Uncle Louie G’s in Hallandale Beach is the most delightful place. Full of color, full of fun, and wonderful ice cream, ices and extraordinary treats. The owner is a terrific guy, and he does special events and outings, sometimes in a full Uncle Louie G. costume! The ice cream is top quality– few other ice creams even compare. I go there often, and I bring my dog, who loves ice cream!

I have drove past this spot so many times and decided to give it a try! I am so happy I did! The ice cream parlor is very clean and colorful. As I walked in I tried about 4 different flavors and got myself a pint size of the tropical mix which has mango, cherry, and passion fruit, along with the nypd blue raspberry! Ugh I love it! My taste buds can’t thank me enough. My boyfriend got the cookies and cream 2 scoops on a waffle cone and it was amazing! You can definitely taste the quality of the ice cream! Uncle Louie G’s will be my go to spot for ice cream from now on!

Great selection in both Italian ices and ice creams! I’m sure they have flavor for almost any taste bud. Great quality, prices and services. Will definitely check this place out again!

I can’t find a reason to take a star away, so 5 stars for you Uncle Louie G. This place is legit and if you talk to the people behind the counter, the italian ice and ice cream are the same formula as the chain found in Brooklyn. We were told you can choose two different flavors. Even the smallest size came with two scoops. I opted for the small and it was plenty filling(at a reasonable $ 3.50). An assortment of flavors to choose from on both the italian ice side and the ice cream side. Italian ice is water based, so the healthier way to go. But I love my creamy ice cream. So I chose 1 scoop italian ice, 1 scoop ice cream. They do have plenty of signs that warn you of only being able to sample 3 flavors, so choose wisely. They obviously know how to keep me coming back. I sampled the pistachio in both ice and cream, and ordered half pistachio ice, half brooklyn cheesecake ice cream. The pistachios had real nuts mixed in and the cheesecake had cheesecake bites mixed in. It was like a Willy Wonka moment of «The snozberries taste like snozberries… Who’s ever heard of a snozberry?!»(sorry, off track…) I love how the two textures compliment each other. So when I return I will stick to the same game plan, but I can’t wait to try many more of their flavors! The location is in a small strip mall off Hallandale Beach Blvd with parking on the backside. It’s in the same complex as La Granja. It is a bit hidden, which may explain why it was empty when we came. Or possible because they have only been open since March. Either way, I’m glad to have you in the neighborhood, Uncle Louie.
