Used to live down the street. Decided to return for a quick breakfast on the go. Ordered two simple bagel and cream cheese to go. Order took 20+ minutes to come out. Shame because the food is delicious– will not return.

They claim they make a real bagel and all other places bake bread and put a hole in it. The bagel was not good and service is less than stellar. It took over 20 minutes to get ONE bagel with cream cheese. Never again! If you are in a hurry be aware that this place is not quick.

Our visit was quite surprising and disappointing. We are from NY and were excited to grab some breakfast on our way home from the airport before we drove two hours home. Please tell me why you do not have fresh eggs? My husband wanted eggs over easy on his breakfast sandwich. As I was ordering with a very sweet young man, the manger Steve L chimes in «we don’t fry eggs.» I responded how are you advertised as a NY deli and you don’t make fried eggs? His response was we are advertised as NY style bagels. Now I appreciate Steve’s knowledge, however, it is 9am and you’re being snide with a customer. I didn’t appreciate it at all. To top it off, when I opened my egg white on sesame flagel, there was hardly any egg on it! More than half the flagel was bare. No egg, no cheese, nothing. How can someone making this think that’s ok to serve a paying customer? We spent over ten dollars for 1 ok sandwich, even though it was not what my husband wanted, and an egg«sandwich» that barely had any eggs. You have to do better Bagels and Grinds.

Stopped in for breakfast while on the way to a conference, and picked up a quick bagel sandwich and coffee. While the coffee is really quite decent and the prep area clean, the sandwich wasn’t great. The bagel was gummy and untoasted despite the request for it toasted, and I really didn’t like the way they do their eggs. I get that it’s supposed to be omelet style, to keep everything together and contain the heat, but it ends up lumpy and flavorless, with really wet eggs around bland meat. I’ll stick to our local bagel places when needing the carb indulgence, but at least the coffee’s pretty good here.

Great sea salt bagel and coffee. Long line when we arrived but very efficient. Also nice to see the open bakery while waiting in line.

I ordered one bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. And then waited 12 minutes for it. After about 8 minutes I asked one of the staff to check on my order. She never came back. Another four minutes and I asked someone else. He checked and finally came back with my order. I calmly told him that the wait of 10+ minutes for one bagel was too long. He ignored me and turned around. I left, exasperated. LOOOOONG wait, awful customer service and the bagel was ugh with a crust like a hockey puck and too salty. Keep driving.

This place just blew me away on Sunday. All three of us LOVED our bagels. The hubby and I ordered the bagel with lox and man oh man, there’s no shortage of toppings here. So much lox, if had brought a baggie with me, I could have made a midnight bagel snack for later. Bagels, crisp on the outside, loaded with toasted onions and chewy. Trying to keep all those capers from tumbling over, but with little success. Cukes, red onion, tomato slice — partnered with yummy lox & chive whipped cream cheese. Also, I did something unlike me and opted for the coffee fixings bar this time. Oh, what fun! A half a cup of cold brew, 1 sugar, some half n half, topped off with vanilla creamery and half a packet of honey. Okay, so I kinda turned my coffee into a shake of cream, with a hint of coffee essence. Still fun, cold and satisfying. Both the hubby and my son sat on the cozy leather sofa, enjoying the morning sun, the overall good vibes and their delicious breakfasts. Left with a baker’s dozen and two tubs of cream cheese. Hmm. whole wheat everything bagels — I’ve not ever seen that one before. Picked up some of those babies, but haven’t tried them yet.

It was my first visit to this place, I’ve been meaning to go for awhile since I moved to this area about a year ago. The business left a very sour first impression. If mgmt. addresses these issues, I may reconsider. Date: March 26(sat) Time: 10:16 am Service. Cashier was friendly, but the part that failed on their end was the service time. From order to food arrival, it took 32 mins! This was only for 2 bagels! On top of that, they failed to get the right cream cheese i ordered. Appearance. The place seemed pretty clean and have digital menus for a modern look. Coffee is self served including milk and cream dispensers… Fancier than my usual mom and pop places. Food. I thought the bagels were pretty good. Has that chewy softness inside and somewhat crispy on the outside. Ordered a sun-dried tomato and the asiago cheese. Recommendation. The store needs to have an effective service strategy. Lots of people waiting and standing meant long service times. I was expecting to pop in and out of this place on a weekend morning on the way to a hike. A girl next to me asked for money back because she was going to be late to work. Without food. I hope management takes these reviews seriously if they want more Unilocal stars.

