The Pilot Travel Center is a welcome addition to Haines City. It offers another place to get gas on 27 other than Wal-​Mart, which I loathe and is always packed, and the Sunoco station where they still have the audacity to charge you more for paying at the pump with a credit card. What is this 1992?!
The Pilot station in addition to having lots of gas pumps has a large supply of snacks, both pre-​packaged and hot snacks such as pizza. They have a large selection of fountain beverages too. The restrooms are very clean. Finally, if you need something more substantial to eat there is a Cinnabon inside to quell your sweet tooth and a Denny’s.
