Sunday, March 9th, Tony and I was driving the backroads from Birmingham to Talladega, Alabama and we entered a very small town called Harpersville, Alabama and at the Crossroads sat this lovely old 1841 Plantation on Rt 25. Across the street is the old family cemetery. The home is empty and abandoned. I had to park and walk around the home, YOUKNOWME… and OMG, I could just imagine who lived here, their life and the grandeur of it all… and of course the hardship as well with the poor slaves and all the hard work. I would love to tour inside. I would love to know the Genealogy of this family…
