Crown Cleaners

Susan is an exceptional seamstress. She does great work. Alterations are expensive anywhere, but she is worth it and turn around time is good. Dry cleaning competitive for Coastside. Parking is difficult in this lot, but we can’t have everything especially here in HMB. I have never had anything damaged or lost like at the other cleaners in HMB. Give them a try!

After my daughter’s wedding I took her wedding dress and my dress to Crown Cleaners to have it cleaned. They were very nice when I dropped the two dresses off and said they’d be happy to clean them and not to worry they would take very good care of the wedding dress. Before I left she told me how much it was going to cost and I thought I was going to pass out. I went in about a week later to ask her if they were at least going to preserve the wedding dress and put it in a box and she said «no». I told her I thought they should at least do that with what I was paying to have the dress cleaned. I know it’s expensive to have wedding dresses cleaned, but that was ridiculous. When the dress’ were ready I picked them up and then I find out they didn’t return the garment bag that came with the dresses, they even took them!!! All I got was the clear plastic bags that they use for all the dry-​cleaning. I’m very upset with the quality of the service, especially for a wedding dress. This is something that will have special memories for a lifetime for my daughter and I would like for the dress to be stored in a proper way so that it doesn’t yellow. I guess now I need to go to another dry cleaners that will preserve the dress.

I went to get my pants altered and even though their price is $ 15 vs. other places are less the lady is very nice and she does good work. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because it’s very hard to find parking if you have a big suv like me they are next door to twice as nice and the parking lot is always full.
