This place has become a standard place where I grab lunch. In no time, I have my sandwich, just as I ordered it. It’s basic deli fare, but it’s quick and it’s cheap. The exterior and the convenience aisles look a little sketchy, but I’ve never been disappointed with my food. The regular fries come out as perfect, crispy shoestrings. But, they should be eaten there. If you’re getting fries to go, opt for the western fries which travel much better. This is a solid place; run well by pleasant people. It is well worth your business.

I stopped in here on a whim while traversing between office locations in Columbia and Annapolis Junction. They offer pretty decent hot and cold subs at a low price($ 6.99 for most sub/fry/drink combos). It’s the usual selection of things at these local delis — cold sandwiches, the ever-present cheesesteaks, reubens, grilled chicken, and such. The fries were somewhat of a disappointment — pedestrian, and a bit soggy — but the cheesesteak was delicious! And they loaded it with hot peppers when I asked, which made me happy. One thing the previous reviewer mentioned was the bulgogi — I didn’t see a single Korean dish on the menu(and I looked!), so they may have changed ownership and/or themes. There seemed to be a stream of regulars going in and out, but it wasn’t a long wait for anything. The parking lot is a PITA to get out of if you’re turning left; try to cut across the lot and down the very steep hill to the nearest cross-street to get to a stoplight. So in short — not necessarily worth going out of your way for, but worth stopping in if you’re in the area and need a cheap and fulfilling sandwich.

This place is a busy little convenience store/deli. While working in the area, I stopped in for lunch. Even though it was busy, my coworker and I both agreed that the food was only so-so. The rice was just awful in my bulgogi platter, and it was supposed to come with cole slaw, but I didn’t get any!(bulgogi, you ask? G&G is run by a bunch of Koreans. So it seems they have a very wide variety of menu items).
