Great food and our server was awesome! She went above and beyond and made us feel very comfortable. The food was also fantastic and we liked the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to a friend!!!

We had a great time tonight. John, the manager is super nice. The wait can be long but they move quickly. The starter bread is very tasty and crusty. We had the Pub Pretzel appetizer. It comes with a beer cheese dip and a honey mustard dip, both are good but the mustard one is actually my favorite. Tonight I had the Steak Frites, it was amazing! The flavor is great, a nice full garlic and rosemary sauce. The steak has great texture and the fries are yummy with the gravy on them. My husband had the pork chops and mashed potatoes. He said they were really good, he just wished he had some Lawry’s. I really like the Caesar salad too. We ended with the Chocolate Stampede cake, which was to die for. But save room for it, it’s crazy rich! I have also had the parmesan crusted steak which is super tasty. There were a lot of families with young children. Just something to know if you try to avoid that. But even when they’re busy the noise level isn’t so high that you can’t have a conversation. We’ll be back! Shout out to Melissa M., our awesome waitress!

Went there for my wife’s birthday, with our daughter and the 3 grandchildren. It was a Saturday evening and the place was busy. Waited about 20 minutes, as they indicated, and was seated at a round table. Our server seemed very attentive at the beginning, however a large party was added to her area, and she lost control. Unfortunately we waited(without exaggeration) ten minutes before anyone came to see that all of us had completed our meals, and were awaiting an opportunity to order dessert with all of the dirty plates still on the table. The second server asked if we needed take home boxes, and I advised her that we would like to have the table cleaned and order a dessert, she commenced to argue with me about the fact that they were busy, serving a large party. I stated, that wasn’t me problem. She got an attitude and left. Needless to say, no one ever cleaned our table, and I had to flag down our server to try and get our check. I will say that the food we ordered was good. However, when running a restaurant you need the whole package, good food, and good service. This place meets you only half way.

My boyfriend and I decided on having the porterhouse for two($ 44) comes with two sides and two salads. The salad was super fresh and very tasty with the dressing and went well with the bread they give you before your meal. Personally I wasn’t blown away by the steak. It was cooked the way we wanted it, for me it was the flavor. No seasoning, not even salt n pepper, not that I could tell. The«loaded» baked potatoes were a good size but lacked on the loaded part. I had to ask for extra sour cream becuz it was a bit dry. Our waitress Melissa M. Was very sweet and on point. She made my meal a lot better. Her table side manner was very sweet and personable. The place it self was clean and very inviting. I would definitely go back. I still want to try the filet. All in all not a bad meal, thankfully we had a $ 50 gift card which covered 90% of our bill. I may not have given four stars if it wasn’t for that and our waitress Melissa!

It’s my favorite restaurant I came to visit friends in Milwaukee and they ask me: what I want for dinner? I asked if there is Long horn at the city. We got our favorite course and service was amazing. We enjoy our dinner I highly recommending this stake house to everyone

This location didn’t meet our expectation today. Our chicken appetizer was yummy, love the dipping side. My entrée, renegade steak medium well was mediocre(lacked flavor and was pretty dried).

I went here a few weeks ago with my family. Service was incredibly slow for a Thursday night. There weren’t many other tables so we figured it would be rather quick. We ordered our food at 6:15pm, and we did not receive our dinner until close to 7:10pm. The waiter apologized for the wait, but continued to blame it on the kitchen staff. We have two small daughters so by the time our food came we had to rush to eat because they had become so antsy. Both of our steaks were medium so it should not have taken close to an hour to cook our meals. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. Highly doubt I will return. This was actually the second time we had a less than amazing experience.

Recently, my husband and I had dinner here with some friends. Having never been to a Longhorn Steakhouse, I was anxious to check it out. The food was decent, and our server was friendly. However, there were a couple of missteps during our visit. The first misstep occurred when our friends ordered a side of chips to go with their meals. The chips never arrived. The second one occurred when one of our friends ordered the prime rib. He ordered it rare. What they brought out was not rare. It was more like medium well, with barely any pink. It was sent back, and the next piece that came out was also not rare. After that, the manager came over to our table and informed them that they did not have anymore rare pieces of prime rib. I will give them credit, though: at least they comped his meal for him for all the trouble. My husband and I had a better experience with our meals. I had the Renegade Sirloin & Redrock Grilled Shrimp. The shrimp are glazed with smoky tomato butter and come with a garlic butter dipping sauce. The steak was cooked the way I like it(rare) and the shrimp was delish. The appetizer that we shared with our friends was also good. We had the Best of Longhorn Sampler, which contains Wild West Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Firecracker Chicken Wraps. The stuffed mushrooms and the shrimp were my two favorites. I understand that sometimes things can happen, and that we all make mistakes. That’s why I would be willing to give this place another try.

Yum! I enjoy eating at LongHorn Steakhouse. The appetizers are pretty good. My favorite is the corn fritters. Deep fried, crispy outside and sponge corn goodness on the inside. The chicken strawberry salad is amazing. I would ask them to go light on the dressing because sometimes the lettuce comes drenched in the dressing. Steak… my family eats it like it is going out of style.

