TWOWORDS: THEBREAD! The bread and butter is the life and soul of this restaurant. The only reason I drive all the way to the WestBank is for the bread. The food is okay, regular American food. Nothing is super amazing. I do love the crispy chicken salad which totally defeats the purpose of eating salad. The steak, ribs, chicken are all okay. Otherwise? They quit the bread? I quit coming. I’m a sucker for carbs. Texas Roadhouse will always be the queen of complimentary table food.

We had a party of 8 and got there at 6 on a Saturday night. People everywhere outside waiting, but we were seated in less than 30 minutes. The food was great. We ordered steaks of course and they were cooked perfectly. The house salad had eggs in it which we love. I wish places would stop with the throwing peanut shells on the floor. It’s disgusting and makes for a wobbly walk(in heels) to your table or the bathroom. We called ahead to see if they take reservations and the employee said yes, but told us to be there 30 minutes earlier than our requested time. I thought, um, so you don’t take reservations? No problem, though. The food was good and that’s what matters. Oh, and please clean your menus every once in a while. They are so greasy! Thank God for hand sanitizer! And the dude making balloon creations for donations, ask him to clean his menu of balloons also. They’re equally as greasy!

We did take out and I was impressed! Everything was neatly in their own containers. No spillage of my sauces and dressings. I had the blossom and a salad. Jeff had a steak. Everything was cooked perfect and we enjoyed the fine in quality food with our TV trays and pajamas! Definitely moved into our regular take out options!

I don’t normally do chains especially for steak but Texas Roadhouse is one of the few exceptions. This is by far not my favorite location but thankfully the food is still good just the same. I started with a cup of chili as an appetizer and the chili is one of the best you can get this side of Texas. Its thick and rich and the meat is the scraps of the steaks that they trim in the morning so its always in tender chunks, excellent. The ribeye itself was tender and perfectly cooked the backed potato was not the best I have had and I would probably go with another side next time as I found it to be quite dry. Overall for $ 20 it was an excellent meal and one of those that I would do again if I was fortunate to be in the area when there is not a line waiting to get in.

This is the worst place to TRY to eat on the entire West Bank… And there’s a bunch of bad places. I can not even really appropriately articulate how completely inept the lousy staff is at this restaurant. After being told to wait in the middle of a walk way, being nearly run over by two servers, and being left stranded while the hostess walked around trying to figure where she was suppose to bring us, we had no choice but to leave.

Chain restaurants. Eh, but Texas Roadhouse is definitely an exception. I love the food here actually! But, it can also be hit or miss. The service here is also pretty bad. I’ve had more bad servers than good honestly. I’m not sure what it is, but tonight was a pretty good experience despite the long wait. Every time I come here, I always get the New York Strip or The Ft. Worth Ribeye cooked medium well. Well, that’s usually inconsistent. Sometimes I get well done and sometimes it’s perfect! Loaded mashed potatoes, can’t mess up on that. Rewinding a bit, did I mention their bread with the butter is AMAZING?! So good. Other things I’ve tried were the country fried sirloin & country fried chicken. Both are good with the white gravy. Food again is great and pretty reasonably priced. service is hit or miss, but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back. As for my experience today, it was a Sunday so of course it’s packed. Being around dinner time, the wait we were told was 30 – 40 minutes which turned into about an hour, an hour and ten minutes. We were seated and our server came by quickly, took our drink order, and came back to take orders. My mom and i both had salads with our order which didn’t take long at all. After about 20 minutes passed, our server came back once to bring me some more water and take the salad plates, never to be seen again. Another 30 minutes passed and we watched as tables seated after us got their food before us. After waiting another 10, we finally flagged down a manager, I believe, to check on our order and they returned shortly after to apologize and were working on it promptly. I’m glad he took care of us and worked on getting the food out in a timely manner after apologizing several times. Bad experience this time, but I’ll still come back for the food! Call ahead seating is recommended!

I go it often because my dad loves their food! Everyone knows their buns and butter dip is amazing and just delicious! If you go here, make sure to either order steak or ribeye! The price for the steak is decent and you basically get what you pay for! The service is great. Depending on what time of the day you go, you may or may not have to wait if they’re packed. The service is amazing as well! They don’t ever catch attitudes and the atmosphere is perfect for families! Although sometimes their food can be a little too salty, that’s my only complaint.

