Magic hands is what Lighter Chen is all about. Been seeing Lighter for about 6 months religiously and my chi has improved from mainly reds to greens and blues (avid goers will understand) typical massages is just that… Typical. He concentrates on your needs and you never leave in pain. He even tells you how to keep in balance in between sessions. I’ve recommend Lighter to many. You have to ask for Lighter. Ask questions and he will answer. We all live in stressful times, it’s good to look forward to an hour of release. Check out the web site and download his book. The best coupon you will EVER invest in.

Went in with Groupon deal. Had a great massage experience with Lighter. He really knows how the body works and he explains everything to you. The décor is a bit outdated at the City of Industry location, however that did not affect my massage. I had the hot stone with the energy check. Then I went back for a second hot stone with cupping. My first cupping experience and it went great.

I bought a groupon for a hot stone massage. I called to make an appointment for the following week, and the lady didn’t even take down my name or number. So, I called the day before my appointment to make sure someone will be there the next morning, and the same lady told me «yeah, yeah». Of course, when I showed up at my appointment time the next morning, there was no one at the location. I tried the phone number 3 times, and no one even answer the phone, not even a answering machine. What kind of business is this that wasting people time like this. Very unprofessional! Avoid it at all cost.

I found this place through groupon and thought I would give it a try despite the bad reviews because I was interested in hot stone massage. Even though my massage was a little cheaper than the original price, I was still disappointed. The man who evaluated my Qi was very professional and polite, but the lady who signed me in and did my massage was rude. I got the relaxation/​hot stone massage… You know, so I can relax. She kept talking to me the whole time and was snapping her gum, which was irritating. She also kept telling me I’m too young to have to get massages (I’m 20, work two jobs and I’m a full time student, so yes I would like to pamper myself once in a while); none of her business whether I should get a massage or not. On top of that she frequently left the room to talk to people outside. And she cut my massage 10 minutes short. I would not recommend this place if you want good service.

This place was ok, I really wanted to do the massage with the stones but wasn’t able to since no one spoke English there. They were nice though but nice isn’t enough.
The massage itself was ok because of the amazon local deal. I would not go back again because if the language barrier. And it wasn’t as relaxing as I expected to feel leaving the place.
