I had a great experience with Hair Affair, my appointment was prompt, staff was friendly and professional, my stylist did a great job (Mariah) I have already made my next appointment, I do recommend this shop

I visited this salon yesterday, and I am very pleased with the outcome. The staff was very friendly and approachable. I had a great experience with everyone I came in contact with. The owner is very friendly and outgoing, I felt among friends. Shadya is who did my hair, and I have to say she is absolutely amazing. I had a great time in her chair. Thank you Hair Affair for such a great experience. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I am very pleased with the services that I received today at Hair Affair LLC. I absolutely disagree with the previous bad reviews, I honestly think people like to complain. The salon is relaxing and classy and provides excellent customer and hair quality services. I am very happy to have made the decision to start going to this salon. Shadya was my stylist she is extremely professional and she made my salon experience easy and relaxing. My services included a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, sew in w/​leave out and a beautiful style all for 65 dollars! There is no better deal or service in town.

Okay I’ve been going to hair affair a little after they opened when Dee was the only stylist. Didn’t have any problems got in and out. Today was my last day going. I wanted a Bob long in the front layered in the back. (quick n easy rite? WRONG) long story short if I spend money on good hair and pay for the service with a good tip I want what I asked for. This the second time I’ve came to the shop and had to get out the young girl chair so that Mariah could fix my hair. Yes she tried her best to make me happy but it’s not what I wanted and I wasted money because I had to cut the hair so short. I’m sorry I’m a loyal customer but as I’m typing I’m taking my hair down. Besides my hair being jacked up everybody else (mariah, the front desk lady and braiders) tried to comfort me but I was already upset. I’ll recommend the shop but not the young girl that does hair

Well i guess every one has bad days, and as FEMALES we should be well aware. Yet, management and the beauticians didnt like my 1^st time being an unpleasant one, so they called and invited me back in the salon to resolve ALL issues. I would recommend them and plan on being a regular. I was also offered bottled water and or snacks while getting my hair done. I feel badly because i didnt have any funds to tip, but i will make up for that next time… thank you ladies for resolving the issues with my hair and first time experience in the salon I really appreciate everything you did today for me. To me THIS VISIT WAS MY FIRST VISIT, I’VE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING.

Do not go here!!! The STYLIST hate being here and complain about being at work to each other. I paid $ 150.00 for full sewin, I washed it within 6 days and the braids came apart. I called to the shop and the front desk lady was extremely nice. However I had to take off work to go back to get this fixed. The woman who did my hair. I could tell that she did not want to correct the mistake. It seemed as if the shop owner was forcing her to rectify her mistake. So instead of taking it out as the braids underneath the tracks had came undone. She decided to sew netting to the undone braids. And she did this only to the visible parts. Needless to say I’m not going argue with a stylist about their work (its pointless). I am now at week two heading to week three since my initial visit and I have removed the installation. Nothing worse than a loose raggedy weave. So I will take this as an $ 150.00 loss and lesson learned. Im sure by now you know that I will not return here. Good Luck if you choose to go here. Visited this place Friday ⁴⁄₃. I know they do walk-​ins til 6. I got there about 3:30ish and the girl at the front was very helpful. So I’m sitting waiting then I get called back to get my hair washed and blow dried. So after the girl dried my hair I’m sitting waiting to get my hair flat ironed. Two of the stylist started complaining about they was not doing anymore hair today and that the head they was already on was their last head for today because they were tired etc etc.
So after listening to them complain on and on for minutes… I decided to get up and ask staff at front to charge me for wash n dry because I was going home to finish my own hair. Those 2 stylist was so unprofessional in front of clients. If you not gone feel like doing anyone hair don’t advertise that you are taking walk-​ins til 6 if you are tired by 4pm.
I will not be going back and recommend others to make an appt or go for a walk-​in appt. in the mornings.
