Good food but just good… extremely rude… Called in my order and as soon as I said that was all I was told «20 min» and then I was hung up on. Zero verification! Then when I got there to pick up order they didn’t have one of the meals I ordered in stock. I was then felt rushed to pick a new meal.
(Probably should of not hung up on me!!) Been here 3 times now… Believe this will be the last.

I’ve been going here all my life and it’s always been excellent. The food is very fresh and delicious. You should try the crunchy beef. It’s amazing.
The service is awesome as well. Ken has been there since it opened. He’s very friendly and always willing to suggest something new.

This place has been here for ages! When I was in High School in 1987, my Driver’s Ed teacher used to make us drive to this place so he could pick up his lunch. Still looks exactly as it did 30 years ago. Food is reliably adequate to good.

After reading all the great views we had high hopes. Called food in and was told 20 mins and it end up being another 25 mins after showing up about 30mins after calling. Rice was ok, seemed like it has been frozen before. Chicken finger and crab raccoons were very bad. Will will not being returning. Could have been a bad night for them but it was so bad we will not try it again.

Very fast at a very good price. Food was ok. Wonton soup had great broth, and a LOT of wontons (almost too many) were just ok… a little over-​cooked. The person behind the counter (may have been owner) was very friendly. I will definitely try again and hopefully be able to add a star to the review.

The food here is great! The staff is very helpful with recommendations and accommodating with special orders. My Wife doesn’t like onions, but loves the rice noodles and lo mein. The gentleman who works the counter and answers the phones (day and night, weekdays and weekends!) is a very nice-​and obviously hard working man. I definitely recommend this place! I love the General Tso’s chicken, and the beef rice noodles. Give them a shot!

Good food. Always consistent in taste and the orange chicken is really good. When I’m in the mood for orange chicken this is the place I go to.

We were sadly disappointed. Some of the food you could tell was previously frozen and the rice was mushy. Not the best food we have had.

After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a shot. It was a Sunday evening and they were relatively busy. We didn’t realize it was essentially take-​out, but we were still able to dine in. We ordered from the combinations menu, mostly, and then sat and waited for the food. It was about a 25 minute wait, but when the food arrived, it was clear that the wait was because the food was made to order. Everything had… FLAVOR. Not just salt, not just oil, but actually flavor. I had the Lemon Chicken, my wife had the Chicken Chow Mein. Both were excellent. The quantity of food was astounding! We spent $ 38, but had enough left overs from two apps, two meals, to get 7 total meals out of it! Definitely worth the trip, but it IS a take-​out place.

Unbelievably amazing Chinese — don’t even hesitate and don’t bother going to the other nearby places (Ocean Wok, Peking Chinese Restaurant).
This was my first time here and I was blown away by the freshness, flavor, and the fact that I’m reminded of the Chinese food of the late ‘70s from places like Asia which was in Portsmouth or Kowloon in Saugus (when it was good).
Fast and cheap. The dining area looks nice as well if you wanted to eat in.
Highly recommended.

We’ve been to Asian Wok Express for take-​out many times and have always been very satisfied. The food is definitely is quite above the level of most other take-​out places we’ve tried.
The luncheon specials are a great deal.
The owner, quite quiet when you first meet him, has a great sense of humor once you get to know him.
Don’t bother with the other Asian/​Chinese take-​out places in Hampton and North Hampton, come here!

Great food made by a hardworking family!
We get food to go from there at least several times a month. The Pad Thai, General Tso’s Tofu, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Fingers, etc. are all excellent. Their fried rice is also killer!!!
It’s definitely a to go kind of place as the facilities are definitely lacking in ambiance, but that’s ok. Asian Wok, we love you!

Wow! Check out the really high ceiling at this Chinese restaurant. It feels like I’m at a car showroom.
Before heading over to the beach area, I stopped at Asian Wok Express for some lunch. The parking situation is a bit tight, limited parking along the adjacent wooden fence/​concrete jersey barrier, which separates an apartment complex. The layout of the restaurant is long and narrow with the takeout counter to the left (no open kitchen) and the casual dining room to the right and the ceilings are really high, enough for a second story, with plenty of natural light coming in.

I ordered Lunch Special T21: Shrimp Lo Mein ($ 5.95 plus tax) with pork fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and choice of soup, though I had to ask for the soup after I paid. The food was ready in 10 minutes. The lo mein was wide tender noodles and tender shrimp and vegetables. The spare ribs were very sweet and chewy and the hot & sour soup was excellent, a good spicy taste. I couldn’t finish the food in one sitting, so I had the tasty leftovers later on for dinner.
