I very rarely make assumptions about who is an employee at a store because it annoys me when random people come up to me as I’m shopping and ask me to find something for them without even so much as a «Hi, do you work here?» Yet, this is the first time I’ve ever walked into a store and been SOSURE that I knew who was an employee — mainly because he was the only person who was dressed well — and been so, so, so wrong. The well-dressed person was another customer. Whoops. I don’t know what shoes the actual employee was wearing because I finally found him(after walking around the store several times) behind a counter, but I would not be surprised if he had been wearing flip flops because his attire can only be described as Caribbean«dressy.» Dress how you like, but when it becomes difficult for customers to find employees to ask for help, that is a problem. And come on, you guys are selling suits and tuxedos; surely you can do better than an oversized, flimsy /see-through short-sleeved shirt and baggy pants. That is just unprofessional, and it does not inspire confidence in customers who wish to ask you advice on the products that you are selling. This same employee was on the phone when I found him — and he stayed on it the entire time I was there. It also took him 20 minutes to ring up the guy before me. That was a total waste of time, when I had only wanted to ask if they carried a specific size tuxedo I was looking for(they didn’t). The store was full of(I think) customers just standing around texting on their phones. They didn’t look like they were shopping, but rather like they were another shopper’s entourage, yet I couldn’t figure out who else was actually shopping /who else was being helped. Have fun dodging around these clumps of people. As noted on first glance, one customer was dressed well enough, and I think he was trying on clothes from the store. I don’t know if any alterations were involved to make him look that way, but I did see a lady with a tape measure fussing with him afterwards. So Jos. A Bank may have decent clothes, but due to the utter lack of attention and professionalism, I’d pick a different location to check out.

Ok, so one star for how nice the staff is and one star for when they actually DO get things right, it’s done right. My husband has been here 4 times for the same two issues for the same order and we will go there one more time in a few days. The first issue is time… if you say the tailor on staff will have it done in a few hours and you say I will be back in two days to pick it up… have it done… or at least call and say«Please don’t try to spend 30 mins to park in parking lot full of angry people just so you can walk a mile to our store just for us to turn you away and have you come back another day» This happened TWICE… then when they did have his tailored pants ready… one of them were cuffed when asked for no cuffs. Although, the staff seems to be very remorseful each time… it still doesn’t make us forget the effort it has taken to come to this particular store being the holiday season. After his order is finally done, I will have to say that we will take our business elsewhere.

Reasonable selection of good quality off-the-rack menswear. Staff were as helpful as I needed them to be, but unobtrusive otherwise. They also handled a recent return/exchange very smoothly and with minimal fuss. I’d shop this location again.