Went here tonight to celebrate my birthday! Long horn Steakhouse is part of the same chain family as Red Lobster and Olive Garden and I would say it’s comparable to the two. I got the grilled tilapia with mango salsa and Jake got a burger of some sort. Both were tasty dishes! Bonus I got a free giant ice cream sundae for my birthday! Everything was pretty good, although nothing outstanding.

Not the best place I’ve been to, but I’ve also been to worse. The sirloin I had was to die for! Probably the best steak I’ve had in a long while. Our waitress was pretty friendly but could have been more attentive considering we were only one of 3 couples in the whole place. My partner ordered the garlic parmesan fries and they were nothing like we expected. Regular fries with a powder on top that doesn’t even stay on as you take a bite. What’s the point for so much money extra? And to make matters worse, they literally came out cold. COLD! The manager fortunately was very apologetic and brought us some fresh fries later. Overall could have been better.

Chicken shit operation !! After the sincerely apologetic waitress dumped greasy brown something on my wife’s WHITE blouse. The manager Dimitri took over and handed me three five dollar certificates to use on a future visit… like that will happen!!! Since we were trying to use up a certificate from a previous«bad steak issue» that we thought maybe was a little cheesy and possibly my fault? No question about it «CHICKENSHIT». NEVER made an attempt to TRY to pay for the cleaning of my wife’s blouse… NEVER attempted to comp us our dinners… SORRY corporate that does not cut it! My wife and I being 35 plus year veterans of the food service business(retired) would NEVER have let this go so wrong in one of our places. Dimitri you will find your certificates torn up in your parking lot… if there would have been any potential customers outside I would have given them away because we won’t be back. To the waitress(cant remember your name) if there are ANY repercussions about this matter contact us threw Unilocal or Facebook and we will find you a job in food service you can be proud of. Remember«shit happens».

Steak is my favorite protein, and tonight, I was a happy girl :) Tonight was yet another fabulous experience at Longhorn, this must be my 10th visit in my life, not to this location, but in general. I logged into Unilocal and read the reviews before writing my own, and all I can say is please do not listen to the negative ones! Now don’t get me wrong, scroll down, and you will see a few 1 star reviews, however if I were spending the type of money that I do at Longhorn, you better believe that I would speak to a manager on the spot and demand a resolution. Now if I haven’t lost you yet, onto the service, food & ambiance… First, our server was a lovely girl named Kara, and she was beyond stellar, seriously the girl should make a video on YouTube to teach servers how to be perfect, because there are many people who could take a lesson, and no, I’m not even kidding. I’m a high-maintenance customer, not as bad as Meg Ryan/Sally in ‘When Harry Met Sally’ but almost, hahaha I kept asking for more iced water, another Coke Zero, an extra straw, and her reply was always, «not a problem» and she said it every time with a genuine smile too. I started with a bowl of the Grilled Chicken Tortilla Soup — Wow! If you think you have tried every version of tortilla soup, you are would be mistaken, this was different and in a good way. It was spicy, with a hint of smokiness(just a hint, usually I don’t care for smoky flavors), there was a huge chunk of avocado in my soup, that’s new, and a generous drizzle of sour scream on top as well, and a few little tortilla strips too, it even looked pretty! Not kidding, please see my photos, I took several. Next came my lovely salad, greens, diced cucumber, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes & onions, croutons, and their yummy ranch dressing, if it’s not Hidden Valley, it’s close enough for me. One of the best things about their salads is the fact that they are chilled. Now many people don’t know it, but that’s how steakhouse salads are supposed to be served, and few steakhouses get that correct, but Longhorn nailed it tonight, as always. The steak I chose tonight was the White Cheddar & Bacon Stuffed Filet, and it was cooked medium-rare and it was perfect, again please see my photos, I took 2 of my steak. Yummy! I’m already looking forward to my next visit and I will get this delicious steak again. Also, just a tip, on the menu they list it as a 6-ounce steak, but you can can also get an 8-ounce version, that’s what I ordered tonight, and I enjoyed every single bite, cutting into it was like cutting into butter, and I hate that saying but it’s applicable. I had steamed broccoli with my steak and it was perfect as well. No dessert tonight, we were both just too full, and I am trying to limit my carbs, limit not cut entirely, hence the soup, haha. If I had ordered dessert, we would have chosen their delicious & decadent dessert called Chocolate Stampede. You just need to look at their online menu to get an idea, but it’s divine. I shared it on my last visit and will get it again in the future, the people in the next table ordered one and I almost caved and got one, but thought it will be better appreciated when I am less full, but I highly suggest, if you go here and have room in your tummy, share this dessert with someone, you will leave happy. 5 Star Service ~ Kara, You Rock! 5 Star Dinner ~ That steak, wow, one of my favorites! 5 Star Ambiance ~ Once again, please see my photos! Now I read the negative reviews, and I saw the«taxidermy” comment and I will tell you that if you are 100% anti-animal eating, or if you have never seen a mounted animal, well then perhaps this steak house is not for you. This is a steak house, country music plays in the background, there is a huge steer head mounted over the bar, and that is not a bad thing, in my opinion, especially for a steakhouse. Lastly I will add this is not Ruth’s Chris, but then, you will be paying less than Ruth’s Chris, and you will still have a wonderful steak dinner, great service and all in a pretty ranch style restaurant with a cowboy feel to it, please try Longhorn soon!

