So I ordered from here some time last year and was really disappointed in the service. Two nights ago we decided to try again and I was much more satisfied. The service was quick and the 2 gentlemen that helped were super nice. The service was faster, the people were friendlier. Just better customer service overall. In fact, I’m going to order some more rice tomorrow! The chicken fried rice was really good.

Pretty decent. Some good dishes, while others were in need of working. Egg drop was good. Crab Rangoons were a bit oniony and ever so slightly sweet. The sweet and sour sauce is pretty good. Combo fried rice had a healthy amount of meat, but the flavor could’ve made it the dish more exquisite but… it settled for average soy sauce taste. Egg rolls are really small. Chicken lo mein was really crappy… soggy noodles with horrible flavor was hurt… yuckkk… Probably won’t be back… I’ve found cheaper and better chinese restaurant

They charge $ 5 dollars for delivery which is a lot. I ordered beef with broccoli & the total came out to $ 16. That’s without tip. I have never paid that much for a dish so I’m not too sure I was happy about that. On the contrary, my food was great aside from the sodium glazed lo mien, I was pretty happy & my stomach was very giddy, Portions for togo, is eh, could be better. All in all ok. Next time I’ll just go there in person.

The food is good, fast fresh, and people are sweet. I’ve been here 3 times and all were great. I come from Colorado and finding a good new Chinese food restaurant was hard. So happy I found this place! Best to call in your order and pick it up. They have Nice presentation on food when dinning in.

Horrible, had sesame chicken and general tso– both soaked in red sauce that was nasty. Asked for pork fried rice with the chicken dish and they made us a separate order of rice with soggy strips of pork that were fried. Not at all what I asked for. Never again. Waste of $ 30.(Which is way too expensive for the order)

I ordered: Pork Lo Mein General Tso’s Chicken Sesame Chicken Crab Rangoon Both the chicken dishes were sooo red & tasted like tomato sauce! What Chinese food tastes like tomato sauce?! The pork Lo Mein tasted watery &, in the words of my boyfriend, «Disgusting, tasted like rotten pigs feet». This was hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had!

They were really friendly and had my to-go order ready in 5 minutes flat. We weren’t able to eat for 45 minutes after I picked it up(waiting on someone) and still it was hot and delicious! We got broccoli beef and chicken fried rice and the pupu platter. I would def. Order again!

The food is great and all but we ordered delivery tonight… Waiting over an hour and a half. We called the place and they said that the driver should be on his way. Then they called us back and said that he driver was on his way 30 minutes later… We are still waiting… Hopefully it gets here before 10pm…

I would never eat here again. Wanted some real Chinese food and when we drove by there were about 5 cars in the parking lot so we went in. There was no one else in there except a bunch of employees just sitting around. We ordered the egg drop soup and eggrolls and both got entrees. The soup was the nastiest I’ve ever had and the eggrolls looked like they came out of the frozen section of Walmart and the guy didn’t cook them all the way. They were white and doughy. Seeing that it was gonna be almost 30 dollars for 2 people, and how gross their food was, we left before they finished our entrees. Never trying anything new in Killeen again. This place was just disgusting.

I was a little hesitant to order since everyone said it takes for ever. however, delivery took not even 30 mins, the wonton soup was a great let down, never again but everything else was real good. I would order again just not soup.

Food is always fresh and delicious, never had a problem here, service is good and everyone is super friendly. There are two hunan so I think a few people get confused, I did at first, the one in harker heights is excellent but I did not enjoy my food at all at the other one in Killeen. It wasn’t fresh and the service was horrible

The food from this place was simply not good. Delivery took about an hour and fifteen… which I guess is typical for a Friday night. I ordered sesame chicken and fried rice that I ended up throwing both away after a few bites. Try a different place.

I totally disagree with the last review… my hubby ordered lunch delivery from this place today, I didn’t know about it. First I was surprised that he thought of surprising me, but when I started to eat it(orange chicken), I quickly discovered the bad quality of the meat. The chicken had lots of connected tissues, veins and fat with grissels, it was gross. For that kind of money I would expect way better. Well, never EVER again!!! For 2 entrees $ 32??? No mam, I will never eat that kind of crap again… Oh btw. my dogs didn’t like it either(I have 4 dogs and none ate a bite). If you think that at least the rice was ok? Nah, it tasted it was from yesterday…

I actually used to eat here a lot. This hunan and the one in killeen used to be linked. I bounced between them often. After the«break up», this place fell off quite a bit. My last dine-in experience was sad. This was several years ago. Beef fried rice was 9 bucks. There was barely anything on the plate. The dumplings were soggy on the bottom. The egg rolls were no fun. I take the first bite and all the bean sprouts come out in one go. Bleh. Anywho. I gave em another go recently. I ordered chicken fried rice. They gave me way more this time. The rice tasted good. The value is still a bit off with the quantity versus how much they ask you to pay. Hunan in Killeen has the quantity/price part covered but the taste is whack about 30% of the time. I consider the cost, taste and amount. If they would simply give me a bit more of it for the asking price; this would easily be 4 star fried rice. I think their to-go boxes are cramping their style. Even if they pack it tight, it’s a small box.

I’m at home alone and craving Chinese food. Here I am on Unilocal scrolling through what little options I have here in killeen. I stumbled upon hunan! My husband and I always pass by and since he is so picky and hated any type of ethnic food, I thought I would order some delivery while he’s gone. I ordered orange chicken, house fried rice, hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef no onions, and sweet rolls. Mongolian beef is good but kind of just looks like steak. My husband will love it lol. The woman who answered was very nice and sweet about accommodating my order. The rice is delicious. I think there is ham in it which is a little weird but overall it tastes really delicious. The shrimp tastes fresh which is nice for a change. Sweet rolls taste just like donuts and there are a ton in an order. I ordered for my husband but I snagged one after the picture. Now for the soup. I was so excited because hot and sour soup is one of my favorites but this was a disappointment. The broth is more like gravy and it’s just not at all what I was hoping for. Won’t be ordering that again. But everything else is amazing. Oh and the orange chicken isn’t crispy kind of like how I usually get it but it’s still really good!!! Delivery took an hour which I don’t mind. I would give 5 stars if the soup was actually soup and not gravy.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would… Lousy service — ordered at 6:45, delivered at 8:33. Food was soggy, cold and disgusting. Driver didn’t apologize, manager wouldn’t refund money, only offered discount next time… Haha. Next time? Like hell…

After my dismal experience at Wongs Palace, I was a little hesitant to go to Hunan Palace. I was told they are owned by the same owner. As it turns out, the owners are related, but not the same person. Hunan Palace has the look feel and smell of a good Chinese restaurant. The furnishings, plates, cups etc. were all Asian, The music was decidedly NOT Asian. The menu has all my old favorites, and a few new items. Spicy dishes are clearly noted. I had the duck with vegetables. Not bad. I will recommend it to wife who loves duck. Like the related Wongs, there was a serious lack of broccoli in the dish, 3 pieces, but an avalanche of carrots! The duck was not todays duck, but it was still moist and flavorful. I was able to have a cold Tsing Tao beer with my food YAY! I am not sure what the issue is with floors with these folks, but the carpets were very dirty also. You could see clean spots near the edges here and there and the carpet there looks like a spotlight is shinning on it. Not black tarry filth like Wongs, but it needs a good cleaning! This place gets 4 stars for ambiance, 4 for the food, 5 for the Tsing Tao, and 3 for the cleanliness of the floors. A good solid 4 stars, and definitely the best Chinese food in the area.
