Yum! Love their wings. Pizza is pretty tasty too. Very generous with their toppings, and I love that they are a ‘mom and pop’ shop. Service is always friendly.

This Pizza place is The World’s Best! I’ve been a customer for over 39 years The pizza is always made the exact same every time. Never have I had a bad pizza from this place. The Sunday weekend barbecues are a force to be reckoned with as well. Great ribs and tri tip.

Always a favorite! We love their pizza. They have some great sandwiches, too. And, a decent antipasto salad. There’s only one big drawback: they don’t deliver! So, when we feel like having a relaxing evening at home, and plan on watching a movie on tv, or Svengoolie on a Saturday night, someone has to hop in the car and drive over there. But. it’s worth it!

One of the best pizzas around. I love the meatballs on a sandwich and on the pizzas. A weekly favorite.

It’s a Saturday night and your at home movie date is going terrible. You want a second date? Call this place! They don’t Deliver(for their own good reasons) but you phone order, hop in your car. Wait in their lobby and have a nice chitchat with the owner of the place(who is so awesome and might even crack a joke or two and save your sorry ass date) pick up great pizza with great real ingredients and a side of buffalo wings(to spice up the end of your night since we know this is as far as you’ll get), grab a soda and head home with awesome mouthgasm pizza. And bam. At least you’ll have a great convo about the pizza and your second date success is owed to this awesome lady who’s been making bomb pizza for 42 years . Love them. Great place. Great food !

Just went to worlds best pizza. Exceptional pizza and much more! On Sunday’s they have barbecue! The tri tip is great as well as the ribs and chicken. The coleslaw is made with pineapple and is the BEST(I am definitely not much of a coleslaw fan but this one is amazing) The pizza is definitely not the $ 5 hot n ready crap that we have been accustomed to eating sometimes:( Same owners for 42 years. Great pizza like it should be and overall great food. Mostly a to go place but worth a try if you are nearby.

Honestly this is one of the best pizza’s around. Only problem is they are so slow. If you come order in advance its much easier.

I love Worlds Best Pizza, because it feels like the last Mom and Pop joint out there… I feel like I’m stepping into a time machine where people take pride in what they’re doing. I’ve never had a bad pizza from here ever… Whenever I order from here it’s like an event. Order pizza, make it a movie night or Netflix night… And just have fun with friends and family. That’s what I associate with WBP. There pizza is fantastic… But their sandwiches are amazing too. The tri tip sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine what type of business they would do if they delivered… However, I have no problem going in and picking up! Highly recommended!!!

I wanted to love this place and I keep trying hoping the food gets better, but once again I feel let down and like I wasted 19 $(for a small 2topping and order of garlic bread). I love to eat locally support extra but this is TERRIBLE pizza. The sauce the dough NO. I ordered bacon and mushroom and something ended up tasting FISHY. O couldn’t even finish the pizza neither could my husband and we will Eat anything. The garlic bread got a good review so we decided to try it out big mistake it was basically just French bread(not fresh) and butter. The pizza dough was blah and very hard on the bottom. Barely enough cheese that only covered half the slice. I really want this place to be good since its local and the owners seem nice but I felt I needed to give an honest review. It’s also a bit over priced for the quality.

Come for the pizza on friday, come back for great bbq on Sunday. I’m talking great bbq. Been to Lockhart, TX and this place rivals the best. Owner is friendly and knows value of connecting with customers. Visited on my first day in the neighborhood and she welcomed me in such a gracious way. But the food, that’s what really matters and it’s great.

I have been coming here for years and the pizza is always great. The toppings are no joke, whatever you want, they pile on. Not too much in which the pizza loses structure of course. The wings are tasty as well! Pizza and wings better than anywhere else, you just have to actually get off your ass and pick it up haha. Anyways, the family joke is that the dude working the cashier looks miserable/bored out his skull. I seriously try not to laugh when I see his emotionless and dull expression when I pick up my pizza hahaha. Major props to this establishment and that dude!!!

Pizza is my favorite type of food! And this place has been a favorite since I was 8 years old. One thing that throws a lot of people off is their attitudes and not delivering. But I must say they are a lot better with taking orders than they have in the past. But they still won’t deliver. I don’t mind thoe. Because their pizza is top notch. Worlds best has expanded their menu and also offer amazing BBQ. And guess what?!? It’s not a chain! There is only one which makes this place not only special but unique. Their pizza has great quality toppings and amazing cheese. I love pizza when the cheese is thick and stays on the pizza when you take a bite. You must try this pizza spot if your in the area!