This bagel shop advertises that their bagels taste like ny bagels. I didn’t get it. NY bagels are much more chewy. In my opinion, Einstein has better bagels. The café is clean and nicely decorated. There’s even a small conference room area for people to hold meetings. The employees are really nice too. Maybe because I went near closing time on sunday and the bagels weren’t as fresh… but I expected better tasting bagels from a bagel specialty store.

This place is great! I have to admit I haven’t tried their food, only their coffee and tea, but I come here for many meetings and Its a great little space in the arundel mills center. They have oversized couches and there’s a ton of seating, although it can get a little cramped. They also have a conference space in the corner of the restaurant that you can reserve. The bathrooms are clean. The service is always friendly. They sell their drinks in regular and large only. The coffee is self serve and you can get free refills. In addition to bagels they have oversized cookies, scones, muffins, parfaits and salads. I will definitely be back regardless of whether I am buying a bagel or not!

Awesome coffee selection, nice and clean, free wifi, nice outdoor seating! However the blueberry bagel didn’t taste like blueberry so I really didn’t enjoy it. I will still go back to try something different but the breakfast sandwich didn’t impress me.

My son said: «my food was great»… He ordered a plain bagel with jam and eggs. My husband ordered brooklyn bagel, which is a combination of lox, cucumber slices, onions and cream cheese on an everything bagel. My daughter ordered the same with no veggies. I ordered florentine bagel. It was white eggs(not fresh), feta cheese and spinach on a wheat bagel. My food was ok. The bagels are basically fresh, you can see the guy preparing the bagels in front of you behind a big pane window. If you have your order ready in the head go to the cashier, if not, they guy will be irritated with your indecision. Theres a man cleaning all the time the tables. It is a pretty clean place. You have variety of at least 20 kinds of bagels. I would come back, but I really need to see other places for my Unilocal reviews. Good luck there. Btw, the bill was 35 dols.

The short: Breakfast sandwich was on point. Non toasted egg and sausage on a pumpernickel bagel. Right about of egg/sausage Filling for the cost, and it really tasted freshly made. My Cappuccino with almond milk was what I needed, and for a bagel joint fairly good, nothing special though. Will say it beats Starbucks if your looking for a ranking system here. When craving a filling breakfast and a good coffee combo stop in and try it out.

I was rather disappointed with my whole experience. This place has a good rating online but I would disagree with the ratings it has received. This place takes a LONG time to get your order to you. There was no wait when I order my California Chicken bagel, but it somehow took them 15 minutes to get my order to me. I ordered the California chicken bagel(hot bagel) I expected my bagel to be toasted, but instead it was pressed. This caused the bottom of the bagel to be WAY too hard and made it difficult to eat. The top of the bagel was not as pressed as much, but this ruined the consistency of the bagel. The bagel wasn’t anything delicious or special. In all honesty, I could have made the bagel myself from a bagel from the grocery store.

Ive been here a few times and actually choose it over Baltimore Tea & Coffee(odenton). That said, I come here for the food and don’t drink coffee. They have a selection of about 12 different bagels at any given time, and a special of the day. Then, they can make your bagel a sandwich. With a respectable amount of real sandwich meat, vegetable and filler options.(Of course they have the regular cream cheese/butter options as well). They have a ‘water purification plant’ to supposedly make it like NY water to get the bagels perfect. It’s gimmicky and slightly insulting. But that said, The bagels are good. They are nice North East coast style bagels. Chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Additionally, they offer a selection of hearty salads and a few options of fresh fruit salad, yogurt parfait and lemonade fruit juices, fresh(real) cookies and sconces. B&G has about 5 selections of coffee at any given time(and it looks like free refills — you fill your cup yourself). They also have several dairy/creamer options and fill your own fountain drinks. The only thing they could do to make it better is add fresh smoothies to the menu. Compared to BaltTea, they don’t have a retail portion as BaltTea does and they have fewer selections for coffee. But, B&G is good at the basics: good food and a good cup of coffee. Where BaltTea is about making ‘special’ coffees. And you aren’t getting a meal at BaltTea. Preference depends on your goals I guess. I also like the rewards program here — I’ve earned free food :)

I LOVE this place!!! Their bagels are amazing and made fresh daily. If you go early you can eve watch. My favorites are the Asiago cheese and the blueberry bagels. The cinnamon raisin is also a solid choice. They also make their own cream cheeses with real fruit in it. The blueberry is to die for.

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast. I ordered the Brooklyn which was lox, cream cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. I had them put it on the sea salt bagel and would highly recommend. Everything about the bagel sandwich was great. The pumpkin coffee was delicious. I liked I could top off my coffee when I left after enjoying my meal. I also had the option to add splenda, sugar, milk, etc from a cool little programmable machine. I enjoyed splitting the smore cookie with my husband. It was huge and homemade.
