Over priced Italian food. Awful service!!! We had no problem being seated but our server was one of the worst! So bad another waitress took our order for her. We definitely won’t be back here. It’s worth driving to Visalia or even Fresno for more decent and better priced Italian food!

Nice little lounge where my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with an environment nicer than expected. Fantastic in comparison to the rest of the area, the best restaurant in the local area with fantastic service.

Wanted to take my lovely wife to a beautiful dinner and decided to give Fugazzis a try. However, after we walked in, we waited and waited to be greeted, given a menu, looked at, acknowledged in ANY way, but nothing. I even walked around to empty tables and debated on just taking a seat but still got no attention. My wife even politely said«excuse me» to a waitress walking by and she didn’t even take a glance to see who was talking to her, she just kept walking. So much for date night at Fugazzis. We probably won’t try and eat there again.

I like the food but the service isn’t as good as the atmosphere projects. The last three times I went in once in dining room and twice in the bar I was disappoint with the service. After three attempts I will not be going back.

We went with a large group & the service was fantastic. The food was also very good, everyone seemed to enjoy their food & plates were empty. They have an extensive wine list & a very interesting mule cocktail list as well. The atmosphere was nice as well, we also enjoyed the music that was playing, many at the table commented on it. Great experience for all.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant. There are few restaurants, to choose from in Hanford. Most of the reviews said great food but very slow service. That is SO true. Would not go back. If you are going to pay so much money, you should get great food and great service.

Loved it!!! Brussels sprouts appetizer was not too fried and very flavorful. Angel hair pasta(with Parmesan sprinkled on) was nice and light but cooked to perfection. The salads are delish and not drowned in dressing. I’ll definitely be back!

Pros: Big seating area, menu variety. Lots of topping and salsas to chose from on your own, on a buffet tale, beautiful paintings on the wall. Cons: The silverware and cups were dirty. The food is plain, not Mexican in my opinion; a lot of black beans and fresh ingredients but the tortillas weren’t cooked all the way, the rice is flavorless.

We came in for an early 5pm dinner, just randomly drove by and saw the sign advertising a large one topping pizza for $ 8.99. We had to wait for a while as there was no host or hostess, and even as we were already seated, we saw just about every other group having to wait for a host to acknowledge them in order to be seated. We ordered the $ 8.99 special pizza and were told that that is only for«to go» orders, but that they will honor it, since the sign was unclear. The waitress was apologetic, but the manager ended up charging us $ 13.99 and when the bill came, we found an additional $ 4 up-charge, so the advertised $ 8.99 pizza ended up costing us $ 17.99, which it was not worth it. The other food we had was ok. The Brie and roasted garlic appetizer was exceptional. All and all, disappointed in the service, and the false(unclear) advertising, and the manager’s response. Will not be back.

My BF and I went for my birthday and just wanted a nice dinner. We sat for about 20 min waiting for service, which we didn’t receive until we had to ask a server for help! Then my menu was missing the page of steaks and I was bummed because he said they had them; until I realized I was missing a page. We ordered drinks and our appetizer and meal at the same time. The drink my BF ordered was no longer in stock… Idk why you offered it?! We got drinks before bread and about 2 min before dinner… Still no appetizer. It was a really really REALLY long wait and our appetizer which came out AFTER our appetizer?!? He ordered his steak medium rare and it came out medium well?! How is that even close? He was very upset and very confident that we will never be back! My steak was medium and it was good. The service was so terrible that it ruined the whole experience and was a huge disappointment. I highly doubt we will ever be back!!! I will say that the waitress that DID help us, was very nice and gave us a free dessert when she boxed up the meal. She also comped his steak. However, we weren’t out for a free meal, just a good one and it was very disappointing. I really had high hopes but it was a complete FLOP!!! Happy frickin’ birthday to me…

We arrived early for dinner, one of us was given a dinner menu and one the lunch menu. The mistake was not noticed until I started asking questions. Our server, Chris was very knowledgeable about the good and very accommodating with dietary concerns and assured me that changes could easily be made to accommodate my needs. He kept our water glasses full and checked on us frequently to make sure we were satisfied and all our needs were met. Fish taco appetizer were plentiful and very flavorful. Chicken Marsala was very tasty and the portion was more than enough, in fact I will be taking home leftovers. If you decide to eat here they do have anar area with big screen TV but I found our booth very comfortable. Ask for Chris. He will take really good care of you!

Food was awesome. Sweet potato fries with the lime sauce was fantastic. Service wasn’t as great as expected. Very slow and had to ask for more water multiple times.

I went to dinner with my wife and kids for out anniversary, so I will start off with first impressions I believed that I needed a suit and tie. However we were not rejected so that is ok. My family was promptly seated and we ordered drinks. I ordered a raspberry ice tea, my wife had a long island and my kids both had chocolate milk My wife had a Linguine and Clams which she said was OK but nothing to go crazy about. The noodles were a little over cooked and lacked flavor. However it was as close to Napoli as she has come in a while. I had a Spicy shrimp arrabiata it the noodles were over cooked but the spice was just right. It was ok for American, Italian food. My kids both had pizza and they loved it. You can’t go wrong with pizza and kids. Over all my wife said she don’t feel comfortable going to eat at this place as the atmosphere is too stiff necked for her. I loved the food I just wished I didn’t feel like I needed a suit and tie on to eat here. If momma don’t like it then that pretty much goes in line with my feelings. I will probably order take out but as for sitting and eating not so much. The food was good but I don’t want to feel like I need to be high socity to get something to eat. As for the Arrabiata check out this place to make this pasta.