I could not have been happier last night with the service we received on a busy Saturday night. We were seated at the estimated time and led to our table and promptly presented with delicious rolls with cinnamon butter. Mmmmm good. After receiving our bread, we were cheerfully introduced to our waiter for the evening Charles. I can not say enough good things about this young man who waited on our table. He was courteous, intelligent about the menu, prompt, well groomed, funny, and focused on ensuring that we had the best possible experience in the restaurant. The food was properly prepared though not outstanding. But then again we didn’t pay for outstanding food. But the service — as good or better than I frequently receive at fine dining restaurants. If you choose to go out for a reasonably priced steak and be served by an attentive staff(btw everyone working that night seemed on point) I can strongly recommend this franchise location. Thank you Charles for a great night and to Mr. Guice the front of the house manager for running a good ship.

This was my fist time coming to TRH. After reading reviews, I decided to call for early seating. I’m glad I did. It quickly started to fill up. After we arrived, we waited for about 20 minutes. There were peanuts everywhere. You can eat them and throw them on the floor(I hate that). The food was pretty good, I was shocked. I’m not a big steak eater, but I ordered the sirloin and grilled shrimp with mash potatoes & house salad. The house salad was really good, fresh with boiled eggs, shredded cheese and tomatoes. The steak and shrimp were good too, with freshly made mashed potatoes. Ohhh, and the rolls … So tasty, warm, fluffy with a nice sweet butter brushed on them, with a side of cinnamon butter(delicious). Also, try the Cactus Blossom, it is very good, the batter is delicious.

I’m sure the food would be pretty good if I ever get it hot. Forty five minute wait for a table another 45 minutes for the food. At least four tables of people who came in after us got their food before us. When they finally decided to bring it out it was barely warm. Happens every time we come here.

I enjoyed every piece of my dinner. My waitress Tina Marie was excellent. I recommend this place to you if you are looking for a fun place to eat. Seating was right on time. The place was packed and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. I will return again.

The servers here are *always* cheerful and efficient. We had a great waitress, Dianna, the last time we visited. The food is consistently excellent for a chain. I had very tender prime rib and it melted in my mouth. Also should mention the frozen peach margarita, it was perfection. I can’t say enough good things. I ate a more expensive local steakhouse recently, and I’m sorry to say that the food and service were not as good.

The wait for this restaurant was long when we were here on a Saturday, so we figure it would be very good. Well, it was average as far as ribs are concerned. I don’t think it’s worth the 45 minutes or so wait. We ordered the full rack and some sides. The ribs were definitely well seasoned, and so tender that they fall right off the bones. Now, I know most people like the meat to do that, but I don’t. I know, I’m weird like that. I prefer that it’d be tender enough that it’s soft, but that it stays on the bone when I pick it up. The full rack was also very big, too big for the two of us. We barely finished it and pretty much didn’t finish the sides. Although, we wouldn’t have finished the string beans anyway, even if we weren’t stuffed. They were so overcooked that they’re practically mush. I don’t know about anyone else, but string beans aren’t supposed to totally soft like that. All in all, I wouldn’t go to another Texas Roadhouse now that I’ve been to one. One of the reasons we chose this chain restaurant was because we haven’t seen one in California.

Meh. It is what it is. A chain. Service is hit or miss, usually miss. Food is pretty consistent. There is always a wait even at 930. That being said, don’t go anywhere near closing time even if they are jam packed. They will treat you like shit.

I have done several TRH reviews from out the country and find it interesting how they vary around the country. Since it was Mardi Gras, they were slammed packed even at 9:00pm. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which wasn’t too bad based on all the people waiting. There was a woman who sat next to my husband and asked where the usual peanuts were, so he jumped up to grab her some. The waitress told him they were all out and had been for days, WHAT Texas Roadhouse? No peanuts? Okay, fine, we will let it go. Then once we got seated, we saw full buckets of peanuts on several tables, so not sure about that story. Our waitress was pretty quick to take the order, a little slow on refills, which is common at all TRH locations, so it is what it is there. The steaks came out as ordered and were good, nothing else to ask for. They were still seating people after 10pm with people still waiting to be seated, even though they closed at 10pm, so good for them for realizing they could stay open with the crowds, as we have been places that have the door locked by 10pm and are sweeping the floors around you as you eat,(Colorado location).

It’s a chain… but it’s a chain I like enough to review! TRH is consistent in putting out decent food. The rolls with the cinnamon butter are fantastic, it’s hard not to indulge in one of those. I typically get the 6oz sirloin, medium. You get a choice of 2 sides with that. Caesar salad and baked potato for the win! The best steak you’ve ever eaten? Ok, no it isn’t. The best steak for the price? Probably! You cant get a 6oz sirloin with 2 sides for about $ 10 bucks. That’s pretty damn cheap folks. Obviously this places appeals to the masses, as there is always a wait. You can call ahead and get your name higher up on the list though, so if you are with a larger party that’s a good idea. Side note: the Cactus Blossom appetizer is legit. Get it.
