Absolutely horrible. Requested to have highlights done … I could barely see them.(I requested for the owner Anthony himself to do it since my hair has a tendency to go to Red). I thought maybe it’s because I wasn’t specific enough and went for a second time another $ 100 thrown in the garbage. When he washed my hair the own girl that worked there said out loud«HOPEYOU’RE A FANOFORANGEHAIR». This guy gave me orange hair. Instead of a regular dry he blew my hair up like I was about to walk the run way of a Victoria’s Secret model show. My hair was legit 5 inches tall. NEVERAGAIN

great salon. you’re gonna get a good cut here. I only take off a star because it’s just kind of expensive without a groupon(definitely get a groupon). I was hesitant because of the mixed Unilocal reviews and even thought about canceling my appointment… I’m glad I didn’t. as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the nice receptionist, who offered me refreshments(tea, coffee, water and get this… wine!!) I was happy with my glass of red wine while I waited. yoni did my hair. I only wanted my hair conditioned(not shampooed cause my hair is dry from partial bleach). the chairs they wash your hair on are massage chairs! how cool is that. I had a 10 minute auto massage and it was awesome. okay finally to the hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. it pretty much looked like the picture(my bangs were not long enough to get it exactly like the picture) and it was a great cut. actually, the best short hair cut ive ever had. layered beautifully. got my blonde hair and my black hair to blend so my roots don’t show. yoni doesn’t really respond too much but that’s fine because I never know what to say anyway. maybe I just don’t talk loud enough. yoni is a great hair stylist and she took the time to really make sure I was happy. the receptionist lady with the pink hair is nice and probably my favorite person there.

I have finally found my match for a WH hair salon! My hair color finally looks natural. At Anthony Nicole, they are consistent with highlights, hair color and cut. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a «long-term» hair salon(I’ve visited many salons in the center w/o any luck) at an affordable price. Luv this place!

I thoroughly enjoy my bi weekly shellac manicures with Cindy. She shapes me to look stylish and professional and best of all I’m set and dry in less than 30 minutes. The color selection is infinite and I can pick something for whatever mood I’m in.

There’s a decent sized lot behind the establishment. and if you’re a savvy parker, you can parallel park in front of the shop. I also enjoyed the fact that the shop is opened well after 6… A lot of the shops on Park tend to close early. The secretary was way, way kind in accommodating my needs. She took down my name and number and told me it’d be roughly half an hour since the nail tech, Cindy, was working on another customer. No biggie– I ended up walking over to the DDs to buy some time. Come 6:20, Cindy finally saw me. Cindy is such an incredibly kind woman! She was wicked kind when I took nearly five full minutes when picking a gel color. and dealt with my non-existent grasp of the Vietnamese language. Haha! On a more important note, I quite liked the way she cut my cuticles(usually, I’m really not a fan) — it hurt a tad, but really was no big deal and my nail beds looked much better than when I do them myself. I also liked the way she cut/buffed my natural nail. It doesn’t look too square and doesn’t look like butchered. Sadly enough, H was in a rush to head off to the gym, so at 7pm he hurried me out… So I was in/out real quick! Most importantly, it’s been over two weeks and the application is still going strong chip-free! I definitely recommend Cindy if you’re looking to get your nails did!

I was contacted a few months ago by someone at Anthony Nicole salon apologizing for my bad experience and inviting me back for a complimentary shellac manicure. She explained that the woman who did my nails is no longer with them and they have someone else doing nails now. I came in yesterday to give them another shot. Like last time, scheduling was a breeze. Jennifer is extremely pleasant on the phone and returned calls for scheduling in a timely manner. In person, she was equally great to talk with. Cindy did my nails and she was terrific. Personable, professional, and excellent at nails due to her many years of experience combined with her attention to detail. I enjoyed my time with her so much that it went by quickly and before I knew it the manicure was done! I was impressed by the selection of colors available for manicures and pedicures. They had a lot of colors to choose from that are appropriate for the season. Also, there’s regular polish/gel or shellac polish/and even a line of polish that changes color according to temperature! The salon and spa is very nice, clean, and tastefully decorated. I loved the handsoap in their very clean and nice bathroom — a citrusy scrub that makes your hands feel wonderful. A very different and positive experience this time around compared to the last! I had a great time and my nails looks beautiful thanks to Cindy!