Decent food but crap service. Food was about 12 – 15 per entrée with steak around 30. We kept having to ask for every little thing. Can we pull up another table? Can you wipe it off for us? We didn’t get enough utensils, can we get a few more? Can we order? My glass has been empty for 15 minutes, can we get refills? Etc. it got old after being there two hours.

While this restaurant is never terrible it always leaves me a little disappointed. Tonight my wife and I went to dinner. First lets talk about the entryway. After entering you wait in an area that is only partially visible from the dinning area and you often have to wait quit a while for someone to recognize your there and take you to a table. When we were finally seated the hostess immediately asked if we wanted cocktails. We requested water while we decided on what cocktails we wanted. The water came immediately and shortly there after the waitress brought the traditional bread and dipping sauce, returning later to ask about cocktails. After we ordered drinks she asked if we were ready to order our food. We were ready so we ordered. My wife ordered a steak, well done, and I had the Ahi Tuna. Our salads came immediately. They were cold and crisp and beautifully presented. Unfortunately our cocktails were still being prepared in the bar. When our drinks were delivered, my wife’s drink was fine but the Manhattan I ordered contained bitters and I’m pretty sure a splash of soda. A Manhattan, like a martini is only two ingredients, bourbon & sweet vermouth. The taste of the bitters were overwhelming and I sent the drink back, something I almost never do. The waitress was very nice about it and returned the drink to the bar. Shortly after we finished our salads the entrées arrived followed by the reordered Manhattan. My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly and my Ahi, while slightly over cooked was really delicious. We very much enjoyed both of our entrées. I would have preferred to have had time to enjoy our cocktails followed by the salad and then the entrées. All in all the service felt like a coffee shop rather than a place for a leisurely dinner. Finally no one returned to our table to see if we liked our food or see if we wanted dessert or coffee. As we were finishing our entrées the waitress whizzed by our table, dropped the bill and said, «Whenever you’re ready.» All in all, while the food here is pretty reliable the service is iffy at best and certainly not in line with the price tag. Frankly I think we would have had better service at any of the local coffee shops. I wish they would get it together. I really want to like this place.

Ate here for lunch today in a group of 6. We were seated quickly and our server was pleasant and patient. However while seated i noticed the greeter seemed to disappear often, leaving customers to walk in and having to wait several minutes to be seated. Menu is simple and provide several different entrée options at resonable prices($ 10-$ 12) Unfortunately they were out of a few key menu items. On this visit, both the Truffle Fries & Short Rib pasta. Our server informed us they had been out of the pasta for some time now…(-1 star) I ordered a Stroganoff and salad with Bacon Mac & cheese appetizer. Mac and cheese was pretty good. However the salad and stroganoff were unfortunate. Stroganoff was brought out made with the wrong type of noodles(Actually had several different noodles other than the one it was supposed to have), and the flavor of the sauce tasted a bit burned. Salad tasted dirty and the dressing(Ranch) was not very good.(–2 Stars) Overall, unless they make some major changes to their ingredients & recipes, I will probably not be back here again.

Love the two Visalia locations, but had a very bad experience here. We had reservations for three people on New Years. I was told that they were booked, but when I called Visalia to make a reservation there, I was told that they were NOT in fact booked in Hanford. The Visalia restaurant made us the reservation to the Hanford location. When we went, the dinning room was empty. Food was fine, but when the wine showed up it was not what we ordered($ 30.00 bottle) but instead it was a cheep bottle that still had the grocery outlet sticker on it. I was mad! Come to find out from our server, if they had no customers they got to go home. No wonder we were initially denied reservations. I’m giving it two stars because the Visalia staff was so great to me, and the food was okay.

I would say my rating is an average of what I have experienced every time I have had this restaurant. The Service: Super nice waitresses(for the most part). All of the women I have had as a waitress have been super friendly and welcoming. I have had one waiter who was a less desirable in a waiter(he didn’t really check up on our table, and kind of made our party feel like we were burdening him). The Atmosphere: Lounge style, dark and somewhat secluded from other parties. Overall pretty nice place. The Food: Okay, where do I begin. I ordered pasta here once, it was the most bland pasta I have ever had as an adult. Really. No salt, pepper or anything else. Kraft mac and cheese was more flavorful than this pasta. Someone Else who was dining with me however ordered the steak bistro salad– which was amazing– at the time. The veggies were sautéed in balsamic, the steak was tender and juicy and the whole salad was topped with a crunchy jalapeño(might be another chili) popper. Delicious. Heres the catch– I have returned many times for this salad, receiving completely different quality and flavored version of the same exact order. The last time I ordered it, the steak was dry and thin beef jerky-esque. The veggies have been raw. It has been delicious again, it might be the chef. Overall: Too inconsistent for my tastes.
