We tried three times to give the«new» owners a fair chance. This used to be our go to spot for steak. I had my mom’s funeral dinner in the back room when it was Diamond Jim’s and it was flawless. Out of town relatives wanted them to open one in Michigan it was that good. NOTSOWITHTHENEWOWNERS. 3 visits, sent our raw steaks back each time when medium was ordered. Chewy wet onion rings, oily fish, canned generic mushrooms served in water in a bowl instead of with the steak(1st time with these owners mushrooms came with the steak-sautéed and delicious-not any more) bad and slow service once, owner was sitting at a table chatting instead of getting my bill after coming to our table to address concerns. It wasn’t all bad but it’s average at best. I say pass it by and try Milwaukee Steak House for a bit more $$.

Went with friends to try the Friday Fish Fry, the fry was good… I recommend it. What I was blown away by was their Clam Chowder… Now I am a nice Irish Boy with family roots from Boston and Ireland and would put their Chowder on the same stage as any of the best I have had in Boston. Next time will go and just keep ordering the soup… a nice, quaint place.

This is one of the Best steak houses in the Milwaukee area !! The owners Diane & John make you feel like family every time you come in, their attention to detail is impressive from a family owned business. The steaks are absolutely perfect every time. The home made Banana Cream Pie is a true treat it’s a must try. Once again the food is truly amazing and the service is excellent but best of all the ownership is outstanding !! Making sure your dinning experience is over the top !!!

This place has not been owned by Diamond Jim for over a year, they have gone through a lot of chefs and the food has been inconsistent. prices have gone longer going to this restaurant.

This is where my husband took me for my birthday dinner. We both had the beer battered cod and I had the potato pancakes and husband had the fries but the waitress brought him a potatoe pancake to try because he’d never had one! We were both 100% happy and to top it off i had banana cream pie And Tim had lava cake. Again.100% satisfied. The staff was so friendly. Everyone from a phone call before we arrived from hostess to waitress and as we left another sweet staff member thanking us for coming!!! We will share this good venue! And great people!

In the annals of dining disappointments Stoneridge Inn Supper Club did a wonderful job of culinary incompetence. In retrospect, I definitely would pass up the opportunity to join the mostly senior citizen clientele in food, drinks and entertainment. This is a supper club that failed dramatically preparing the simplest of appetizers — chicken wings! First off I ordered a pint beer of the Spotted Cow variety and the bartender set it in front of me and spouted out, «Five». I then asked for a food menu and she replied a waitress will be right with you; keeping the tab open. When my wait staff arrived, I asked what flavors of wings are available. Unfortunately I was informed they only come in hot or mild. Wouldn’t a supper club have something like BBQ sauce? Uh, duh. As hunger was getting the best of me I asked for 2 orders of the mild chicken wings with a side of Ranch and a side of Blue Cheese dressing for the carrots and celery relish tray. The couple next to me at the bar were eating shrimp cocktail with a wonderful bowl of sliced carrots and celery. The shocking surprise was the chicken wings were completely overdone, nearly incinerated. And there was absolutely no coating of «mild» sauce at all. They were nude; just plain old(and I mean old quite literally) chicken wings that must have been frozen in a bag because they were appalling. All I could taste was the fry oil and that was not one bit appetizing. No carrots or celery ever arrived. Then to top it off if you could make matters any worse than they already were the check was inflated by my server. My five dollar beer was handsomely billed at $ 5.50. The second order of chicken wings I took home in a take-out box. The next morning they were properly disposed of in the garbage. I left feeling totally disgusted and angry like I was being intentionally harmed by Stoneridge Inn Supper Club. By my personal experience dining there if you are considering visiting this establishment I’d ask yourself — why?

If you’re not a «regular» or friend of the owners, stay away! Not an inviting environment.

Second worst fish fry I ever had, the worst was at the bowling alley up the road, the bowling alley served deep fried perch skin. Stoneridge cod has some meat with your fish fry oil, potatoe pancakes were so oily I couldn’t eat a half of one, I had to pick off the fry material off the fish to nake that eatable, sorry food is bland and not inspired, wish I could have tried the banana pie but after all that oil I needed to get home to wait for the aftermath.