The best pizza in Hacienda Heights. And I love looking at the pictures of the Highlander teams on the wall. If you played at Highlander in the 80’s like I did you remember Worlds Beat Pizza. This place is a landmark in the Heights. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been here because I moved out of the area but I had to make a special trip when I got close. Thanks Worlds Best!

Great pizza! Great wings! Although a tad expensive(it was around $ 23 for a small two topping pizza and wings) it was all of great quality. The pizza, although a «small» was as big as a medium from many other pizza shops and very filling. My boyfriend and I were unable to finish it on our own. I would say a small could probably feed 3 people(or four people of small appetite). The wings were meaty and delicious. We got the honey BBQ wings and we loved it. I saw the reviews that said there was bad service but when we went the owner was very nice and was talking to us about her family. When we arrived, our wings had not finished cooking so she offered my boyfriend and I free sodas. Sweet! All and all, I can no longer buy pizza from anywhere else. Their pizza is that good. We will definitely be back.

As I write this review I am thinking to myself how did I gain 10 extra pounds?!! Is it because I give in to all these Unilocal reviews and the enticing photos? Well I did it again! 9:00 at night I am shoving this heavenly slice of what they call World’s Best Pizza in my face. And blame it all on Unilocalers! So after reading the reviews I decided I had to have a large special with no anchovies but sub pineapple(subbing the pineapple was a bad idea by the way), another large with half pepperoni and half Hawaiian which after having a slice of the special all I could was inhale the smell of the second pizza. OHNO!!! Don’t think I stopped at the 2nd pizza on my order because my eyes are of course always bigger than my belly… so I go on to order the wings and the garlic bread. But gosh I wish that my eyes were really bigger than my belly so I can make this belly shrink!!! Yes, yes… so on to the rating. Customer Service — I didn’t find the service to be rude or uncomfortable as some of the reviews. They took my order, gave me my amount, took my money and gave me my pizzas, bread and wings. Ugh — what a pig I am!!! Anyhow… that was pretty good service to me, I mean they could’ve told me what BIGEYES I have! FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! On to the rating of the feast — special pizza — yummy but I found that the pineapple was not a good sub — I should leave pineapples in the Hawaiian recipe. Pepperoni/Hawaiian — didn’t have room in the pot for this mix but I could tell you it smelled soooo yummy!!! Wings — was not a fan… something in the buffalo sauce made me think I was Jessica Simpson and that Buffalo wings are buffalo… say buffalo three times… sounds funny. Lats but not least the garlic bread — Woo! That’s what I should of pigged out on! That was the best part about this place! There garlic bread was drenched in butter and garlic. AND it was SPECTACULAR! All in all I have to say this was a yummy pizza joint.

It’s obvious that they use better ingredients than typical chains with your first bite. Their giant pizza barely fits through the door. it’s huge. Got to try their hawaiian and then mushroom/pepporoni and both sides were equally good. I’d be back. Yes, it’s more than other places but it’s worth it.

World’s best pizza? Debatable. World’s best customer service? Almost undeniable. The pizza here is made to order and is covered with plenty of toppings. This pizza is so good you gladly eat the crispy crust. The pizza sauce is slightly tangy but more on the sweet side. The cheese, once cooked, becomes slightly stringy and is plenty thick. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and there was plenty of pepperoni. This pizza is MUCH better than any of you«big name» pizza places and better than most«mom and pop» pizza places, I’ll give it that. Unfortunately, I’m not a local, and do hold some bias to my local pizza shop, which I admit is holding me back from rating this place one star more(but I really do think Upland’s Petrilli’s is better… search for my review to compare). I can’t argue about the customer service here though. It was a pretty chilly evening and my business partner and I did plan on dining in. To our surprise, there was only one table inside for dinning and that table was already taken. When overhearing our debate about dining outside, the owner/manager(I think… she was a pleasant, elderly woman) offered to set up another table indoors for us. She checked on us after our pizza was served, brought us two cups of ice for our canned sodas and, as she was walking out the door for her«quitting time», she stopped by our table and asked if everything was alright, or if we needed anything. In all of my dining experiences, I’ve never been treated that way. If you’re a local, this place deserves your dollars if you’re ordering pizza.

Pretty good pizza, but I’m not a fan. I typically like thin crust. The cheese and toppings they use are really good though! You can tell the cheese is fresher and there was a generous amount of mushroom given. As another Unilocaler said… The pizza is on the blander side, but not as oily like a lot of other pizzerias. A bit pricey too.

Great family owned business for over 40 years. The owner(Pam) is a quite lovely lady. I am glad I took the time to meet her. They have great pizza’s, but to be honest, I love the BBQ that they make on Sundays, you have to go early as they sale out ! Try this place out ! Yummy pizza, ribs and tri tip.
