Ugh my usual place was soooo busy this morning! So I found this place. I give them one star for being nice and price was not bad. I was wondering why this place wasn’t busy on a Saturday morning. They did such a horrible job on my nails. The owner did my nails so I was expecting a phenomenal job. But they came out so bad. The filing job wasn’t horrible. But once she painted them I was literally sitting in the chair about to start crying. I hate complaining and arguing so I chose just not to say anything, and will never return to that place again. Theirs hair on my nails from the brush, the paint is like excessively on the nail, I’ve never ever seen anything like this. So so so so disappointed.

Great nail salon with great prices and great staff! Full UV gel set (fake nails) is $ 35 which is HALF the price of salons in the West Hartford center. All the nail technicians speak fabulous English and are happy to chat with you. Felt like I was hanging out with girlfriends or something :)

This is a great nail salon. I grew up in NY in the 80s and have been to lots of nail places. The staff are professional and funny and there isn’t a long wait even as a walk in in a weekend. Today I got a uv gel manicure and eyebrow wax with autumn and I was very happy.

Just went for my third nail appt and first pedicure and finally ready to write a review. I love this salon! Since my long-​time nail tech retired, I’ve had a hard time (a) finding a salon that does acrylic, and (b) finding a salon that i actually like. I am so happy that I found Jenny and Nail Art & Design (with a little help from Unilocal!). Jenny does a great job on my nails, but the pedicure was something to write home about! I’ve gotten a lot of pedicures in my life and this was far and away the best. Very glad to have found a new salon «home»!

Beautiful pedicure. Friendly staff. Very cute salon. I’m going back tomorrow for a manicure and my eyebrows. I like that the owner told me she would need some time to do the eyebrows, that it is not a rush job. I have been bouncing around from nail salon to nail salon for the past 6 years. I think this one may stick.

Jenny’s place is awesome! I’m new to the area and I’ve been coming here since I moved last summer. Not only is it super affordable, but you also can have a blast with the ladies while youre at the shop. Jenny does my nails to absolute perfection, meeting my every expectation and need (which are different every time I come). Sandy is a true artist. She’s transformed my eyebrows from caterpillars to beautiful arches. I get many compliments. Give it a shot! You won’t regret it :)

I love this nail salon. All the artists do an amazing job, and you will always enjoy a laugh while your there. The owner Jenny is super amazing. I love her and she always knows her clients by name which is a great trait in the business she is in. My nails are always on point when I leave and for 3 weeks straight I will get complaints on the colors and designs. This place also does eyelash extensions. They are so natural looking you will never want to see yourself without them. I encourage anyone who has thought about eyelash extension before but been spectacle to go out and try nail art salon Jenny well do an amazing job for you you will absolutely love them. And she does them for a really great price !!! I love this place for many reasons; most importantly all equipment is cleaned and sterilized with a sterilizer machine, and all the staff are respectful and actually talk to you and not each other while service is being rendered. This is the only place I trust for pedicures as cleanliness, quality and professionalism are all very important to me. And the added bonus is great prices. 5 starts! I drive 20 mins just to come to this place, when I have a nail salon around the corner from me. Ask for jenny or sandy you will not be disappointed !!! Almost forgot jenny does really nice designs !!!

I have had two very positive experiences at this nail salon. The first time I went, my hands were a wreck due to an allergic reaction I was having to latex, and I needed to have my acrylic nails removed. Jenny was not only generous in taking the time to wrap each finger in gauze with the remover, rather than soaking my hands in it. But she was also very kind and sympathetic. The second I came, months later, to have gel nail polish applied, she did a beautiful, professional job which lasted well over three weeks. Once again, she took her time and did a great job. The atmosphere of the salon is intimate and familial, cordial and generous. The work is professional and long-​lasting. I would recommend Jenny and her salon to anyone seeking a beautiful job.

I absolutely love this place! I tried a few salons when I first moved to CT and wasn’t impressed with the quality of the product, the pricing or the service I received elsewhere. When I found Nail Art I was so pleased, I’ve been going back every two weeks for the last 4 years. You cannot beat the prices but the little touches like the hot towel after every manicure and pedicure really put this salon above the rest. The owner is very nice and sociable which makes coming in to get your nails done more like a chance to catch up with a friend. She and her staff are good with designs and are willing to try anything you ask for (I’ve asked for some silly Halloween inspired designs in the past). I give this salon 5 stars because to me it is the whole package. She even does eyelashes and waxing! Even though I moved a Town away I still come back because I know that I will get the quality I have come to expect. I hope you have the same great experience I have had all these years

I had a very negative experience at this nail salon. My friend and I tried it for the first time because they run a special Monday — Wednesday, a mani/​pedi for $ 25, before tax. This sounds too good to be true because it is. I should have left right when we arrived because I could tell that all the small selection of nail polishes was old and not kept well. The pedicure wasn’t good at all. She did the normal filing and buffing, but she got the pink nail polish all over my skin. Normally, that’s fine because they usually clean it off with polish remover, but she left it there! The polish on my toes has already begun to chip only three days later. Also, this was the worst manicure I have ever had in my entire life. The woman haphazardly filed my perfectly square-​round nails into uneven, crooked shapes. It’s like she wasn’t paying attention at all. She ruined 2 months of nail growth in 10 minutes. The polish chipped the same night I got the manicure.
Aside from the poor quality work, the employees were very unprofessional. There were only two women in the salon when we arrived. They were nice at first and made small talk with us, but one woman answered her personal cell phone and had a full conversation while painting my friend’s toes. The other woman’s 12 year old daughter ran into the salon about half way through and they had a very odd conversation. The first woman, who had had the phone call during my friend’s pedicure rushed out and left before the business closed for the day. She left before my friend had even payed to get to her child’s school. Now, I understand having to leave to get your child, but she should not have started and rushed through a job that she could not have completed with quality. Overall, this was a very unprofessional staff.
The entire process only took one hour. Normally, a mani/​pedi would take upwards of 2 hours at any other place. Don’t waste your time at this place. The poor service and quality of work is not worth the price, even with the Monday — Wednesday discount!
