This is strictly for the Haupia pie. I can’t find this in California so when I saw it I just had to try it. It was so good that on my last day there, I went and ordered 16 pies to-go to bring back with me. Yes… I’m that person. LOL They made great souvenir gifts to friends and family as I got to bring back a taste of Kauai with me because they could just re-heat the pie at home. Even re-heating the haupia pie at home brought me back to Kauai. I definitely recommend getting the haupia pie if they have it. I hear about the taro version so hopefully next time i’m in Kauai, Hawaii or any other the other islands, they have it so i can try it.

The service is great some of the workers have a hard time understanding me and messing up my order because English is there 2nd language but they’re still very fast and have great customer service

Mcdonalds with some Hawaiian flare. 3 stars for their average 3 star service that forgot to give me one order of portuguese sausage egg and rice breakfast plate until I looked in my bag and told em it was missing but, +1 their pies are deep fried! (The mcdonalds pies in SoCal are baked.) And how can you not like portuguese sausage, spam, and different pie flavors(taro, haupia, and banana) –1 I found a hair in my banana pie filling… Back to 3 star average.

It’s McDonald’s. Menu is the same everywhere. This location is a bit small. Outdoor, there are chickens and roosters. I’m starting to think that they just walk around freely around the island.

It’s Mcdonalds, what can I say. Oily, stale fries, ice cream machine always broken, not enough healthy options, too much workers with too little aloha. I never bring my kids here for anything other than an occasional treat.

I had to try McDonald’s for breakfast in Hawaii, especially since they serve Spam and Portuguese sausages! I also tried their taro pie. Overall, the breakfast was pretty oily and fatty, but what can you expect from McDonald’s? I would say, that would be my one and only time experience eating spam, Portuguese sausage and taro pie at Micky D’s.