Stopped here after picking up family member from airport. Happy Hour with reduced appetizers, very good tasting calamari, shrimp tacos and corn fritters. Excellent! Entrees were very good. Our waitress had an issue with an immature, arrogant patron behind us and she handled the situation so professionally. However patron requested another wait staff… to which they were accommodated. Made us uncomfortable for her. The waitress gave us outstanding service, was attentive and very friendly. Will definitely frequent again!

Disappointing. Dropped in on a Monday night for my husband’s birthday, hoping for a decent steak. We did not get our wish. Some of our disappointment may be because of being spoiled by the truly great steakhouses in Milwaukee, but I think most of it is that this place is just subpar. Frankly, I didn’t have very high expectations anyway. My husband had a ribeye with a loaded baked potato and salad. He said the only thing noteworthy about the meal was that the salad was fresh. I had a chicken flatbread sandwich and it was fairly tasteless. I also tried the French Onion soup, which was pretty much all croûton and cheese and no soup. My son had a kids meal with Mac ‘n Cheese. Hard to mess that up. Our server wasn’t very attentive and certainly wasn’t happy about being at work. She was so low key she almost seemed depressed. I had to be one of those horrible customers who asks for a laundry list of things whenever the waitress comes over(napkins, ketchup, etc.) because she didn’t take any initiative to make sure we had what we needed for our meal. Bottom line: it’s off the list, as my husband would say.

We had a gift card to use so we both ordered a steak sandwich for lunch. I should have known something was off when the server didn’t ask how we’d like it cooked, but he had already left our table. so I just let it go. Sandwich came out and it was thinly sliced, tough overcooked beef. Think of it as a glorified Steak Umm. The menu described it as a «steak sandwich». There was no description or picture to lead us to believe it was NOT an ACTUAL steak. Overall disappointment.

I think it would be a stretch to find something genuinely nice to say about our experience. Our server was pleasant, but was given too many tables so service was slow. I don’t know why she had 5 tables when that was exactly how many parties were seated. Where’s the other staff? My husband and I ordered the same side salads but my salad came without cheese while husband’s salad had cheese. I’m not sure why. When the food came, the meat was overcooked. We ordered the meat medium-rare but they came medium-well. My sirloin had absolutely no flavor while my husband’s had too much flavor added. He said he couldn’t even taste the meat. When the bill came, it took a long time for our server to ring it up… probably because they had given her too many tables. Even after our gift cards, we spent $ 10. The meal was not worth even that. We will not be back.

We have only been here for lunch on Saturdays. The service has been very good and the food quality very good. As a previous reviewer stated«there is taxidermy every where» is not true. It’s a contemporary«western steakhouse» look. Much nicer than Texas Roadhouse, but I digress. The Green Tomato BLT was good, but a belly bomb, ordered broccoli on the side, only could finish half the sandwich. Shared Corn Fritter app with hubs, very tasty and don’t need the sauce. Hope it stays on the menu! Hubs had Bacon Cheddar Burger. He said it was fine. They only do medium. I would stick with our local favs for steak dinners — but for a relaxing lunch — we like Longhorn Steakhouse.

Update: I have gotten an email from their HR regarding my last review from my last visit 4 months ago. Asked me of what happen during my visit and asked for details. 4 months have passed and no reply back no thank you no nothing so now I totally understand why business like this receive such poor ratings. I’m not here to look for free stuff I just believe that if you are contacted by the company’s PR I’d at least get a follow up. That’s the last I’ll be visiting that location and I’ll be sure to pass along to others not to visit this location! (letter enclosed on bottom) Hi Shaun E. — Thank you for giving us a try. Sadly, it does not sound like we created the sort of atmosphere that allowed you to dine in comfort. Sorry for letting you down on this occasion. Would you please contact me at when you have a moment? I hope to learn more about this. Sincerely, Justin S

Short story — food = 2 stars & service = 4 stars Long story: we stopped because we were at Southridge and none of us had ever eaten at a Longhorn before. They’re definitely trying for an «upscale» feel but it seemed a bit like a Texas Roadhouse and a Claim Jumper had a chain food baby. Interior: C New, and therefore clean. Lots of taxidermy, saddles & of course, animal horns. Fans of country music will be delighted. App: C The spinach dip was acceptable — cheesy and a little too salty. Food: C My steak was ordered medium and came out medium rare but I didn’t care enough to complain. The Mac& cheese side was waaaay salty(the addition of bacon doesn’t help) and mashed potatoes were pretty tasty. Everything was definitely over salted though. The prices aren’t cheap — most steaks are in the $ 20+ range. Someone compared Longhorn to Ruth Chris and ummm,…no. Just no. hubs had ribs which he described as «ok». Service: B+ Everyone here was super, super friendly. Almost«too» much, know what I mean? But we were checked on regularly and never waited for anything. Overall — it’s fine for what it is. Not bad, not great & over salted. Typical chain eats.
