I LOVE ZIMMERMAN’S. This was my childhood candy store. walking in as a child was like bumping into happiness, and being able to buy it because your mother could afford to. I don’t know about now, but the prices were great, and the variety seemed endless. I went back a few years ago, and felt the same way. I hope this place stays open by the time I have kids!

Zimmerman’s is THE place to go in the Harrisburg area for candy, nuts and dried fruit.
First of all, we should all support local family businesses, and this one has been around for nearly 100 years! Second, the prices are much cheaper than local grocery stores, especially on the dried fruit. Third, the customer service is top notch.
They have bulk candy as well as the regular brand candies, so this is a great place for presents and treats!
PS– try the peanut butter. It’s homemade, kosher, no trans fat or artificial sweeteners. YUM.
