It is rare that I give out 5 stars, but this place deserves it. The menu selection for breakfast and lunch is interesting, creative and tastey! The location is great as the selection of food is better than at the beach and more affordable than at the restaurants near the inlet. It has nice beachy, clean décor. The staff were pleasant and service prompt. He prices were pretty good for the Hamptons. You’d spend just as much at Paneras.

for the times i visit the hamptons, i aways end up here for breakfast. Phenomenal items from the griddle. Great lunch options as well. Worth the 10 minute drive from Southampton.

Much improved wait time…10 minutes despite the herd of people arriving for breakfast. And they redeemed themselves by using a better grade lox. Now all the place has to do is add much needed tables and chairs outside so people are not hovering to take over your seat. You have my vote again!

Great little place off of Shinnecock Rd. We stopped by with our family and they had something for everyone, great specials! We would definitely go back.

WORSTANDSMALLEST(with a pkg. Of Nasty arse Kens Blue Cheese dressing) $ 9.50 salad I ever had!!! And I did not get the grilled chicken on it… and it was the same price… save your money, get a head of lettuce and make your own salad. Place has close to no other options for a vegetarian. Though service was quick…

We came here for lunch after the 5K today. It’s more like a sandwich and salad counter than a store. I had a Bahia wrap(it was basically a burrito with chicken, rice, tomato, cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, sour cream) and I added avocado. It was sizable and filling. The chicken had those funky grill marks the taste that goes along with that so that wasn’t my fav. The rest of the stuff inside the tortilla was great. We also got an order of curly fries which were yummy. The bathroom is weird. You have to get a key with a super huge wood block on it and then go around to the side of the building to an unmarked door. Seriously put a sign on the door… it was weird. Clean once inside but getting there was a little sketchy. I guess I’d come back but I can imagine there are many other better places around.

Very good sandwiches, good vegetarian options. I have had the eggplant panini and the veggie burger. They messed up my veggie burger(meat instead of veggie), we called them, they made a new one, then drove it down to the beach for us. Sure is nice when they go the extra mile.

After reading Maxta’s review(and being somewhat of a buffalo chicken afficionado myself) I had to try this place. Actually kinda surprised I haven’t tried it before having lived here for so long. I guess I always thought of it as just a farmstand but the first thing I noticed as I pulled up was a rather large outdoor seating area(the only seating area from what I could tell) and a surprisingly deep(over-ambitious?) menu. Once inside, there is a narrow retail area where you can pick up some sunblock or cheap shades on the way to the beach. Now, on to the food. Yes, they are slow. Two high school girls behind the counter, one of whom took my order. It wasn’t until about 8 minutes later that the one girl realized the cook hadn’t picked up the ticket yet as I heard her shout back to him that he had an order. An older couple were milling about who I took to be the owners, one of which asked if I were being helped. Another 7 – 10 minutes later, with buffalo chicken wrap in hand, I departed. Well, I was sad to discover that Maxta was indeed correct. There was nothing remotely ‘Buffalo’ about this wrap, save for a watery sauce that looked as if you took the bottom of a tabasco bottle, filled it with water and added a drop of mayo and shook it. The worst part was the deluge of ‘sauce’ that ran out of the bottom and onto my new pants, but oh well. The chicken itself was crispy and tasty, as was the lettuce. And overall, not bad, given the $ 9 price tag. But buyer beware, this chicken is no more ‘Buffalo’ than I am. I will certainly be heading back to check out the rest of the menu the next time I am returning home from the beach.

Place recently sold to new management. It is still a nice little road side place, but there is less of a focus on lite food, it’s expanded it’s menu to basically and homemade fast food. Almost dinner-ish with breakfast, burgers, chicken fingers and fries. Still have lite items and they make good smoothies, but the focus of the place has definitely shifted. The outdoor seating is nice. Wish there was one in my neighborhood.

I remember falling for the cute quaint look of a little place on a residential road just before the beaches… not once but twice… and waiting too long for a quick breakfast… go if you want to hang out awhile and get your coffee while waiting… maybe 2. 75 stars if there were quarter stars but not 3 lol

Much more of a short order grill than a «grocery store», Green Door has good sandwiches and a friendly staff. Easily the best bacon/egg/roll in Hampton Bays, and their lunch menu features some truly delicious sandwiches and wraps. Outdoor seating is pleasant and prices are reasonable. They also deliver to the nearby beaches, but I usually stop in to pick up my order on the way. Definitely recommend

This is hands down the best place to get breakfast/lunch take-out in Hampton Bays. The sandwiches are fresh, creative and delicious and the prices are fair. Everyone is super friendly and service is reasonably quick even when the place is jammed. I also love all the fresh vegetables, fruits and plants for sale.
