I love Zoe’s. It’s real, fresh food that tastes great too. I’m addicted to their slaw and I don’t like normal slaw at all. Theirs has no mayo, just a whisper of vinaigrette with cabbage and feta. It’s simple and perfect. I really like the chicken salad and roll up sandwiches too. Perfect lunch food.

If you are in the mood for fast, light fare Mediterranean this is it. Last 2 times I got the new med salad which was delicious. Pay at the counter, grab a number for your table and they bring it out to you within 5 minutes. The food is served on real plates with real flatware. There is no bus station to clear your table when you are done so during the crowded lunch time you may have to deal with messy tables until the staff clear it. There is a drink station to help yourself which is a plus in my book. Expect to pay a bit more than typical fast food but I think it is a good value for the better quality. They keep their house dressing on the table, some sort of lemon and olive oil with seasonings. I like it. The food appears fresh but since I am sensitive to sodium I know everything must be doused with preservatives because I am always bloated the next day. I would recommend the place if you need a quick bite and like Greek foods.

No onions? We thought you said extra onions! Never fails. Every time I ask them to remove the onion from the grilled chicken, they always include it(though the receipt clearly marks it). This last time there was more onion than chicken, and the grease was seeping through the foil into the salad. Not cool. This last time was it for me. Opa! I’m outta here!

Beef kabobs! Enough said. Great quick food. The food is always consistent. I usually call in ahead of time and my food is made and prepped quickly.

In terms of quick counter service meals for lunch, they do it right. It’s fresh, light, and tasty, just like Mediterranean fare should be. I got the spinach and mushroom piadina with a side of hummus and enjoyed every bit of it. You can also call ahead for to go orders, as the line can get long during lunch. There are plenty of tables inside as well as a few outside.

I am thrilled to eat here as often as possible, as the food is always delicious and fresh. However, I encountered one of the rudest employees(short, red-haired woman) today. Granted, it was quite busy; however she went out of her way to quip back at me «I’m ONLY one person, ya know» when I politely asked her for a copy of my receipt. And by politely, I mean it went like this: ‘Excuse me, may I please have a copy of my receipt?’ I’m hoping she was just having a bad day, but I still hope to never have any run-ins with her in my future visits to the restaurant.

Love this place!!! So healthy and the shrimp and steak are delish!!! This place is such a gem. If you like Mediterranean cuisine you will love this place. They also sell their dressing for $ 4. It’s the best. Super healthy and super flavorful.

The options are pretty extensive for a restaurant that houses more healthy options for lunch. It’s always clean and a casual atmosphere. The great thing about the healthy options are how you feel during and after your meal: instead of feeling sluggish, you feel better about your choice of lunch. The food doesn’t weigh you down. It’s not recommended for those craving hamburgers and oily foods.

Very impressed with this place. I tried the kabobs: chicken and steak, hummus w/pita, salad and pasta salad. All sides were good. The pasta salad was dry, but their vinaigrette used for their salad is a good match for it. The kabobs were delicious. I’m not a big meat eater, but the steak kabobs were nice meaty pieces, and NOT fat. This place was actually worth the drive from the Westbank.

Went here before a movie, and the service was kind of slow. There weren’t that many people in the establishment for it to be like that. I ordered a steak sandwich of sorts. The steak was rather tough, and the fact that the wait was kind of long we barely made it to our movie. I wouldn’t have stopped in here if I wanted to wait like an actual restaurant.

We have eaten here about 7 times in the last few weeks. The food has been consistently very good. Salads and sandwiches have always been fresh and made with quality ingredients. They even use fresh basil in their salads. No cheap dried stuff. I highly recommend this place. I know food, having been a chef once upon a time. I am very critical of food. Service is very friendly. Zoe’s just has a winning combination of all that matters in a eatery. Congratulations, Zoe’s, on your success. You have earned it!

