Downloaded Unilocal solely to comment on Anna Marie Pratico. I had a great experience, every person in there cared not only about making sure I understood the quality of the ring and stones, but they also cared about me and my story. I visited 4 – 5 other«high end» jewelry stores including the big box names and I am glad this is where I made my purchase. With no corporate agendas, these people don’t beat around the bush and try anything odd. There were no fake smiles or judgments of my preferences for an engagement ring. I would strongly recommend this place for the serious buyer. I think if you’re just going to jewelry stores to look at pretty things in the window and just carouse, you’re at the wrong place. This place is where you go when you want to customize your ring, get top quality, and get educated on your purchase. Thank you for the wonderful experience Anna Marie Pratico!!! Rob

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring at Pratico Jewlers a few weeks ago. Fran was absolutely amazing and helped him design the perfect unique timeless engagement ring! I get so many compliments on my ring and I can’t help but smile everytime I see it! I was so pleased with my ring I had to go see them in person to thank them! The customer service is great and you can tell they really care! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend purchased a gemstone set in a thin gold band. Not knowing my size, the sales person sold him a very small size and told him I could bring it in to have it sized. Less than one month later I was back due to a clean break in the band. After this first fix, it happened exactly the same again two weeks later. When I brought it in for the second fix, they harassed me about how I cared for it and claimed that I was«wearing it too frequently». I work in a laboratory wearing gloves all day long, I do not wear jewelry until I arrive home for the day or if I am off for the day so I would hardly classify it as being worn too frequently! Yet again, soon afterward the ring split in the same spot for a third time. I was hesitant to drop the ring off and have to deal with their condescending and obnoxious attitude so I had my boyfriend drop it off for the third fix. They said this will be the last time they fixed it and afterward I would have to pay to have it fixed. Of course, the ring split again in the same way. A REAL jeweler explained that a gold band this thin should not have been sized so far from the original size of the band. These pratico fools apparently ruined the gold band to the point that it will never be strong enough and will continue to split in the same spot. $ 250 wasted on a ring that I can never wear and think about this each time I pass by their Route 33 store. Thankfully, my boyfriend learned his lesson before it came time to purchase an engagement ring. I hate to think of him spending thousands of dollars on a ring that I’ll wear forever and may have to fight tooth and nail with the folks at pratico.

I was in the market for an engagement ring last year. Among many jewelers, I entered this Pratico store located on Route 33. I was initially impressed with the selection, as other neighboring stores seemed more limited. Unfortunately that’s about as far as the ‘good’ ends. I was not too keen with how aggressive the salesman/owner was. My request for a ring(round stone) was immediately ignored for the sake of pushing jewelery that he wanted to sell. I had managed to see a 2 carat ring that I did like, and was advised that it would be held for me while I continued to shop. After no luck elsewhere, I re-entered this store a mere few hours later in the same day hoping to purchase the ring. But the owner had left at this point, leaving his wife to act as a liaison. The two conversed quietly on the telephone for a few moments. She waved different rings in front of my face, while igoring the description that I provided to her. It became evident that after a few minutes, the two were not going to locate the ring that we initially agreed they would«hold». The two then proceeded to get into a heated argument on the phone, to which made it very uncomfortable for me. I decided to leave empty handed, and tippy-toed out of the store. I eventually ended up finding something much more beautiful and unique elsewhere. To anybody who is shopping for jewelery I would advise to shop here with caution. Very pretentious dude selling jewelery here.
