David’s bridal gave us an appointment time of 2:00. At 2:30 a consultant came to us. We helped her pull the dresses that we had thirty minutes to choose. She then came back forth to «help» us. There was a wide selection of dresses and sizes(I needed a very small size). With the help of my friends we decided on one after the consultant went to lunch. We also felt rushed from her asking which we liked best. Another consultant helped us more towards the end.

Stay away! My sister and I had a horrible experience with this store, its management and Marion, who is some kind of regional customer service manager(sp) both during the ordering of a bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses. My sister, the bride, and a few of her bridesmaids went in to try on and order the bridesmaid dresses. All went well. After the appointment, however, we called to check in on our bridesmaid dresses and were told they’d arrive on July 8th(two days after the wedding!). Obviously, that’s not going to work! We were never told about the ridiculously long shipping period for dresses ordered in-store. We thought it would be similar to online — two of the bridesmaids had already ordered in store and the dresses were shipped within a week. Why is there such a huge difference?! It makes no sense. The worst part was, during the whole ordeal of trying to get someone to find our dresses somewhere to ship in time for the wedding, we contacted their corporate offices to complain about the customer service frustration we were experiencing. Well, even after we thought the ordeal was finally over, Marion, who is some kind of regional manager for the company, made a harassing phone call to the bride when she found out we had contacted corporate with our concerns. Is this is the kind of person you want fielding customer complaints and service issues? We were shocked by how hostile and combative she was. We also had several issues with the bridal gown ordering earlier in the year — including them ordering the gown in the wrong size. Luckily, we had time to get that fixed. We should have taken that as a hint of more problems to come. My recommendation would be to take your bridal business elsewhere if you want to stay stress-free during your wedding planning!

One of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to finding bridesmaids dresses. My sister’s soon-to-be sister-in-law asked her to be in her wedding this coming winter and Hagerstown’s DB was the closest place we could get to. They promptly greeted us at the door, where our helper, Kat, attended to us. Now, my sister is expecting, so she definitely needed a dress that could be altered depending on how much she’s showing during the wedding. Kat went above and beyond, showing us great, accessible dresses, as well as offered to contact my sister’s soon-to-be sister-in-law to let her know the information on the different dresses we picked. Definitely an A+ for service in my book. Thanks again, Kat, for all of your hard work(and for dealing with outrageous demands of crazy in-laws)!
