Key Nails

I don’t mind waiting but I waited for over an hour and my wait was never acknowledged by a thank you for your patience. I had asked for a regular manicure instead of gels because I would not be near a salon for a few weeks and needed to be able to remove the polish easily myself. A female who worked there stated that the OPI polish I requested would only last a day or so… she was not pleasant and quite forceful. I don’t recall manicures only lasted a day or two in the past before gel manicures came out and took her comment with a grain of salt. The male who helped me sanded off my gel manicure with a dremel type tool… I have had gels in the past and never had anyone remove them this way. They were always soaked off. He rushed through the manicure barely allowing time to dry between coats and did not apply the nail polish evenly. The polish was also not applied all the way to the tip. I have done a better job myself at home. The lady was right, I have an office job and the manicure had already started to look worse and chip after a day or two. I went to remove the polish tonight and realized after feeling the sting from the polish remover and looking closely at my nails that many had been sanded down to the nail bed. I live out of state, not sure how i can go about getting my money back but I am definitely going to do my part to warn others.

Made an appointment and did not get the tech I requested. Why do these places even accept appointments if they’re not going to give you who you requested !!!
Ticks me off!!!
I’m giving 4 stars because it was WAY more friendly than the salon I use to go to.
And the tech I did get was a bit rough but he did do a good job so I’m not hating.
He gave me coupons for me and some to give to my friends, which was nice.
If you need an awesome pedi, Lin works there, give her a try she’s a lovely, friendly
lady!
All in all it wasn’t a bad experience and my nails look good!