Husbabd and I decided to try this place out. Mainly because we heard the banana cream pie was to die for ! So we went in at 4 staff very friendly and greeted us like we were old friends ! Very much liked the friendly atmosphere. We ordered the fried shrimp & fried sea scallops dinner was awesome! Then we had the famed banana cream pice and let me tell you … It was amazing we will definitely be regulars.

Stopped in after reading the great reviews on Unilocal. That was a mistake! Food was mediocre at best, a lot of it was just frozen reheated dishes with some fresh add ins. Not really any seasonings on any side dishes at all. If you want steamed vegetables, that’s all you get! No seasoning at all! Ordered at 6:15pm didn’t revive any apps or bread for at least 30 mins. Didn’t get meals until 8pm!!! It wasn’t even busy! We ordered three dishes. Had the grilled salmon which was ok but not for the price, garlic mashed potatoes were garlic with mashed potatoes. Also had ordered steak and it was rubbery and without any seasoning. Also came with frozen shrimp and was not cooked correctly. Asked for med rare without any mushrooms and came well done with mushrooms. Also had jumbo shrimp that were fresh frozen and where not very jumbo. 2 of us ordered soup and the waitress came out later to let us know they ran out and also informed the tables next to us of the same. The ONLY saving grace was our waitress. She was fantastic given the terrible food and wait time. Her name was Christine and she was visibly frustrated with the situation and the owners. She paid for our drinks and our apps and even offered to give us free dessert which we didn’t take. The price was way off base for everything too. My salmon was almost $ 22 and the small unseasoned steak with frozen shrimp was on special for the low price of $ 18. I would expect the price to be around $ 12 per plate based on what we received. Ridiculous… Overall it’s the same restaurant it was as Diamond Jims or whatever the name was. Food was terrible the last time we visited and the stellar reviews were the only thing that made us go again. I would NEVER go again! F–

Classic Milwaukee supper club! Saturday evening supper includes a centegenarian singer on a keyboard, Shirley Temples with cherries for the littles, and prime rib specials. I’m not a big prime rib eater, but my husband and in-laws rave about the prime rib here. The servings are huge! Meals include a salad or soup and some variety of potato(try the twice-baked — yum!). The shrimp cocktail apps also are a must try. And the chocolate lava cake… mmmmmmmmm… It only gets three stars because the non-red meat dishes are kind of meh. Service on a recent visit was quick, but the server was kind of snippy. Also, prices are on the high side. All in all, a solid three stars and a ‘give it a try’ is certainly in order.

The Stoneridge Inn has been around for many years with various owners and is a fine restaurant. New owners took over this January. I must say we were disappointed. We ordered the Friday baked cod. The fish was very good, but the potato pancakes looked and tasted like McDonalds hash browns. The service was average at best. The wait was longer than projected. We will return again on another day and see if the experience is better when less crowded. JF

Amazing food. Very easy to get a table. Food selection and drink is above expectations. The new owners are very welcoming and customer centric. The staff is friendly and prompt. Really enjoyed the fish fry on Friday. The new mozzarella sticks on the menu as an appetizer are truly the best.

I get a lot of people messaging me about places to go for a great dining experience. I want to get this place on my list. I know they may be famous for the fish, but I come for the steaks. The fish may be great too, but I have not had it. The master chef makes steaks just the way you want em.(Nothing like Highlands, for those of you who remember that place!) Real nice new owners. I think the old owner, Jim went to focus on his daughter’s place??? The menu did not appear incredibly different, but I did not spend that much time on it. I went with a big group, Larry and Judy were there, Sam and Lisa were too. We all left satisfied. Ice cold beer too. This time of year, that is normally is not a problem, but I remember the beer tasted like angels making out with my taste buds. The service was top notch, I can’t really think of anything bad to say about our experience. Additional parking in the rear.
