A cute place, had a fun time at their wine stomp.
Got a tasting of almost all of their wines, all are good and some are great.
They have winery tours all the time, which is why i was there, but just happened to pick the weekend they were having one of their two biggest events. (The other is the fourth of July, night fireworks at both events)
Friendly people, local wine, and beautiful blue skies. A great day.

So beautiful! I can’t wait till they get their peach wine back! It’s amazing! Find complementary ended up buying four bottles to take home with me to Florida! It would have to be the best muscadine wine I’ve had in a very long time! And I drink a lot of muscadine wine!

Muscadines — scopadine and scuppernong the most prevalent varieties relatives of the grapes. Think grape with the skin of a cantaloupe! Having lived several miles south of the winery for years and having the chance to try multipe of the wines, I personally prefer the «fruit» wines — the ones that add blueberry etc. This winery makes good table wines and I like them for social occasions.

Nice people, great wine and other items. try their grape oil for cooking and dipping. I like their drier wines best. I live close and go often. While there ask them how to get to Millers Cheese, short drive, same family.

I have been buying Morgan Creek wines at the local grocery store but decided to visit the winery. My husband and I went right before Christmas. The lady who was working that day was very nice and informative. Asked a lot of questions about the kind of wine I usually drink and suggested some to try. Gorgeous building and it smelled so nice! I plan to go back for the grape stomp this summer!
