About ten years ago, I had tennis elbows with both of my arms. Dr. Zhao treated me for 2 months and I haven’t had any problem since then. Her treatment also helped me whenever I had back pain and stiffness. One time I had sharp nerve pain in my legs and I visited her 4 times and amazingly my pain was gone. 3 years ago my knees and my legs started feeling sore, numb, and ached occasionally at night. I went to see an arthritis specialist, she told me this was part of aging process, and walking was the best thing I could do at the moment. Since I like to maintain my knees from getting worse and not to depend on medication for relief, I have been seeing Dr. Zhao regularly. My knees, legs, and back feel pretty good now, they seldom bother me. Dr. Zhao is skilled, gentle, and friendly. I would highly recommend her.

The environment is very nice and clean. Dr. Liu is professional and humorous. He can always find my pain spot correctly.

Dr. Liu is one of the best around! He is awesome! I flew all the way from San Jose over to get treated by him.
My family members also flew over from Singapore to be treated by him. I first met Dr. Liu two years ago when my family was doing a road trip. My aunt sprained her ankle and was unable to walk. I googled and found Dr. Liu online. My aunt was still limping when she went in but after getting treated by Dr. Liu, she was able to walk out of the door with ease and the swelling and pain went away. Since we are out of town, we are not able to come visit Dr. Liu as often as we would have liked to but I try to take time off to get my knees treated. As for my family, whenever they visit me in San Jose from Asia, I will fly them over to LA to be seen by Dr. Liu.

I recently became a patient of Dr. Fuli Liu, who is an acupuncture and Chinese medicine doctor.
I had felt pain in my back and numbness in both hands and feet for a year or so. My legs were becoming weaker and I was on the verge of losing my ability to walk. No one knew what the problem was.
After a year and a half, the neurologists finally discovered that it was a severe cervical spine injury in my neck that necessitated spine surgery.
I had my surgery in 2013. My symptoms stabilized but I still was experiencing moderate pain.
I didn’t want to take the highly addicting opioids, so I took a pain relieving antidepressant instead. Unfortunately, it came with side effects, so I wanted to give acupuncture a try. Also, the pain was so great at night that I couldn’t sleep without medication, as my entire back felt as if it were «on fire.» The pain and lack of sleep made me chronically tired, angry, and depressed.
I found Dr. Liu and he has been treating me with acupuncture for about 3 months. He has made a huge difference with my pain management. He inserts tiny needles in my back and stimulates my nerves with a special machine. He also uses heated cups to help ease my back pain.
I come in once a week and treat both my pain and weight alternating weeks…(one week pain, the next week weight). The medication that I was on for the pain had made me gain about 15 – 20 pounds.
In just 3 months, my pain has lessened greatly, so much so that I was able to stop taking my medication. I can actually get some sleep and I have lost more than 8 pounds.
Both Dr. Liu and his wife, Dr. Ran Zhao, are excellent at what they do. They are caring acupuncture doctors, highly qualified in all areas of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. They are very kind. They always made time for me, even when it got busy at my work and had to change my appointments.
They accept most insurance plans, and if your insurance doesn’t cover the cost, their prices are fair and reasonable.
I am glad that I found them and will continue with my treatments there.
