They are beginning to become an institution, much like Starbucks, Mcdonalds, and Tim Hortons(for you Canadian reviewers). I swung in to top off my cycle and grab an MTO on my way to Hershey, looked clean, employees were friendly, the girl making my sandwich didn’t screw it up, so I suppose, it’s a good Sheetz, I mean, really, what more can I say about it.

Pretty decent store, although this locations at Linglestown and Colonial Rd’s feels a bit run down and small. Sheetz is great though, love the«MTO’s», good selection of munchy’s and OK prices. The only complaint is that last time I came in for a munchy run, I take my tasty-cakey-candy items to the check-out, and the older lady ringing me up, altough pleasant and friendly, proceeeds to thoroughly examine each item I was purchasing and comment on them. «ooo what kind of filling is in this tasty-cake pie? mm what are these willy-wonka Kazoozles?» i should have thrown a box of magnum condoms in there to see what she would have said about those. Not as good as Quick-Chek, the holy grail of awesome convenience stores. But just as good as Wawa an that is saying alot.

I normally do not shop or buy anything during Christmas day so but this Sheetz was open anyway and it came in very handy. Everyone working there was pleasant as can be even though they had to work on Christmas. They also had free coffee and cappucino etc. Very impressed…

I’d rather drive over to the Sheetz near the Harrisburg Mall. The line was out the door, two people were on break, and both mine and my fiancé’s MTO food turned out wrong(missing sauce, missing cheese, etc.). I’d love to give this place another try, to see if my experience there was a fluke.

I come to this location several days a week for my coffee fix, ever since they closed the coffee shop in my store. Nothing spectacular, but the service is quick, coffee is cheap and fresh. Sometimes I get a breakfast sandwich. yum. The coffee doesn’t suck like most convenience store coffee does… and they have chocolate creamers…:)

I stopped by the other day to fuel up my vehicle. They had a slightly more competitive gas price than the stores on rt 22 and i was in the area, so i pulled my car in there, went to he gas pump and used my credit card to get fuel. after filling my tank i waited for a receipt… and waited … and waited… none came out, so I had to pick my daughter’s car seat up, walk inside and wait in like for like 5 minutes to ask for a receipt. Prior to this, I never had any bad feelings for this location, i love the MTO, even though it’s not cheap. And I love the huge selection of food available. the only reason i came here was for pay-at-the-pump, commonly called PAP. you swipe your card get a slip and go, no fuss no hassle. Well not at this sheetz, they suck! the cashier finally printed my reciept out without a thank you, sorry, ill change the paper, no nothing, it was sad, there was 1 cashier, and 3 people in the MTO area, one of whom was doing positively nothing the whole time i was standing in line, holding an infant. obviously the words ‘Customer Service’ arent in the training manual at this sheetz.

This Sheetz, compared to the Paxton St. store, is MUCH better. Especially since they now have their lovely french fries. I have to say my only complaint now is that they tuck the wrappers down in the subs where the color bleeds into the meat. Ewww. Other than that, i have never had a problem with the service and food at this Sheetz.

Update: 2÷12÷07 Sheetz no longer carries my phone cards. I hate Sheetz. They can die. Thank you very much. If it was 3 am, Sheetz would get 5 stars, however at this moment I am sober and there are other things open. Famous for being open 24 hours, and their MTOs, Sheetz is like the Wawa of Central and Western PA, and parts of MD. That being said, Wawa is better — because it’s called Wawa. I can always count on Sheetz to be there with a clean bathroom on my way to DC(Gettysburg, Thurmont, and Frederick locations!), but I digress. I like their Sprint Int’l calling cards, because the ones CVS sells don’t work. Their MTOs are ok, but they’re obviously much more delicious when inhebriated. Coffees and stuff leave something to be desired, but for 1 $ or whatever it is, what do you expect? Sheetz is good because it’s well lit, and they have nice bathrooms and a lot of other stuff. The one on Paxton St. has more stuff(like gelato!) inside, but they don’t have my calling cards, so I’m mad at them.
