breakfast. The coffee ain’t half bad either. But I usually head over to Starbucks for that.

Note: Drive thru only My husband and I have been on a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge spree after kicking a very heavy Pinkberry habit! This McDonald’s gave us the 2 window treatment: pay at one, get your food at the other. We were very excited when our sundaes appeared in the window. Judging by the amount of dark brown gooeyness we saw on the top and bottom of the sundae, it was gonna be great! SURPRISE! This was the chewiest hot fudge I’ve ever had! It’s not supposed to be chewy! My husband was kind enough to wait until after we were finished to tell me that chewy equals old! Yuch!
