Bad Chinese food, ehh Americanized-Chinese food. I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix which is listed as «shrimp in a hot and spicy sauce with General tsaos on the side,» and the Szcheuan Spicy Dumplings. The Dragon entrée simply was not spicy at all. One of their side packets of hot sauce made the entire dish twice as spicy as it initially was. Beyond that, the sauce was far from homemade and instead one of those gelatinous pre-made sauces that the food is simply dropped into, instead of cooked in. Worse, it contained all of 3 shrimp and 6 pieces of chicken amongst a generous portion of Bok choy and other vegetables for a $ 12.95 entrée. Secondly, while it was my fault for misspeaking and ordering«Szcheuan spicy dumplings», the man on the phone could have corrected me said that they were«Szcheuan spicy wontons». Regardless of that fact, each wonton contain maybe a half a tablespoon of filling. Again, simply just not spicy. Overall, this place is the late night Chinese you ordered in college, Americanized as can be.

Ive been ordering from Szechuan for years and they are always consistant. The ingrediants are always really fresh and ive tried almost everything on the menu its all delicious. They have a new dine in area that is gorgeous, great service, beautifully prepares plates. Try the bubble tea it’s delicious as well as the sugar donuts.

Great food. Best Chinese place in Harrison(considering there is only two) We come here a lot and I’m never ever, disappointed. If you want crap Chinese food, go to a pizza place. But if you want good noodles and shrimp, come here. That is my favorite platter. The people are nice and the décor is too. So if your on a roll(like I am on this review) come here. And especially if your car broke down and your waiting at blue chip auto repair. At least I thinks that’s what it’s called!

Just clicked on Unilocal and wrote Chinese food in the search bar and saw this place having good reviews. Was on break from work & wanted to know if there was any good Chinese take-out spots around. They all look the same but there food isn’t. This place made my food really good, I had the common Sesame Chicken with pork fried rice and an Egg Roll, it was nice, hot and delicious, recommend this place, 5 stars

I tried Szechuan Garden for the first time tonight and was totally pleased. Their food is tender and is not overrun with sauce. This will definitely be our go to for take out!

Now we’re talking. Damn good chinese takeout food. The Gen Tsao chicken is very crispy and crunchy, that’s a huge plus. Pork fried rice is flavored just right. The only problem I have, they added too much sugar. It’s too sweet. The eggroll needs a little more filling, too much cabbage, not enough pork. But for 7 bucks, I’m happy.

Excellent quality food for what is basically a take out establishment. Much better than most«sit down» restaurants. One complaint: The owner(a young woman) can be very«testy» at times. She needs to polish her manners.

Solid neighborhood chinese spot — ordered takeout and delivery — both are ready quickly and food is hot and fresh. Combo meals that come with fried rice and eggroll are enough food for 2 – 3 meals so it’s a very good value.