I have given Zoe’s many, many chances at multiple locations to impress me and each time it just hasn’t happened. Elmwood is a sea of(mostly unhealthy) chain eateries, so I really, really want to like this place since it tries to offer a healthier option. Unfortunately, the food is just really, really basic and lacks the great flavors that make Mediterranean food so good. Last week I came here and ordered the Chicken Roll Ups. It’s advertised as «tortillas, feta, tomato, caramelized onions, dipping salsa, and feta» and comes with a side. Sounds tasty right? I thought so too. What I got were a few small pieces of tortilla, each rolled around one small piece of lukewarm chicken. There were maybe 2 small pieces of tomato in each tortilla, with some generic melted cheese in each one which tasted nothing like feta. If the caramelized onions were on the plate, I certainly didn’t taste them in the dish. The dipping salsa was completely missing from the show-I was going to ask them about it but didn’t want to wait in the huge line that had formed at the counter. The dish tasted almost exactly like a Hot Pocket-you can definitely tell this is Mediterranean food attempted by someone from Alabama. My side was a Side Greek Salad which was actually the best part of the meal, but anyone can throw some lettuce, feta, tomatoes, and a few peppers together. I will give them this: their house salad dressing is pretty damn good. I also got a side of hummus and it was extremely forgettable. For what my meal came out to, $ 15 and some change with a drink, I was expecting waaaaay more. Unfortunately, I’ve ordered multiple things here and the simple truth is that the food is just overpriced for what it is. If you want to do healthy in Elmwood, go to City Greens. It’s expensive but at least the food is worth it.

Arrived there. No one was in line. Ordered and paid quickly. We got our drinks. Sat down. Around us were three dirty tables. The tables stayed dirty for a while. No one wants to see that when they are eating. The food arrived quickly. It was really good! I had the chicken kabobs. It came with a salad, pita bread, and rice. There is salad dressing on the table for you to use. It was very tasty. It’s like an oil and vinegar with a Greek flare. I loved the 3 different types of hummus app. The pesto hummus is my favorite.

My new favorite place for take out! We have ordered from here at least 4 – 5 times now and each time has been consistently good. We call ahead and place our order and it’s ready to be picked up within about 15 minutes.(We generally order on the weekends in the late afternoon, so it’s not a busy time.) The staff are friendly and the food is excellent! My favorite item to order is the salmon kabobs. It comes with a generous portion of Greek salad, pita bread, hummus and Tzatziki sauce. It’s delicious! My boyfriend likes to order the beef kabobs and they are accompanied by roasted red potatoes and assorted grilled vegetables. Out of the other items we have tried so far, I would also recommend the chicken gyro, the Quinoa salad and the pimento cheese sandwich(I asked for 7 grain bread rather then the Rye bread… Not a fan of Rye bread). Everything is packed nicely for take out and arrives home in good order. Most times, I eat the Greek salad the next day because I have been full from the rest of the meal. The salad still holds up well the next day. The vinagrette they use is so good. We are definitely fans of here and will be back.

Love this place. When I eat here I typically have the chicken kabobs entrée, it comes on a bed of rice with a Greek salad and pita bread. On the days I have a larger appetite I add braised white beans. This place is the right place to go with if your looking for a healthier option while your out. You can order much of what’s on this menu without having to feel guilty afterwards.

Zoes in Elmwood is very hit or miss, unfortunately I’ve had more misses than hits. Usually this place is crowded and better at lunch and less crowded and gross at dinner. With a chain restaurant, consistency is key — if I order kabobs, they should come out hot, not chilly. This place is a decent place to grab a quick salad, but I would not get any of their hot dishes — most of the time they are lukewarm at best. The only way I will go here is if someone else suggests to go.

Finding fast food that’s fresh ain’t so easy when you’re out in Metry or Kenna’ City but Zoe’s Kitchen is it. Period. After a voracious epic jaunt through Party City, I need something fresh and fast. The half sandwich and side with a drink is under $ 10… Perfectly filling and didn’t put me to sleep at 2-sies. I had the chicken salad sandwich, the marinated slaw, and a green tea hibiscus tea(unsweetened until you put 4 splendas in it). Slaw wasn’t suuuuper marinated not nothing the uh-mainf housemade Greek Dressing can’t fix to jazz up an already tasty slaw. The sandwich was fresh and delicious but I would’ve preferred a more toasted bread to bring some crunch to the ‘wich but still worth my while. Stations were clean and service was nice AND you can order before you get there and scoop it up faster than you can spell MISSISSIPPI. I’ll be back for fresh, er fo’ sure.

I had to update my review. They recently added a Salmon Kabob, that is pretty amazing. I absolutely adore it. The salmon is just so juicy and wonderful. Mmmm it’s definitely a trip you need to try out along with their tasty hummus. I love this location for weekend lunches. It’s great location to just sit and enjoy a bite to eat while running errands.
