I have personally found the owner here to be a super-​friendly and honest antique, precious metal and fine art dealer. If someone else can help you better with your needs, he will tell you. If someone else has a higher rate than he can give, he will encourage you to sell it to them instead. I’ve heard both of those things happen while in the store. You don’t find that kind of honest service much anymore.
I got a superb John Von Wicht painting here at a very fair price, my friend got a very nice Russian lacquer piece for a price much better than eBay (and the quality was top notch too as the owner seems to only deal in the best examples) and when selling him gold & silver, he has been very open about each transaction showing me every step of the way. I have found he pays better than other places for gold & silver. A couple of my family members have also gone here and have been satisfied. As a tip, I always call ahead for hours as they seem to vary.
