Pricey, but food was ok. Way too much to spend for lunch and we got just about the cheapest thing on the menu. Unusual food offerings, like alligator and buffalo but priced accordingly. Next to school bus lot, nothing to look at.

We will keep coming back! My husband is Mr. Adventurous and has loved every dish he’s tried. I always order the Athens Shrimp. It’s never been the same twice, but it’s awesome every time. I always have at least one serving for leftovers. Swamp medley, Cajun popcorn, any flavor wings, alligator tenders, catfish, escargot, and much more are all great choices. Even the burgers and fries are good!

What is there to say… Hands down the absolute best chicken wings in the world. I have been eating here for the last 5 years and the only disappointment I’ve experienced is on Monday and Tuesday’s because they are closed. The ribs excellent. The vinegar chips excellent. The burgers unreal. The beer always cold. If I didn’t live an hour away I would eat here every week. Even living an hour away I make it a point to come here once a month. Don’t be fooled you won’t be disappointed.

Because of our last name(personal joke) we were told that we probably shouldn’t go here. So glad we took the chance & tried«The landing zone» We have gone numerous times & have been thrilled each time. We continue to bring friends back for a fun, kicked back delicious meal. The chef /owner is a amazing talented chef that our area is so lucky to have. Everything from appetizers to bbq or burgers are prepared perfectly. His choice of spices and sauces are truly wonderful. His heirloom garden tomatoes that he grows himself are amazing in a salad. This is my favorite place to have a beer & kick back after a stressful week . If you are a bit picky, high maintenance person you might not like this place — but if you are a fan of Andrew Zimmer then by all means get your butt here!!! Last but not least, he has a great staff. So go here with a open mind & without a tight schedule and it will quickly become a favorite haunt.

I’ll keep it simple. I love there wings, that’s why I always go back, but it’s pricey and I think they’ve shrunk there serving size. They’re struggling, you can tell by the revised serving sizes, but I’ll keep going back. That’s how much I enjoy their wings.

Our family ate there — 4 different meals — all terrible. The PO Boy sandwich sat like a lump in my stomach all night. The spices were overdone and off. Sloppy presentation. I don’t mind the décor of the restaurant — it is very interesting — but the place needs a good cleaning.

I’ve made three trips to the Landing Zone this year and each one is better than the one before. For a small place the menu is amazingly large and diverse but no matter what you order the food is outstanding! Though I haven’t engulfed myself, two fellow riders have had Dianna’s Bloody Mary’s and say they’re positively delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Horrible experience, awful service. Po’ Boy tastes better at Pop Eye’s and clam chowder was very bland. There were only two tables including ours and yet it took 40 minutes for the food to come out. Lettuce on my sandwich had a black edge. Yuck!

Went there tonight by chance and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The place isn’t fancy, but it’s down to earth. My seafood was extremely fresh and the fries/chips aren’t out of the freezer. Fresh to order and the best anywhere, I guarantee it! I can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu, everything looked amazing. Definitely 5 stars for food, value, quality and friendliness. This food would have been right at home at any fancy restaurant at 3x the price. See you again soon! –bob

This is a secret little hole in the wall serving quite a selection of cajun style eats. Its a lengthy menu! Its not very big so you might end up waiting a bit for a table but if you are lucky there might be a spot at the very short bar. Its not as well kept as some might prefer but it really sets the ambiance. Im curious to see the kitchen… ok, maybe not. But the food is delicious w generous servings and completely unique flair. Service was very good as well. A little pricey but expected w such a unique menu. We will be back!

All the food is excellent, the Tuscan Rosemary wings, fried pickles, Delta catfish sandwich, chicken quesadilla(can feed 4), mozzarella salad and the grilled pastrami sandwich. Quality of ingredients is superb, taste and all other things you want on a plate from a good restaurant Then there is the service, almost walked out because there was nobody to greet us or even let us know they were open. Then after being seated, waitstaff disappeared. Next was to run out of draft beers listed as «specials». Shall I mention the building gives you the feeling it is sinking from east to west?

This place is great! Really diverse menu. Everything made fresh, so it could take awhile. Beer selection is awesome! Not a fancy place by any means, but the décor is fun. Lot’s of planes hanging from the ceiling, autographs and pictures and writings on the walls. Definitely worth trying!

This is my second review of this place. The first review wasn’t great. I haven’t been back but have received two harassing messages from the owner. So Joe, if you actually had a clean restaurant that wasn’t disgusting you still wouldn’t get a good review from me. Yes I did work at chilis. 14 years ago, when I was a teenager. Calling my boyfriend a mess, very classy. Sending me harassing message about a review written a year and a half ago, classy AND mature. I also love how you wrote this message to me pretending to be a customer just like how you review your own restaurant. Congratulations on having a business despite your clearly questionable ethics. You should be proud. I wonder if you write nasty messages to everyone who writes a bad review. I didn’t even detail how the menus were so sticky the pages were stuck together and I had to wash my hands after touching. I didn’t say anything about the thick layer of dust and grease every where. And I also chose to ignore your first nasty message. I thought I was being the bigger person. But clearly you are an antagonist. To anyone who would like to see the sweet note I just received from the owner I posted in the photos. I wish I kept the first message he sent me. It was a gem.

So for 3 months I would drive by this place on my way home from work awaiting the day I had the chance to check it out. Well that day finally arrived when the power went out for a near full day in Bantam, we were hungry as dinner was approaching so I saw this as an opportunity! When you pull in, it kinda looks like a giant mobile home. surrounded by a picket fence which is adorned with various street/traffic signs. Inside to the right is the smallest, darkest dive bar Ive ever seen. No comment as we did not venture in. We were there to eat. The dining room was a decent size, walls decorated with newspaper articles, license plates, photos, more traffic/street signs. The theme was definitely Louisiana/CajunLots to look at. Cafeteria type tables and chairs. nothing fancy. The menu is quite extensive and unique, again a very big focus on cajun but believe me there is somethign for everyone if you’re not looking to eat frogs legs, crawfish or alligator. We opted for the wing special — Rosemary. Presentation and taste were fantastic. Then I decided on the chili topped pasta that was listed as an appetizer.#1. this was a meal, not an appetizer. i’m just saying. #2 it was good but after the Rosemary wings I expected better. The chili was just bland. Anyway, the service was great, the Rosemary wings were above and beyond good that I am eager to go back and try other things.
