Dyer Appliance Repair

I choose them based on past Unilocalers and got burned. WARNING to any future customers — be prepared to have your home phone number posted by this company on the internet.
WOW! By the way… it is illegal for any company to release customer’s personal contact information without their consent.
Although they were super quick to service our machines. I find it odd that the service fee is so high just to look at an appliance and then Dyer appliance bills their labor on top of the service fee without applying any of that to the actual repair. They did tell me the service fee over email, prior to the service. However, it was my assumption they would apply that to the repair and that’s MY fault for not asking to be more clear.
So because of that — I am posting this review on here so other customers can ask the right question or choose another vendor beforehand that doesn’t charge this fee. I know there are other companies around that apply the service call fee to the repair. I should have contacted others.
It would be like going to the mechanic for a diagnostic, getting the diagnostic, being charged the fee twice for two engine problems, then paying for the repair parts and then being charged for hourly labor on top of that, when I’ve already paid more than the hourly labor for the diagnostic, which took fifteen minutes.
There are too many appliance places that don’t double dip around, I wouldn’t use them again. Shame on me for not doing more research. By the way, after I posted this I got an email saying this review was unfair. But I disagree, that’s what Unilocal is about — to post your experiences on here so customers can see both the bad and the good.

I have used this business for repairs to my washer/​dryer on several occasions. The technician was on time, able to complete repairs satisfactorily, and was careful while accessing the units because they had to be moved away from the wall in a small area. In my opinion the technician went above and beyond by sharing insight on current brands and reliability when I decided to replace the washer and dryer. There are only three service related businesses that I recommend to friends with confidence and this is one of them.

Couldn’t ask for better service. Great people doing great jobs. Thank you for such professional service. We will call on you again.
