I love Taco Casa, but this particular franchise is horrible I’m not sure if it’s lack of training or just lack of work ethic by the employees. Every time I go through the drive through my tacos are either smushed or so overly stuffed everything falls out of the taco. It’s just so disappointing. Management needs to step it up

Everytime I come here they seem to mess my order up. It’s simple chilada with olives on the side. Taco lite no tomatoes! It’s not that hard if they would just slow down and look at the screen this wouldn’t be a problem.

I don’t often complain about food, but in this case I must. I just moved to Texas from Chicago and keep trying new things. This however was so far the worst I have experienced. I ordered the meat burrito. Just the fact that it’s called a meat burrito should have been a red flag, right? But I figured I was already there. Just awful. The meat was more like a paste, and was very hard to get down. I also ordered two tacos, one of which I threw out. Should have gone with my gut and went to Taco Bell!

After discovering Taco Casa, I haven’t stepped inside a Taco Caca in about 3 years. Good food, cheap and their sweet tea is always good. I like this location, and the staff is always friendly.

These places seem to be popular, and the only question I have is; why? Driving home from work a few days ago, and I wanted to try something new. I’d seen a lot of people coming and going from this place. That made me think it must be good. Whoa, I was wrong. I tried to order a quesadilla, they don’t serve quesadillas. What kind of Mexican place doesn’t serve quesadillas? Taco Casa, that’s who. So after ordering a standard burrito, I tore into the packaging. Disappointing. The tortilla was cold, the cheese was cold, and the beef was so greasy, I couldn’t even finish it. Never again Taco Casa, never again.

Wi-Fi(none) Electrical Outlets(none) Taco Casa is just one of those things that you’re either going to love or hate. For me, I come here(this is my usual Taco Casa) because the tea tastes good for the price($ 1REALLY Large Tea) even if it’s a little watered down for my taste. Plus the super menu items are filling and CANBE inexpensive if you know what to order(I usually stick to the Super Burrito, Super Tostada, Taco Lite, and/or $ 1 Bean Burrito(with mild sauce). I usually only need to order one super item, and maybe a bean burrito if I’m feeling hungry. I love the taste of the cheese(which is freshly shredded in-store) and I’m always impressed with the quality of the produce used as well(the tomato actually tastes like a tomato). And as far as consistency, I don’t think you could find another Mexican fast food restaurant that can seem to keep the food tasting the same every single time you visit(especially a Taco Bueno, geez…). Finally, the last thing that makes Taco Casa so great for me is the speed of service(if you dine in, the drive-thru can be slow regularly). I can order my food, turn around to get a straw, and by the time I get the straw into the cup they are calling my name. Fantastic!!! I can see why some people have a problem with Taco Casa(too salty for some people’s taste, the price of some menu items). But for me, Taco Casa is easily in my top 3 go-to fast food places.

I have been told that this Taco Casa recently opened. Upon walking in, you can totally tell. Everything is clean. The two times I have eaten there so far have been good. The workers are friendly, the food is hot and fresh, and the lobby was spotless. I do have two small things that have taken this review down from five stars. 1. They don’t have trash cans. They want you to leave all of your trash on the table. This sounds great, until you have something you need to dispose of(like if someone spills & you have napkins etc). 2. The lobby is sort of small. This is a re-done Braums, so they left the slide-open doors. This eliminates some seat space and lets the cold/hot air in every time the doors open or close. Overall, this is our new«home» Taco Casa to visit. During our short time in Ft. Worth each year, it is important for us to find delicious places such as this. Hopefully you will give it a try! Authentic it isn’t, but it is good!
