Sorry. I love Aroogas and liked this place before. Tonight was pretty bad. Slow service, dry grilled cheese and no soap or warm water at men’s room sink. I’ll give it a try again. One more…

I have ate here several time and I’m surprised of the low reviews. We have always had good experiences. We go with a very picky couple and they also have nothing negative to say against the waiters and food

I have given this location chance after chance. I have eaten meals here are done take out as part of fundraisers held by Arooga’s. I have yet to be blown away by any of their food items, and when eating in the dining area, I have had very few positive experiences with their service.
My most recent purchase was the baked potato soup which was a thick, paste like mess, (although flavorful, when I took it home and thinned it out with some milk to try to not waste food.)
The wings are unremarkable although they have a large selection of flavors. If I HAD to recommend one food item, it would be the Stromboli. I would recommend that you order the original Stromboli and have them cook it «extra crispy». Otherwise it ends up being a soggy bottom crust.
I do not recommend this bar /​restaurant for large groups. The staff has a very difficult time handling groups more than 8 in my personal experience.
In order to support a good cause, I will return to this restaurant, but otherwise, it is certainly not high on my list of go to places.

This review is for takeout. We ordered 20 regular wings but they gave us boneless instead. Bacon cheese fries had barely any bacon on them. Wings and fries were cold and bland. Horrible! Avoid this place like the plague!

This review is written after numerous visits. So freakin’ tired of this place. The service is always horrible. With the exception of one lone waitress the rest are completely and utterly useless. The wings are mediocre at best.

My fiancé and I live right down the street from this Aroogas and we eat there often. In fact, we normally have a great experience and love their wings. We sat down tonight for drinks and hot wings and realized that it was trivia night! We were both extremely excited because we both really enjoy quizzo/​trivia nights! In fact, during the second round of trivia we were discussing making this our Thursday night to-​do after work. However, throughout the trivia we realized that the girl conducting the trivia was being rude to others and quite condescending. At one point during the third round, she came up to us with an attitude and stated that she had repeated the rules several times because we filled out our score sheet incorrectly. Therefore, she awarded us no points. The fact that we didn’t receive any points for something so de minimus is not the issue. The issue was the way she spoke to us. When she addressed us, she was completely ignorant, rude, and demeaning. The negative attitude from this trivia host was not only recognized during the entire trivia, but then we were unfortunately subjected to her complete lack of respect. We ended up leaving before the ending results because we were so angry. Not only will we never return on a Thursday night for trivia, but we will now think twice about going back to this Aroogas. For anyone who loves trivia and likes Aroogas food — beware of the trivia host. She will ruin your entire experience at this restaurant.

Food was ok and here and there it was even good or had nicer ingredients than typical bar food. Lots of choices. Service slow both times we went. Tv’s are all over the walls, but many don’t work well. Doesn’t look like they clean them much either… and I wouldn’t even touch the remote it was so dirty. Actually, not much there seems super clean – tables, seats, menus all kinda sticky or stuff stuck on them. Seems like a place high school or college kids might go to eat. I have been to some dive places, and some of them redeem themselves with great food or low prices. But here, prices aren’t cheap enough, and the food not good enough to compensate for the grungy atmosphere. Maybe with new management or something we might go back.

Love love love the wings — variety and quality. Service can be hit and miss and when it’s bad… Take out usually goes well

Great food, great staff, fun trivia nights. Wings are amazing and on special nights are extremely cheap. Plenty of sauces to choose from, ranging from mild to extremely spicy. If you like wings and a family friendly dining atmosphere, this is the place. Food other than wings is also quite good, but with the cheap specials, it’s hard to say no.

You won’t go hungry there but the overwhelming odor of cleanser at the bet makes it less than appetizing.

Went in for AYCE wings. 2 people.
Got seated at 6:00 and put in the first order at 6:10. Food didn’t arrive until 6:45. At that time put in another order of wings. 7:45 still no wings. Server and hostess came around in that time to ask how we were doing. Each time we told them «just waiting on our wings» in which they responded «they’ll be out shortly»
Couldn’t find the server so I left the money and left. It wasn’t the servers fault. The kitchen was just horribly staffed. People that came in after us were getting they’re food faster! I doubt I’ll be back soon.