I too tried out this salon because of a Groupon deal. I booked my appointment about a month in advance. I’m pretty sure I said that I was coming for a haircut and keratin treatment, but when I arrived, the receptionist asked if I had the shelack still on my nails. I told her I wasn’t here for my nails, but a haircut and keratin treatment. She gave me a horrified, confused look, and asked me if I was sure, then said, «When you said Groupon, I just assumed that you were coming for nails.» The deal was either a nail treatment, or haircut and keratin treatment. Why would she just assume one? I was getting upset because I planned my day around this appointment. She said, «We’re just going to have to reschedule.» I started getting even more mad. Then she excused herself, and came back and said, «Can you come back at 1?» Trying to keep my cool, I said, ok, and left. I live 30 minutes away from this salon, so now my 1 hour on the road has turned into 2, and gas isn’t cheap. They even called me the day before to «confirm» my appointment. Maybe they should confirm what type of appointment you have if you’re a new customer and you have a Groupon that could be one of two deals. When I got home, I noticed I had a voicemail from the salon at 9:00am that morning, looking to reschedule me for 10:30 that morning. I was feeling no love. When I came back, I sat down ad pulled up Unilocal to see what others have experienced. Wow — same exact situation in the other review! I knew that I would be leaving my first review on Unilocal after the appointment was over. I tried looking for coffee to go in the Keurig, and someone came over to try to help, saying they weren’t the receptionist and didn’t know how the machine worked. The owner came over and helped, and I got my cup of joe, finally. My hair stylist was a nice older woman, and we had some lovely conversation. She gave me a nice haircut and keratin treatment, and I like it. The only thing that bothered me was that she kept checking her phone, listening to her voicemails, and telling me that she was going to be late to her next appointment, and would now have to cancel her outing later with her daughter. I thought this was really rude to keep saying to a first time client, especially when my day was altered from their bad scheduling. She actually answered the phone while she was styling my hair, saying, «I’ve got a woman in my chair, and I’ve got to get out of here.» I used to be in the service industry, so I left over 20% on the full pre-Groupon amount for her, and wished her a good day. She told me she would give me a 20% off coupon during the haircut, but must have forgot since she was running late. She said, you too, but now I can’t make it to see my daughter! Really? Wow. I got in the car and noticed that it was now 3:45 pm. Good thing I didn’t have other plans! A haircut that was supposed to start at 11am now took me through to the middle of the day. Good thing I got half-off, because I feel that’s how I was treated. A tip to business owners — if you run a promotion to try to get new customers, make sure they have a good first experience. They will tell tons of people if they don’t, like on Unilocal for instance. They could become new customers, refer other, or the opposite, and deter others.

I was fine with my regular salon until I was tempted with a Groupon offer from Anthony Nicole Salon & Spa. Since I had some Groupon dollars about to expire, I was sold into trying a new salon. The deal included a haircut(washed, blow dry, and styled) and a Keratin deep conditioning treatment for half the price. The deal was less than the cost of just a haircut at my regular hair salon, Acure Eco Salon. The two reviews on Google were positive, so I was confident about booking an appointment. The receptionist said my appointment was a 10 a.m. Saturday morning. I came into the salon at 9:55. When I told the front desk that I was here for the 10 o’clock appointment; though the lady was very cordial, she was confused. She had no idea which stylist I had and neither did I. My stylist, Joni, walked in at 10:30 a.m. I honestly don’t know if it was Joni’s fault for being late or if the receptionist told her that her first appointment was at then. If it wasn’t for that Groupon that I had already paid for, I would have stormed out. Luckily, I was not pressed for time so I patiently waited. In the meantime, the receptionist fixed me a nice cup of hazelnut coffee and there were some interesting tabloids to read. When Joni was finally ready, she walked me to this special sink, where a young male assistant did the Keratin conditioning. I love it because my sink chair was a massaging chair. Then I was walked to a hair dryer, where the assistant wheeled a table so he could place my coffee and magazines. He was very attentive and polite. I showed Joni a photo of a Elisabeth Moss photoshoot and I told her that I wanted my hair to be like hers; which were subtle layers. Though she took her time and the cut was lovely, I don’t think my haircut was anything like the photo. This salon is a very busy salon and was glad to see such a male presence. I have an assumption that most for their clientele is aged 40 and up, and thus, they are used to styles for that age group. I’ll be 29 later this month. Would I go there again or return to my regular salon? I’m not sure, but I liked how I was given a couple of shampoo samples and a coupon for my next visit. No one has complimented my hair at work though.
