Polish Delis in the southlands of Chicago are few and far between… so its nice to have a place like MJ’s in the area. I discovered this place a few years ago when I was looking for a place to get fresh Polish Sausage.
Their fresh polish sausage is very tasty with the right amount of spices.
Along with the wide variety of sausages, they sell other Polish items as well including Pierogi and a variety of soups (czrnina, Borscht, and Chicken Noodle to name 3).
This is a great place to stop for my fill of Polish food I can make at home.

This is a really good deli for some sandwhichs and soups. The service is good and friendly. The prices are very good for how much food you get. They have really great sausages too!

Amazing sandwiches, potato salad, and I’m sure everything else even though I haven’t tried it yet. I would give it 10 stars if I could. A little hidden gem in Hammond, IN. I will visit there every time I’m in town!