Our group of 6 ate at this location on a Saturday night. We all enjoyed our meals. The service was good except that our server was pulled to the bar toward the end of our dinner. This led to longer waits for things we wanted including the check.
There are lots of choices on the menu. Many wing selections and dipping sauces.
There is a bar area and there is a sit down restaurant as well.
Give it a try.

The only reason I gave them one start is because giving 0 wasn’t an option!
We had made lunch reservations for 24, on Saturday March 28^th, after a competition. We arrived and to a fairly empty restaurant. They assigned one waitress to the whole table. Needless to say it TWO (2) hours to get our food, at which time several orders were incorrect and the food was cold.
You would think that they would have sent out a manager to at least apologize for the wait of offer something while we waited, but no. Needless to say we will not be ever going back to this restaurant ever again.

We have frequented this establishment for years, (even back when it was Kokomo’s). Honestly, it has just gone down hill. It is a very hit or miss restaurant. Three visits ago we actually got food poisoning, but I guess we are gluttons for punishment… Well actually we got a gift card for Christmas and needed to grab lunch this past time.
In reference to the food poisoning, I actually made a point to email their corporate office and received a prompt apology. They said they wanted to send us something to make up for it, (what I assume was going to be a gift card,) however we never received anything. But my reason was not to get something, but to warn them so no one else would get sick.
This most recent visit proved to me how lacking they are in the kitchen. First let me say our service is always good, and I have never had a complaint about that. The food runners are even great. However, the kitchen is a hot mess. The 2^nd to last time we were there my Pittsburgh steak salad came out with no cheese and I just dealt with it (didn’t want to torture the busy waitress for cheese). The last time however just solidified that the kitchen doesn’t really care in the least bit what they out out. We ordered soft pretzels that literally came out raw. We had to send those back… We had no choice, they were inedible. The next was a side Caesar salad, and I ended up getting one that was so small, and here it was completely the incorrect size (which they did make right, but now we had sent back 2 out of 2 things we received.). We did get sandwiches which were fine, which is why I even give the place 2 stars.
I would say, this place just isn’t worth the time or money. Going there for beers and wings, you’d probably be safe, but other than that I’d definitely go anywhere else but here.

The wing sauce was amazing. The service was less than stellar. If they offer to-​go orders, that’s probably your best bet!

Eh. In for work with a colleague and we went here to watch the Cowboys beat the Lions. Waitress was sweet which was a plus, but our food was below par. Wanted appetizers and started with the blue and bacon chips — they were okay. Ordered a crab drip with soft pretzels and the pretzels came out over cooked and hard. I will say they immediately took them back and off of the bill, which was great, but I was looking forward to a soft pretzel :(
The wings were good but super spicy (buffalo bay) if you like that you will love them!
Ordered an arrooga margarita which came in a great big glass with a whole lot of ice — a few sips and it was done.
Maybe I’m just tired from traveling, but I expected a little better all around.

I’ve lived in the area my whole life, so Aroogas is naturally a hot spot for my friends for meeting up. I really wish they’d pick somewhere else. Numerous times my food has been undercooked or served like warm, in addition their service is horrible.
I was here this past summer during a thunderstorm and the power went out, okay, no big bc weather happens… we waited for 45 minutes in the dark watching the managers scurry about bc their computer system went down. We weren’t told that food was no longer coming out of the kitchen, no one came to talk to us. Finally our server came by to refill out beers, when we asked what was up she said she didn’t know the managers are working on it. (By the way, with the power off, the taps weren’t being refridgerated… we were served piss warm, totally flat beer)
Finally we decided to leave, but not before telling our waitress. Neither of us had cash, and with the credit card system down, they asked me to leave behind my credit card information so they could run my card later… I don’t think so.
Overpriced horrible food with horrible service, don’t mention the clowns «managing the joint»…never coming here again… you couldn’t pay me to come here.

The menu is great, they have just about everything you could want. The wings are great and the sauces are endless.
The service is spotty. Sometimes decent, sometimes awful, never great.

The restaurant was slow but it was a weekday lunch time. The service was very good. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our drinks were refilled. The food was freshly prepared and tasted wonderful. The cookie pizza for dessert was awesome.

Great wings and bar food. Decent beer selection as well. Sports bar with multiple games at once.
I’ve eaten at multiple Aroogas and I have never been disappointed. The wings are good and you get them over fries as Aroogas style. Many different wing sauces for any palate.
Great to catch the game as well. Currently watching hockey, baseball, and basketball. If you can’t find your sport on, it’s probably not worth watching.
