The best ice cream and super nice staff.
I loved the Kona Mud Pie ice cream and the Coconut was great too. Perfectly creamy and fresh tasting and we preferred it to Lappert’s.
The shop is darling and the girl working there on ⁶⁄₂₃ was so sweet and just sparkled.

This ice cream is good, but it’s just meh for the price. It smells enticingly of waffle cones in the parking lot, but it is nothing special. I would recommend Lappert’s in Princeville for better ice cream.

Came here for ice cream but the menu has three grilled cheese sandwiches that sound like they’d be quite tasty. The ice cream was good. The consistency was slightly icy though, I wish it were creamier.

Best Hawaiian grill cheese ever!!! We ate lunch 4 times here on our vacation. The kona mud pie milkshakes are awesome

Great ice cream, great service. We could smell them making the waffle cones from across the street and had to check it out. «Mac Nut Brittle» and «Kona Mud Pie» did not disappoint. Had to go back again after dinner.

The sandwiches are fine, nothing to write home about. The ice cream was fantastic though!

Hawaiian grilled cheese (pineapple only) what an interesting concept for a grilled cheese. I liked the spicy sauce provided — it gave the sweet /​sour combo & a nice kick

Had the Hawaiian grilled cheese, fairly impressed! I usually never pay for a grill cheese but since it has pineapple and kalua pork, I had to give it a shot. Definitely not disappointed, facial little place, can have dessert after, can’t beat that!

Amazing ice cream and spectacular service. Some smaller establishments would give our large party attitude, but all of the employees at Pink’s greeted us with a smile, made us feel comfortable and took our order expertly (trust me, our large family gets our fair share of order mix ups). Ice cream flavor favorites included: chocolate macadamia nut, coconut, and aloha cherry truffle. Grilled cheese with pork and pineapple was also a must try!

Delicious! The dairy free ice cream was amazing! And the dairy full Kona Mud Pie was heavenly. Love this place!

Very Berry flavor is home made and totally delicious. The place inside is nice and the lady was super nice. A lot of flavors and choices.
The town around Hanalei is super nice also to walk around and do some local shopping

Loved everything about this place! The service was great, shop was quaint and comfortable, ice cream was delicious, and sandwich was just what we were craving. Between our party of 6 we tried about every ice cream flavor on the menu and loved them all! The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful with recommendations.

Not bad. Not great. Standard. Our grilled Kalua pork sandwich was a bit over toasted. Staff was super friendly and helpful though!

I can’t resist ice cream… so the ice cream sign drew me in! I sampled a few ice creams but didn’t find them special. My husband liked it and ended up getting a scoop of the banana mac nut. I moved on to the grilled cheese because our other dinner from Sushi girl left me hangry. I got the hawaiian grilled cheese (hawaiian bread with muenster cheese, pulled pork, pineapple) with a side of hawaiian style potato chips. This was definitely delicious. I think the best thing about it is the crispiness factor. They put a lot of TLC into it so that the bread is crispy from the inside out. I personally don’t like doughy bread so this made me so happy. The sandwich also came with a small container of hot sauce (kind of taste like hot wing hot sauce) and it paired very well with the grilled cheese.

on our last day on kauai, we knew we wanted some good ice cream! we were debating between pinks and lapperts. we decided on pinks since its a locally owned shop!
since we were staying in princeville the drive to hanalei was super short! btw, hanalei is super cute and has A LOT of food choices! we parked in front of pinks, and when we walked in we were greeted by 2 ladies behind the counter.
i usually get froyo instead of ice cream because… calories, lol, but after looking at their ice cream menu i knew i wanted something different. i cant remember but i wanna say they had 8 or 9 flavors on their menu. my bf asked to sample a couple. i sampled 1: banana mac nut brittle, and thats all i needed to sample because i knew thats what i was getting! my bf ended up getting a waffle cone with kona mud pie, and i got a small cup of the bmcb! the ladies were super awesome and friendly and even gave us a kama’aina discount! i wasnt expecting that since i didnt ask if they offered one.
we decided to sit outside the shop on one of the benches to enjoy our ice cream! im so glad we stopped at pinks! both flavors that we got were delicious! it was the perfect way to start our last day before heading home!

Very, very good ice cream! Creamy and delicious! Kona mud pie was my favorite, the sorbets were also very good. My husband had a refreshing smoothie, and my sister in law loved her grilled cheese! Definitely a good stop for some scrumptious dairy!

This place was deeeeelicious and I promise it’s not just because I went after an 8 mile hike. The coconut ice cream was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had.
My boyfriend and I each had a smoothie, both were fresh and fruity, perfect post hike.

Cute little place! The flavors all looked really good. I went for the chocolate macadamia, and it was rich and delicious. Very friendly staff as well.

This area does not have many food options but the ones that are here are very good. This is a tiny quaint little store just off the main street that serves some delicious grilled cheese and great ice cream. And a nice plus… the employee at the counter was a beautiful girl with a European accent (German?) accent.
The reviews are right, the coconut ice cream was awesome, super creamy and delicious. I also had the pineapple grilled cheese which is toasted sweetbread with muenster cheese and pieces of pineapple. It came with potato chips and a slice of pickle which was a good compliment to the grilled cheese. I could eat this everyday, sooo good. Two thumbs way up!

We all loved Pink’s. Located around the corner in a little strip mall the customer service is great and so is the ice cream. Multiple visits on this trip but they close early so don’t wait too late.
